The only daughter of former Republican President Gerald Ford has endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
Susan Ford Bales is a registered Republican and admitted she would 'likely disagree on some policy matters' pushed by the vice president. But ultimately she believed that Harris' 'integrity and commitment to those same principles that guided Dad have led me to conclude' that she should be in the White House over Donald Trump.[snip] Ford was Michigan's only president and was propelled to the White House when Richard Nixon resigned in 1973 in the aftermath of the Watergate scandal.

Taxpayers, not an insurance agency, will pay for the city of Akron's $4.85 million settlement to Jayland Walker's family for Walker's police-involved shooting death, Akron Mayor Shammas Malik.
The city is not insured, so the settlement will come in a series of four payments over four years, he said.
"I imagine that this is something that would have strong feelings, across the board," Malik said of settlement details. "This was something that was done to protect the city's financial interests and to settle the claim."
The lawsuit, filed by Walker's family, initially sought $1 million for each bullet that struck Walker.

Kamala Harris’s campaign is flailing such that even the mainstream media can’t disguise her struggles.
Even her boss seems to have little confidence.
Joe Biden allegedly told Obama that “she” is “not as strong as me” — with Obama agreeing, “That’s true.” If a man who is non compos mentis thinks you are incapable, you are really in trouble.
In a desperate attempt to change the subject, Harris released her medical report, which concludes that she is in “excellent” health and possesses “the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.”
The goal was to compel President Trump to release his records.

Several election forecast models have shifted in favor of former President Donald Trump winning the upcoming presidential election over Vice President Kamala Harris.
FiveThirtyEight, polling expert Nate Silver, J.L. Partners, Decision Desk HQ, and the Hill released election forecast results from their models, which found that Trump’s chances of winning the upcoming election were greater than Harris’s. In a Decision Desk HQ/the Hill election forecast, the model found that Trump had a 52 percent chance of winning the election, while Harris held a 42 percent chance of winning the election.

Tucker Carlson invited journalist Mark Halperin on his show to predict what the post-election future could look like for America and was horrified by what he heard.
Halperin, an author of several books about American elections and currently a reporter for Newsmax, told Carlson it may result in a psychological catastrophe across the country if Donald Trump beats Kamala Harris.
'I think it will be the cause of the greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country,' he said, adding that liberals would question their 'connection to the nation' and suffer 'trauma in the workplace.'

New polling of eight battlegrounds shows Donald Trump on the verge of completing a political comeback the cynics said was impossible after the 2020 election.
But he’s not quite there, per the Redfield & Wilton survey of 8,533 likely voters in the octet of battlegrounds, though the state-level data are encouraging.
Trump leads by 3 points in Arizona, 49% to 46%. He’s up by 4 in Florida, 49% to 45%. In Georgia, the ex-prez leads 48% to 47%. Nevada shows another 1-point lead: 47% to 46%. And it’s 48% to 45% for Trump in North Carolina.
This gets him to 268 electoral votes, forcing Kamala Harris to win the blue-wall states.

Donald Trump's Sunday visit to a McDonald's in Pennsylvania continues to cause hurt feelings and fauxrage among the Usual Suspects, some of who have even gone so far as to try and cancel the Feasterville-Trevose location he traveled to, all for the crime of giving the green light for the GOP presidential nominee to work the fry station and greet drive-thru customers. The point behind Trump's visit, of course, was two-fold: 1) It was in a critically important "purple" county in the presidential race (Bucks County), and 2) it spotlighted Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris' unverified claim of having once supposedly worked at a McDonald's.

The North Carolina judge said Republicans “presented no substantial evidence” of the fraud they claimed they were trying to prevent.

I had a professor at Harvard who told an interesting story. He had just published a book, and an article about him and his writings was forthcoming. The relevant publication sent a photographer to get some author snaps. The photographer took many pictures, and when they were finished, she told him they were done. A second later, he heard the camera shoot again. The surprised professor asked what that was. “I always take a picture of my subjects after they think we have finished.

This is one of the most challenging columns I have written. Not only have we experienced unprecedented unconstitutional abuse of government power exercised in response to COVID-19, 2020 election irregularities, and January 6, which has left our country in a state that has more in common with a banana republic than the constitutional republic that has defined us previously for some 230 years. Recent developments suggest that this could be a prelude to worse to come.

As Election Day looms and polls tighten up, a solid majority of Americans remain unhappy with the Democratic Party’s machinations to remove President Joe Biden as its candidate and replace him with Vice President Kamala Harris. And it’s not strictly partisan. Many Democrats are also upset at how the party switched candidates, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
As Harris continues to struggle, the national online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,240 registered voters indicates lingering widespread disappointment with the Democratic Party’s maneuvers to get rid of the age-impaired Biden last July.
The poll asked voters whether they agreed or disagreed with the following three statements:

Nature might abhor a vacuum, but empires love them. The busy empire-builders in Tehran have spent the last two decades extending their reach into power vacuums in Iraq and Syria as part of their attempt to recreate at least part of the old Persian Empire that once covered almost the entire Middle East. Funding the Houthi rebels in Yemen keeps the Saudis conveniently distracted, too, as well as giving Tehran a way to attack the shipping that Western economies rely upon.
Hamas and Hezbollah in Gaza and Lebanon respectively are Iran's imperial outposts even further west — and the Arab nations have reportedly had enough.

The Blue Light Special was an in-store sales promotion that was available for a short period of time and only during business hours. It was advertised using a rotating blue light and announced over the store's public address system with the phrase "Attention, Kmart shoppers!" The IDF has essentially borrowed this gimmick to get at a large store of Hezbollah money that it can't reach via airstrikes.

Cuba’s 800,000 African slaves were more than twice the number in the United States. Cuba did not abolish slavery until 1886 and there was no Cuban equivalent of the historically black colleges in the USA. By some estimates, only one third of Cubans are people of pallor, with two thirds composed of blacks and those of part African ancestry. That profile bears a stark contrast to Cuba’s ruling Communist Party.

Wade testified before the House Judiciary Committee behind closed doors and admitted to lacking the experience necessary to be special prosecutor, to the point where he attended a course on the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act to learn how the law worked.
“Prior to your appointment as special prosecutor, had you ever worked in a district attorney’s office?” Wade was asked, according to a transcript of his testimony. “No,” Wade replied.

Indeed, wahmbulances have been on standby for the Usual Suspects who, among other things, have suggested this whole thing, which appeared to go over well, was no big deal because presidential candidates "frying food" for the cameras was not a new thing, although we're hard-pressed to find another example in modern history

In her stump speeches around the country since accepting her party’s nomination, Kamala Harris has invoked the three tenets of the far left’s gun control platform again and again – bans, red flag laws, and “universal” background checks. But since her September 10th debate with Donald Trump, Harris has struck a different note, emphasizing again and again that she owns a gun. But Americans should not be taken in by Kamala’s willingness to take on any persona – including “pistol-packing Momala” – to mislead voters into thinking she’s a moderate in a cheap ploy to win in November.

We’re about two weeks out from what may be the most important election of our lifetime. It always seems to be the most important election of our lifetime, which is a real problem. Frankly, elections shouldn’t be that big a deal. They should be important. They should matter. But they should not be an existential crisis. Look back to 1996 when you had Bill Clinton running for reelection against legit war hero Bob Dole. We had that election, and nothing much changed. But pretty much ever since, it’s been crisis after crisis. It’s always the most important election because the left wants to lead America into a communist nightmare

No longer the days of holding court in large venues. The requirement was to sign up on GOOGLE with all your information again and receive an email to obtain entrance. The most hilarious requirement was you needed to show ID. Let me get this straight: I can vote in NV without showing ID,

The poll asked voters whether they agreed or disagreed

Whenever words or phrases appear out of the blue and achieve rapid currency—think “disinformation”—they’re almost always top-down attempts at mind control or mental conditioning. In sneaky fashion, a new phrase can be just a tweak of a former phrase yet the tweak will shift one’s mindset. For example, people used to have medical insurance for medical care—insurance to cover unexpected and high medical bills in case someone got seriously sick. A few decades ago, however, the term became health care. This slight change had huge implications: instead of people seeing a doctor to treat illness, people began to accept the notion of seeing a doctor to maintain health.

Jon Levine has the New York Post story: “Kamala Harris publicly agrees with protestor accusing Israel of genocide: ‘What he’s talking about, it’s real.’”
What she’s talking about — it’s unreal. The imputation of genocide to Israel is an Orwellian phenomenon. Israel has taken many excruciating losses because of the IDF’s concern for innocent civilian life. I officially retired from the US Army on 1 August 2004 and vividly recall sitting and watching the 2004 Democratic National Committee convention. At that convention, a fella named Barack Hussein Obama gave the keynote speech. He had just become a State Senator in Illinois. Angela and I listened to a rousing, emotional, rhetorical speech using the southern pastoral iambic pentameter rhythm and said to each other...this is the guy the Democrats are going to run for President. We were correct in our assessment from 2004. We all witnessed a meteoric rise of someone whom we had no idea of who they were. As a matter of fact, Obama once

New York Democrats have failed to legalize noncitizen voting, but may get their way by passing Proposition 1 on the Nov. 5 ballot.
The deceptively written “Equal Rights Amendment” doesn’t protect women or abortion rights — but does empower lawmakers to ignore the current language of the state Constitution in the name of protecting a whole host of new rights that it would create.
Let’s be clear: Abortion rights are not under threat in New York.
Citizenship and voting rights, however, are under attack.
The courts blocked the New York City Council’s 2021 law to let 800,000 non-citizens with green cards vote, since Article II, Section 1,

Once in a great while, what happens at the bottom of the ballot can reshape a state’s political future for decades to come.
While New Yorkers on Election Day will vote on the controversial “Equal Rights Amendment,” Ohio is ground zero for an effort to wrest control away from the people and give it to unelected, Fauci-like bureaucrats to achieve “redistricting reform.”
And the movement is anything but organic: It’s an out-of-state (and even international) attempt by left-wing politicians to trick voters into rewriting our state constitution by passing Issue 1.
The ballot measure — masterminded by the likes of Barack Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder-

A Long Island village government promoted a voter event that turned out to be a rally to help elect a Democratic candidate in a congressional swing district, The Post has learned.
The village of Hempstead blasted out social media promos for “get out the vote” rally at Kennedy Memorial Park on Oct. 17 boosting Democratic hopeful Laura Gillen — and featuring Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
The event was no civic, nonpartisan registration drive but a rally for the Democratic ticket, video shows — complete with a “New York State Democrats” banner that was displayed as some supporters carried signs for Gillen, who is trying to unseat first-term Republican Rep. Anthony D’Esposito.

Kamala Harris has been trying to push the fiction that former President Donald Trump is "exhausted.'
I think it's her attacks and her campaign that are exhausted. If you look at Trump's campaign not only does it have the momentum in the polls, it has the momentum in creativity, energy, and, well, joy. He seems to be having fun, and so are all the people supporting him.
We saw him turn a troll into a hilarious campaign event at a McDonald's, as well as making something of a comment on serving the people and recognizing workers.
But the Trump energy was lighting up around Pennsylvania.

The FCC is investigating CBS for blatant manipulation of news. [SEE COMPLAINT HERE] CBS really has no defense.
CBS has been caught producing, via editorial manipulation, two entirely different responses to the same question.
Everyone has been asking CBS to just simply release the full transcript. CBS has refused. The assumption is now about the manipulative content of the broadcast being so extreme that to release a transcript would be even worse than what is already known. The FCC complaint is simple and accurate, which is likely why CBS has never attempted to defend itself, until today.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have a Pennsylvania problem.
Harris, her team, and national Democrats finally know it. But does their knowledge come too late? And can they fix it?
With his disastrous debate performance in June, Joe Biden showed the nation that he was old, floundering, and not up to the job. Polls confirmed it. National Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, along with Team Harris, sprang into action.
Something had to be done. The “Democratic Politburo” decided – on behalf of 75 million Democratic voters – what the party’s best option was. Out with “Uncle Joe,” and in with the new and improved product: Kamala Harris.

I wouldn’t be much of a political pundit if I weren’t willing to share my prediction for what will happen in 15 days when one of the most important presidential elections in history is decided.
So here goes: Donald Trump will win, and he will win convincingly. But that doesn’t mean the progressive left won’t have a meltdown. Just as in 2016, when Trump was first elected president, the media will be dismayed, the Democrats will be shocked, and there will be protests in the streets, possibly violent. Congressional Democrats such as Jamie Raskin will try to prevent Trump from being sworn in by declaring him an insurrectionist.
