AURORA, Colo. — Another retail closure is coming to a troubled intersection on E. Colfax Avenue in Aurora. The Walgreens store at Havana Street and E. Colfax Avenue will close next month. Walmart shuttered its Neighborhood Market store at the same intersection in June. The same area the precious new migrants moved into. But Dems claim it's a wonderfully diverse neighborhood.

I think they need to change the name of "E. Coli-fax Avenue." That might help. (Hey, that's how I read it.)

Yes, but while Claire and her local msm keepers were not willing to come right out and say it, the Peoples' Republic of Denver has again, asserted itself. How much more terrible can it get? We'll soon see. Dam glad that my wife and I don't reside in the Denver area anymore. But sadly, our kids and grandkids do.

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are deadlocked in the latest national NBC News poll, with Trump bolstered by Republicans coming back home to support him after last month’s rough debate and a subsequent polling deficit, as well as by a favorable voter assessment of Trump’s term as president. These are among the findings of a new survey released three weeks before Election Day, which also shows Harris’ popularity declining compared to a month ago, after she got a big summertime boost; a massive gender gap between support for Harris and Trump; and voters viewing abortion as

The drownings of two Navy SEALs during a maritime intercept off the coast of Somalia were preventable, caused by a lack of proper training and unclear guidance on effective flotation, a Navy investigation found. During a night-time intercept of a ship carrying Iranian weapons to Yemen, Chief Special Warfare Operator Christopher Chambers and Naval Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Nathan Ingram fell into heavy seas while trying to board. Chambers, the Leading Petty Officer of the platoon, fell in from the side of the ship, while Ingram jumped into the water immediately to help. Loaded with gear for the intercept

One person was killed and 12 people remain trapped inside a Colorado gold mine after the elevator malfunctioned, causing “a severe danger” during a tour Thursday, sheriff officials said. The elevator inside the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine — a family-owned business that offers tours to the public — experienced a mechanical issue at 500 feet deep at around noon, Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell said during a press conference streamed by FOX21 News. One person died, and four people suffered minor injuries during the elevator issue, he added. Authorities have already rescued 11 people — including two children — from

Over the weekend I wrote about recently hints that the Harris campaign might be in trouble in Michigan, a swing state they need to win next month. One of the issues that has Democrats in the state feeling nervous is the ongoing Israeli-Hamas war. As one Lebanese activist told Reuters, Harris was going to lose a lot of votes over the Biden administration's stance. (Snip) “I personally don’t know anyone who would vote for Harris,” said Imam Hassan Qazwini, who founded the Islamic Institute of America in Dearborn Heights and said that he planned to vote third party this year

The swing state of Pennsylvania’s voter registration system will be closed on the night of former President Donald Trump’s return rally in Butler, the site of the July 13 assassination attempt against him. The Republican nominee announced Sept. 25 that he is holding another rally in Butler on Oct. 5, just three months after a gunman shot the former president at a rally there, wounding him in the ear. “This website will undergo scheduled system maintenance and be unavailable Saturday, October 5th 10 p.m. until October 6th 4 a.m,” the Pennsylvania Voter Registration website says. “We thank you for your

“Mr Nice Guy”, Tim Walz, showed up at the vice-presidential debate in New York and flubbed it. Perhaps he was over-prepared. Or underprepared. Or just too darned “Minnesota nice”, as they say in his home state. Folks there have a reputation for being congenitally kind and polite. Kamala Harris’s running mate could have pummelled JD Vance for being a mean, small-minded, misogynistic flip-flopper whose sole guiding principle was to suck up to Donald Trump. Instead, he came to praise rather than to bury his opponent. Vance couldn’t believe his luck. The Republican vice-presidential nominee was only too pleased to play

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania — America’s second Catholic president was visiting his childhood neighborhood in April, when he employed a bit of ritualized Irish Democratic politicking. “I’m Joe Biden,” he introduced himself to a patron at a small coffee shop gathering in Green Ridge, long a bastion of Irish-Catholic families who work in law and politics. “I went to St. Paul’s.” (Snip) Biden isn’t wildly popular here. What may also mean nothing is that two citizen journalists are alleging that they’ve found young men speaking anonymously about the fact that Walz groomed them while they were under his aegis in high school.
