The View is set to make history on Wednesday. The ladies will welcome the first-ever sitting president to the show for a live interview when Joe Biden appears later this week. Whoopi Goldberg first announced the news during today’s broadcast. “We have some wonderful news,” she began. “You want me to tell you? I have a historic announcement: This Wednesday, we are honored to have the sitting President of the United States Joe Biden, [who] will be live on The View with us.”Her announcement was met with whoops and cheers in the audience, and Goldberg was sure to add, “Let us not forget, he is still President

Michael Cohen, a former personal attorney for Donald Trump, said Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that if former President Donald Trump wins the election, he will leave the country under a different name.
Host Nicolle Wallace said, “What do you think happens to you if he wins?”
Cohen said, “I’m out of here. I’m already working on a foreign passport with a completely different name. I don’t know how it is going to work as far as dealing with my wife and my children. I certainly don’t want them moving to where I’m looking to go.”
He added, “I don’t think you or the president of the MSNBC, General Milley, Liz Cheney are safe.

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that former President Donald Trump should be extinguished from politics, which she clarified meant “vote him out.”
Raimondo said, “Tax policy, you have to work with Congress but if he decides he wants to do something crazy, like a 200% tariff, which will hurt Americans, raise prices and lose jobs, he could do it as president. Which is why honestly why I’m here in my personal capacity. The stakes are so high in this one. We cannot afford to put him back in the White House.”

In what’s likely his final speech to the United Nations General Assembly, President Biden said on Tuesday that he thinks “every day” about the 13 Americans who died in a suicide bombing at Kabul’s airport — as Secretary of State Antony Blinken faces a possible House panel contempt vote later in the day.
“Thirteen brave Americans lost their lives, along with hundreds of Afghans in a suicide bomb. I think [of] those lost lives — I think [of] them every day,” said Biden, 81, stumbling over his script.
Biden called his August 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan “a hard decision, but the right decision” during the lengthy speech,

"Zero Dark Thirty" was a pretty solid movie. I liked it because the producers and director didn’t sugarcoat the way that CIA operatives treated terrorists. Terrorists deserved their fate. The composite protagonist “Maya” was a CIA analyst who worked tirelessly to bring justice down on Osama Bin Laden — AKA a bullet to the brain.
After Maya had fingered where Bin Laden was, she met with Leon Panetta, the then-head of the CIA. Panetta was portrayed by James Gandolfini. I don’t object to artistic license when actors portray real people, but Gandolfini was a big man: 6’1” and intimidating. He looked intimidating just standing still. Panetta,

Does the United States of America have a functioning president right now? That question isn’t meant to be provocative. Members of both major parties have noted that President Joe Biden seems to have gone AWOL from his official duties as the nation’s executive in chief. A large chunk of voters agree, saying they want Biden to leave office right away.
In August’s I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,488 registered voters, taken from July 31-Aug. 2, shortly after the Democratic Party forced Biden to step down as his party’s candidate, we asked voters the following question: “Which of the following do you believe is in the best interest of the country?” \

Let’s skip ahead to after the election. No matter who wins, the next president will declare that they have a “mandate” to do something. And they will be wrong.
The whole canard that a newly elected president is for some reason entitled to have their way is an invention. The word “mandate” doesn’t appear in the Constitution or the Federalist Papers.
The myth can be traced to Andrew Jackson. (Snip) [T]he core problem with mandate-mania is this: Presidential electoral majorities never speak with one voice in favor of a policy platform.

In a heavily coordinated and strategic political visit to Pennsylvania, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky was essentially campaigning for Kamala Harris and a continuation of the Biden foreign policy which provides billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. [AP Article Here]
Any non-pretending political pundit can see the transparency of the Zelensky visit to an ammunition factory in Pennsylvania when timed in context against the 2024 presidential campaign, with an overlay of Zelensky’s comments about how a Trump-Vance victory would be detrimental to the interests of the Ukranian government.

We are the non-pretending audience that doesn’t need to have the points of continual similarity pointed out. However, there is something rather remarkable about those in Washington DC who never seem to be able to connect the same proverbial dots. In the latest development of attempted President Trump assassin Ryan Routh, the Dept of Homeland Security and FBI are now admitting that Routh was on a watch list of Americans who traveled to fight with Ukraine. The people on the watch list were supposed to be scrutinized and tracked when they reentered the USA. However, Ryan Routh, “fell through the cracks,”

Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, dumped over $500,000 worth of Visa stock just weeks before the Department of Justice slapped the financial giant with an antitrust lawsuit, according to the New York Post.
The timing couldn’t be more suspect. Visa, one of the most dominant players in the debit card market, is now facing charges of monopolizing the industry.
The DOJ’s antitrust unit claims Visa has abused its market power, forcing financial tech companies to work with them while penalizing those who try to go with competitors.
According to the press release: According to the complaint, more than 60% of debit transactions in the United States run on Visa’s debit network,

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio, WJW-TV [Cleveland, OH] - In the state of Ohio, private citizens have the ability to legally file criminal charges. Tuesday, a Haitian nonprofit called Haitian Bridge Alliance did just that, bringing criminal charges against former President Donald Trump and Ohio Sen. JD Vance [Snip] The bench memorandum and supporting affidavit filed at Clark County Municipal Court comes following unfounded claims from both men regarding the large immigrant population in Springfield, Ohio. The attorney for the organization says there is probable cause the two committed crimes and they want a judge to affirm that, file charges and issue arrest warrants for both men.

An emotional President Joe Biden dabbed away tears Monday evening before he applauded Bill and Hillary Clinton for their uncommon “decency” then cooed “I love you” to the former first lady for publicly defending him.
The octogenarian was attending the Clinton Global Initiative’s summit but was not listed to speak before the elite gathering. The New York Post (NYP) reports he appeared there in support of Jill Biden before being called to the stage himself to accept a Global Citizen award. “This is what you call being trapped,” Biden declared before thanking the former first couple for their support.
