The United States, Egypt, and Qatar have finalized a cease-fire proposal to halt the ongoing Gaza war between Israel and Hamas after holding discussions in Doha over the last two days.
The three nations released a joint statement on Friday announcing that they presented both sides of the conflict with a finalized cease-fire deal, and plan on holding discussions in Cairo next week to conclude the negotiations.
The proposal is consistent with the principles President Joe Biden laid out in a three-part cease-fire plan on May 31, the statement says. “This proposal builds on areas of agreement over the past week, and bridges remaining gaps

Wow... announcing a cease fire "agreement" to which neither Israel or Hamas have agreed. Joe and Kamala at their finest.

1938...Agreement to give part of Czechoslovakia to Hitler was enacted by UK, France etc. The Czechs were not included in the meeting or the agreement. Sound similar?

How nice of three countries not involved in the conflict to negotiate a cease fire among themselves, but not yet presented it to the actual parties involved in the conflict. Hamas is only interested in a "cease fire" once the last Israeli is dead and gone. Israel will agree to a cease fire once the hostages have been safely returned and accounted for and their future safety is assured. Hamas will never agree to that. They can negotiate all they want, but unless the warring parties actually want the war to end, they are wasting their time.

That would be a big "no" from Israel!!!!!!!
Hamas are sub-human slime. Until they are exterminated -- every single one of them -- and every hostage is returned alive, there will not be a "ceasefire"!!!!!! And once Hamas is all exterminated and all hostages returned, there won't be a need for a "ceasefire", since Israel will be happy to go back home.

There is no splitting the difference with Hamas. It is infuriating to see our government go forward pretending not to understand that.

"Finalizing" an agreement - - without Hamas being there!
Yup - - that's sure to bring about peace for our time.

The US, Egypt, and Qatar are all negotiating as if Hamas actually care about saving the lives of the Palestinian people. They are just disposable pawns to Hamas so a cease fire is not really a priority to them.

US, Egypt, and Qatar, you really don't understand, do you. Hamas hasn't been eradicated yet. After hamas has been eradicated, then I am sure Israel and iran can talk it over.

Did anyone ask Israel how they feel about this latest attempt to force them to commit suicide?

Agree with all of the above.
The US, Egypt and Qatar diplomats are wasting their time flapping their jaws.
Neither of the combatants wants a 'two state solution' that the yappers keep talking about.
Hamas wants to kill all the Jews, and Israel wants the attacks to stop, which means eliminating Hamas and every one of it's violent supporters.
But I bet those diplomats are staying in very nice, very expensive accommodations and eating at very nice, very expensive restaurants.....the US Taxpayers are footing the bill for ALL of it.

This is like the third one this year, correct? May want to run it by the principals before announcing victory.

They have a plan but will both parties agree? Even if they do, Hamas won't abide by it. I give them 24 hours before they start up again.
