I have to say that I'm liking JD Vance – in fact, he's killing it. Now, I've always liked the guy. I've met him a couple of times and he's not a stiff. He’s a normal human being, as one would expect from an Ohioan (I am one too, despite my California residence for the last half-century). He doesn't have that weird vibe you get from a lot of politicians, that if they take off their suit they'll disappear. The Democrats may think he's weird, or at least claim he is, but that's only because they are weirdos.

From the article: "Oh, and the new Dem babbling point is that somehow RFK Jr. has replaced JD Vance in the eyes of Trump, and that's just stupid. JD's not going to fall for that kind of cheesy manipulation. He's busy playing his own role, which is complementary to Trump's. And to Trump's great credit, as JD Vance shines – he is shining – Trump isn't offended or resentful. Trump loves it and is out focusing on doing his own things while JD does the things he needs to do."
My answer to the Democrat's new talking point about RFK Jr. replacing JD Vance: strength in numbers and that is clearly a strength with Donald Trump and having key people helping him. Of late - Tulsi Gabbard. It is so evident that the Harris-Walz campaign has no platform.

I'm a former Ohioan too, and it took moving out of state for me to realize how rare a normal human being is. Don't mistake that humble Ohio Nice exterior--JD is a gifted debater with a razor wit. Walz is a phony, who has gotten away with phoniness because the press and blue state politics have both given him a pass. He must live in terror these days, wondering what lie will be exposed in today's news cycle.

FTA - "JD Vance has the quiet confidence of someone who has lived through adversity and prevailed. He survived grinding poverty, Marine Corps boot camp, and a deployment to Iraq. He survived at Yale as a normal person. And he's survived being beaten up by the regime media, coming out smiling at the other end of this gauntlet. He can survive a 60-year-old communist blue falcon who looks like he's 75 and on the verge of vapor locking."
"...vapor locking."
Good one, Kurt.

The democrats began their personal attacks against JD on the very day he was selected. According to their propagandists, people like JD, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, Kari Lake, Tulsi Gabbard, etc. are all losers and should not dare to challenge any of them but, as we all know, there isn't a qualified, moral or honest democrat to be found anywhere in this government. The Freak Show assembled for the Biden administration is living proof of that. Gather Buttigieg, Levine, Blinken, Yellen, Garland, Brinton, Clinton, both Obamas and the rest under one tent and you would swear it was part of a Barnum and Bailey production.

Before we start going all faint and goo-goo-eyed over Vance, we'd better wait and make sure he's no Pence. My suspicion is he's bought and paid for by the Deep State.
I used to say, "Trust, but verify," but now I say "Verify, and THEN trust."

I'm in Ohio, and I didn't know anything about JD Vance until he ran for senator of Ohio. I was intrigued by what I was reading, but when I heard that he wrote Hillbilly Elegy, I knew I had to read it. First, I was happy to learn that he read his own book on Audible. His voice is very pleasing, and his book was an eye-opener! He has struggled with life and could have been sucked up in the hopelessness of such an environment. He has overcome such odds, that anyone with sense would admire him. He is a very real and substantive person. He gives us hope for the future!

I, too, have been impressed. Walz lies to make himself seem important. And most of the time no one is checking into these lies. Until now. Plus Walz lies because he is a democrat. It's what they do and for the most part they are good at it. Never forget they lied about FJB and his broken brain right up until the end. There is no reason to trust or believe them on anything.

Actually, he scares me! Every time I see him on television, mostly on Fox News (the only one allowed on my TV) I can feel the knots starting to form in my stomach. He looks like someone should be administering drugs and ordering a truck to transport him to the nearest mental health facility. Why does he make those ridiculous faces? WHY? Funny, I got the same reaction from Hillary, Brain Dead And Obama. I truly believe that the Good Lord is desperately trying to tell us something!! Please let us all listen, please.....................

I've been a Vance fan since I read Hillbilly Elegy when it first came out. Glad to see it's number one on the best seller list. Take that, liberals. I agree with Kurt as usual.

Trump has learned a thing or two since his first term. I expect more good decisions in the future.
