X owner Elon Musk and former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed on social media that Vice President Kamala Harris would want to "shut down" X if it can’t be made to conform to government oversight. The two figures backing former President Trump shared a clip from an interview Harris had with CNN in 2019 after a Democratic presidential primary debate, where she blasted social media sites for "directly speaking to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight and regulation," something she said "has to stop." I watched U.S. Grace Force, online, this morning, and Father Chad Rippinger, an exorcist, said on the program that once a communist government gets in power, you cannot get them out of power, other than by force. Forewarned.

"Kamala Harris wants to shut down X unless site conforms to government oversight" Only partly true. Leaves out the most important word - GLOBAL "Kamala Harris wants to shut down X unless (the) site conforms to (GLOBAL) government oversight" There is an all out assault on free speech around the world. Britain, Europe, Brazil, America. We'll leave out the Chinese suppression because, well, China... The reason is that the governments around the world got together and had their little conferences and decided how they wanted the world to be. They cannot afford to let you have a voice in that. Deplorable. Your masters will tell you what you will do. Better wake up... Or, you will be eating the bugs

Kamala wants power, X is in the way, and Kamala has never experienced bad consequences for overreach afaik, so yeah she would shut down X imo. There would be a backlash, she would scorn it and we are off the conflict with the power grabbing democrats again.

The global warming alarmist cabal continues to spin its many yarns and press forward with its propaganda program. Maybe the zealots are becoming desperate because they see the facts aren’t lining up with their hyperbole. Following the get-’em-while-they’re-young school of thought, the climate agitators are targeting kindergarteners. NASA’s Climate Kids webpage, for instance, says “global warming will affect everyone on Earth.” While admitting that “fossil fuels have changed the course of human history,” NASA also says “these good things come at a cost. The cost is pollution, the destruction of landscapes and natural habitats, oil spills in the ocean, and nasty fracking chemicals in the ground.

A 14-year-old student opened fire at a Georgia high school and killed four people on Wednesday, authorities said, sending students scrambling for shelter in their classrooms — and eventually to the football stadium — as officers swarmed the campus and parents raced to find out if their children were safe. The dead were identified as two students and two teachers at Apalachee High School in Winder, about an hour’s drive from Atlanta. At least nine other people were taken to hospitals with injuries. Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey said two school resource officers encountered the shooter within minutes after a report of shots fired went out.

Donald Trump shocked political observers last week when he appeared to change his position on legalizing marijuana. But, it could become a political jackpot. New surveys suggest voters in the “Blue Wall” states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania could be swayed by Trump’s “green” opinion on cannabis. The Ragnar Research Group polling of 1,000 likely voters between Aug. 18 and Aug. 21 shows broad support for cannabis legalization and very little political downside for Trump in embracing it.

Hawley appeared on "Jesse Watters Primetime" Tuesday night to reveal whistleblowers' claims that when Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents were reassigned to work on the protective details, they were given a single two-hour webinar on Microsoft Teams.

Democrats are seeking to put Republicans in Florida on defense over the issue of abortion. While winning the Sunshine State will be an uphill climb for Democrats, Vice President Harris’s campaign has increased its presence in Florida amid an effort to legalize the procedure in the state through a ballot initiative that will go before voters in November. The “Fighting for Reproductive Rights” bus tour launched Tuesday in Palm Beach, former President Trump’s hometown, and will feature Harris surrogates meeting with voters to discuss access to reproductive rights.

The notoriously verbose Ted Cruz has gone largely silent on abortion, one of his favorite topics to legislate on and bloviate about, during his Senate re-election campaign in Texas – an ominous sign both for Cruz and the anti-abortion movement writ large. Indeed, Texas representative Colin Allred has mounted an unusually strong campaign for Cruz’s Senate seat at a time when Texas has become ground zero in the grisly maternal health disaster unfolding across the country since the fall of Roe v Wade. As of the latest University of Houston poll, the race between Cruz and Allred is currently a dead heat,

When it was clear that our liberties were going to be violated by public officials’ overreaction to the 2020 novel coronavirus outbreak, we considered encouraging Americans to engage in civil disobedience against the unlawful orders that were about to be issued. We regret that we did not write that editorial. We have no such hesitation in 2024, though. When the COVID test positivity rate surged last month, surpassing the summer peaks of 2022 and 2023, a few voices insisted that we needed to go back to the asinine rules of 2020.

Harris still enjoyed an edge with prospective voters as Labor Day approached, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll suggests, but it might not be sustainable as Trump consolidates his strength among swing-state voters. In a head-to-head matchup, Harris holds a 48% to 45% advantage over Trump in the September I&I/TIPP Poll, with 1,386 registered voters answering the survey from Aug. 28-Aug. 30. In a recent and now widely seen Tucker Carlson interview, a guest historian named Darryl Cooper casually presented a surprising number of flawed theories about World War II. He focused his misstatements on the respective roles of Winston Churchill’s Britain and Adolf Hitler’s Germany—especially in matters of the treatment and fate of Russian prisoners, the Holocaust, the systematic slaughtering of Jews, strategic bombing, and the nature of Winston Churchill. Because of the size of the audience Carlson introduced him to, and because of the gravity of Cooper’s falsehoods, his assertions deserve a response.

An Alabama man entered a Florida hospital for a procedure to remove his spleen. On Aug. 21, medical records provided to USA Today by Zarzaur Law show that "Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky performed a hand-assisted laparoscopic splenectomy procedure on William “Bill” Bryan, 70, from Muscle Shoals, Alabama." Bryan's widow claims that Shaknovsky mistakenly removed his liver instead of his spleen. “Dr. Shaknovsky removed Mr. Bryan’s liver and, in so doing, transected the major vasculature supplying the liver, causing immediate and catastrophic blood loss resulting in death,” the statement from the law firm said. “The surgeon proceeded with labeling the removed liver specimen as a 'spleen,' and it wasn’t until following the death

Biden admitted to withholding at least $1.4 million in taxes over four years in the throes of his addiction to cocaine, spending it instead on a lavish lifestyle.

The Kamala Harris campaign spokesman Ian Sams appeared on CNN this week and made excuses for why they are not talking about Kamala’s record from the last few years. This gives away their whole game. Democrats and the Harris people want voters to forget the fact that Harris has been part of the Biden administration and is directly responsible for what has transpired over the last three and a half years. That’s why they keep pushing the whole ‘new way forward’ nonsense. It’s a feeble attempt to erase recent history so that Harris isn’t held accountable by voters. Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

Polling conducted since Harris replaced President Joe Biden a month ago revealed that the candidate whom Republicans have decried as an ineffective “border czar” has the backing of a growing share of voters
