Holy hell: this is what some at The Washington Post thought was a good take in the wake of the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The former president dodged a bullet—literally—while golfing at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend. Ryan Wesley Routh was hiding in a shrubbery along the course for 12 hours before Secret Service agents discovered his location while doing a routine security sweep ahead of the president and uprooted his evil plan. The course was not fully cleared before Trump’s arrival, and there are questions regarding whether a drone should have been used again.

The people who have been demonizing him for the past eight years would have us believe that Trump brought this all on himself.

Be sure to see the Venn diagram in the article. That should be on every t-shirt.

I heard someone say, on-line, that Routh's car was parked for a long period of time near the golf course. Didn't anyone question who owned the car and why was it parked there? Obviously, it was out-of-the-ordinary for it to be there; even a regular dog walker would question who owned the car. Just a thought.

The people blaming Trump are the same people that blamed Epstein for killing himself.

Monday, on Megyn Kelly’s show, I heard a very upset Eric Trump say “they tried to make my father a laughingstock. That didn’t work. They tried to bring civil and criminal charges against him. That didn’t work. They tried to impeach him. That didn’t work. Now they’re trying to kill him.” A cynic might sneer, “who is ‘they’ Eric?” but it still is an important question. It is essential to boldly but correctly identify the culprits and to realize that they are at war with us using techniques far outside our quaint notions of traditional warfare. We must have leaders who can put what appear to be hazy tin foil hat suspicions into sharp focus and then prescribe a path forward.

As a former President, whether or not he's running for office, he is supposed to have SS protection. Does President Trump have as much SS protection as obama and his family?

I'm having a hard time accepting that the PERFECT pretty-boy useful idiot just HAPPENED to show up in the woods 12 hours in advance for a 2nd assassination attempt. This is a guy who loves to get his face in the news, whatever it takes to do that---even recruiting others to defend Ukraine--- with no prior military experience whatsoever. He may have failed in that mission but look at what he managed to achieve: fHe got the NYTimes and others to interview him as a reliable Ukrainian hero with a noble cause.
With that kind of background, would he agree to shooting Trump if he were paid in advance and guaranteed that if caught he'd get off on a technicality to write a book? Hmmm.

I am sick of the still called "mainstream" media, and their skinny suits. To start, they have not been "mainstream" in a decade, as nobody with any intelligence goes there for their opinion.

The USSS is a major clusterfox. The WP is part of the Deep State. The WP is covering for the USSS. Both want 45 eliminated. It's not rocket science.

Where'd the put of state guy get the car much less the money to rent/buy it? Was the sanitized SKS weapon loaded? Where did he get his range time?

Am I the only one who questions the 12 how wait time? It's September in Florida and its hot. he sat there for 12 hours and no one noticed? He did that for days just waiting for Trump to show up, Like a hunter in a blind?
Where was the water bottles? The snack wrappings? What about something a bit more comfy to sit on? A pillow or a short chair?
He continued to come back and forth to set up his outpost and NO ONE noticed? He's got backpacks and open carrying a rifle and no one saw anything?
Especially when he was escaping and THEN some woman snapped his license plate and vehicle?
Something stinks.
