Some things are true — for collectivist communists and individualist capitalists, for all people, regardless of who they are.
For decades now, Americans have been inundated with propaganda that the only entity that cares for them is found in the Democrat party, as collectivism has been promoted as America’s savior and individualism and individual liberty have been castigated as “selfish” and self-serving. But although there is no shame in looking out for one’s own interests, there is plenty of shame in it when you put the entire population and the nation at risk in the process, which is precisely what the International Longshoreman’s Association is doing,

Americans don't win with the strike. The longshoreman win as some are paid as much as 400,000 dollars a year and they want a 77% pay increase. With the 77% pay raise they will be making half a million to a million a year. So, let's tax the longshoremen with big business. They are holding America hostage during an election year and the Christmas shopping. People fear what is taking place with the strike, not for what they want but for what they need in daily life. What will happen with prescription drugs from China for example.

FTA - "It’s as though Joe Biden and the people within his regime are gleefully anticipating the end results, much as would a nation’s enemies from within, if they were following the Cloward and Piven playbook to crash a nation’s system by overwhelming it. "

Certainly not the longshoremen or their obnoxious union president. Automation will do a much better job.

All the union does is raise your prices and raise their wages. It is a transfer of wealth from nonunion to union workers. It appears we have 20 million illegals in the country without jobs. Put Americans on the docks that want the work, then the illegals who need jobs. The company could get thousands of applications for every job opening.

That smug and snarky mafia leader, Harold Daggett, of the Longshoremen is himself making the case for automation to replace those who threaten to strangle and hold the country hostage over their ever increasing wants.
Automating the loading/unloading operations at the nations ports was not thought about until these folks decided that they can do this whenever they wish.
Unions and unreasonable demands are responsible for the need to move to higher technology to do the necessary job and help keep prices affordable.

I suspect a set-up. In the Democratic tradition of never letting a crisis go to waste, Biden will appoint Kamala to negotiate a (pre-arranged) 60-day cooling-off period in the strike.

Costco near me is out of any paper products, mostly toilet paper. I'm not sure TP comes here on a boat; we have a lot of paper mills in the US. I think it is time to get rid this arrogant union,; this is still America.

Massive amounts of necessities come through Houston. Stock up everybody. Greedy greed is the reason for all of it.

I understand the overseas ports (Singapore and Shanghai come to mind) are incredibly efficient with automation. The longshoremen remind me of the early 20th century buggy whip manufacturers arguing with car manufacturers.

I’d call them Luddites but Luddites didn’t shut down the economy. Even if QUEMALA Sutra negotiates a contract, the damage will be done and people vote their pocketbooks.
This will be another opportunity for PDJT to overcome the slings and arrows of the DemonRats and come out ahead.

This a nail in the coffin for many middle-class and dirt-poor Americans if the strikes go beyond 7 days. Permanently lost jobs, foreclosures, evictions, and death by starvation. America is in ICU, and only patriotic Americans could save the country, not the president. Btw, Illegal Aliens will not suffer because our government protects them. Pray for Divine Intervention, it's our last hope.

A Dem controlled America seems bound and determined to commit national suicide.
They don't realize that when it all comes crashing down, they have to live in the ruins with the rest of us.
