One of the heavyweight bouts in the upcoming election is the U.S. Senate race in Nevada, between Donald Trump-endorsed Sam Brown, a retired Army captain, and incumbent Democrat Senator Jacky Rosen. But Brown's campaign has been sputtering of late, as my colleague in the Silver State, Brittany Sheehan, wrote in her column ahead of Thursday night's debate between the contenders: Indeed, his fortunes in the race seem to be going in the right direction. His numbers are moving up, as first-term incumbent Rosen's are trending downward.

Former President Donald Trump said Friday that he doesn’t understand why Republicans are clamoring for Nikki Haley to join him on the campaign trail when he beat her “badly” in the primaries — while insisting that the former South Carolina governor is already “helping” with his White House run.
“Yeah, I’ll do what I have to do,” Trump told “Fox and Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade, when asked if he plans on inviting Haley on the campaign trail “But let me just tell you — Nikki Haley and I fought, and I beat her by 50, 60, 90 points,” the former president continued.

Moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis of ABC News delivered a frankly disgusting performance during the September presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The network had agreed that there would be no fact checks and no interruptions, yet the partisan duo proceeded to do exactly that. In fact, Trump was fact-checked at least five times, while Harris was left to say whatever the heck she wanted (much of it lies). Perhaps the most infamous moment came when Muir, using his most arrogant, self-important tone, interrupted Trump on crime statistics. Yes, the former president fought back and tried to explain why Muir was wrong,

The Israeli government said a drone was launched toward the prime minister’s house Saturday, with no casualties, as Iran’s supreme leader vowed that Hamas would continue its fight against Israel following the killing of the mastermind of last year’s deadly Oct. 7 attack.
Sirens wailed Saturday morning in Israel, warning of incoming fire from Lebanon, with a drone launched toward Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea, the Israeli government said. Neither he nor his wife were home and there were no casualties, said his spokesperson in a statement.

Little Israel is showing the world how to win again – and saving civilization and a free way of life into the bargain .... let Israel keep winning!
The problem with the JCPOA was, of course, its "sunset clauses." They assured Iran that it could legitimately have as many nuclear weapons as it can produce in just a few short years.
The West has left Israel to fight a war that should never have been Israel's alone. The Western nations, through diplomatic miscalculations, the need for votes, cowardice and a fear of conflict, have essentially outsourced their responsibilities for maintaining global peace to Israel,

"Real Time" host Bill Maher questioned whether it was wise for the liberal media to continue avoiding the growing controversies surrounding second gentleman Doug Emhoff."There's a lot of scuttlebutt in the news this week about Doug," Maher said in a panel discussion on Friday's "Overtime" online segment of his HBO show. "If people don't know what's going on, the Daily Mail is reporting that three women [Emhoff's ex-girlfriend] talked to contemporaneously, which has been the standard very often in these cases, that she said back in, I think,

As RedState previously reported, Hamas leader and mastermind of the Oct. 7 massacre, Yahya Sinwar, was eliminated by the IDF earlier today. It is a day of justice and celebration, though there is still grief over the hostages who have not been returned yet.
The grief is now turning to rage as once again, we discover just how corrupt the U.N.'s relief agency, UNWRA, is and how it has been infiltrated with Hamas operatives. Yahya Sinwar was killed along with two other terrorists, one being his bodyguard, and an ID card found on Sinwar's body shows that the man was also a UNWRA teacher.

Go to Kamala Harris’ campaign website and among the very short list of alleged achievements is this: “She cast the deciding vote to lower drug prices and cap insulin prices for our seniors.”
The only problem is that drug costs for seniors have skyrocketed since Harris signed that bill.
Harris is pointing to the criminally misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act,” which got zero Republican votes, and which was supposed to lower the cost of prescription drugs by giving, as Harris puts it, “Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices with Big Pharma.”

Western powers, often suppliers of advanced weaponry to Israel, are pushing the Jewish state to stop fighting Hamas and Hezbollah. Why?
You would probably laugh. Orthodox Jews do not use electronic or electrical devices during the Sabbath and holidays. Smartphones, computers, and the like are generally turned off with the entry of a holy day and only turned back on when the day goes out the following night. So what happens when Israel assassinates Hassan Nasrallah or kills Yahya Sinwar on one of these days? Orthodox Jews are still curious people, even if their internet-connected devices are off.

Readers of I&I know all about how the Biden-Harris regime has been fudging jobs numbers to make monthly gains look bigger than they really are. Turns out, it’s been doing the same with crime statistics … this time to make it look like violent crime is on the way down.
RealClearInvestigations dug into the FBI’s data and found that the law enforcement agency had been criminally misreporting crime statistics in a way that just happened to help Biden-Harris look like it’s been tough on crime.
Last fall, for example, the FBI reported that violent crime had dropped by 2.1% in 2022.

At some point, the hippies in the '60s learned that if they took a bath and put on nicer looking clothes, then people would think their insane ramblings actually had some intellectual weight to them. They wormed their way into universities and media, pushing government reforms and slowly but surely injecting leftist radicalism into the government. Now, we have open socialists winning seats in government, a socialist healthcare system, and a legitimate communist as the chosen and installed candidate for the Democrat Party's attempt at the White House.
