Kamala Harris to Announce Soviet-Style
Price Controls on Food Under Guise of
‘Gouging Ban’

Soviet-style centrally administered price controls on food and grocery prices will form part of the federal economic proposals U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will unveil Friday when she finally delivers an insight into her 2024 policies. Her address will mark the first time Harris offers a policy focused speech since she was anointed as the Democratic candidate in July and been roundly accused by critics since as being a policy-free zone, as Breitbart News reported. The Democratic nominee is promising to institute a first-ever national ban on price gouging and price-fixing within her first 100 days in office

I know at the grocery store I see more and more people stocking up. They are scared of what the elections will bring. Yes many I talk to are Trump fans, but don't trust the system any more. The is across all age groups that I talk to. I know if she gets elected, I will be one of the first to hit up the grocery store even more.

Passing a law against the laws of economics is akin to passing a law against gravity. Prices have risen for three reasons: 1. The dollar has been devalued because the democrats keep printing money by reckless spending. 2. Supply has been choked off due to needless regulations or regulations designed to line the pockets of democrat donors. 3. Demand has increased because Harris failed at her border czar duties and allowed millions of illegals (who get massive handouts) into the country Related to no 3, wages are suppressed due to millions of illegals taking jobs at lower pay That’s it.

Not only is she a commie she is a stupid commie. This does not work. They are so faux worried about "democracy" they should try worrying about capitalism. Nice. We will go from expensive food to starvation! Only Stalin and Democrats purposely engineer food crisis by using 'price control' to kill opponents. And let's face it, Democrats hate people that work, pay taxes and vote. Only those on welfare, food stamps, the goobernment dole and for sure Democrat voters will get food during the Harris regime.

Price fixing by industry leads to high prices and stilted competition. Price fixing by gov mandate leads to low prices, empty shelves, and loss of production. Both are wrong…but when the gov does it, they accept no blame for their failure

One contributing factor to high prices is the cost of fuel. Food is delivered to stores by trucks. When the price of fuel for the trucks goes up so does the price of whatever they are delivering. So Our Beloved President Donald Trump has the solution: Drill, drill, drill. I want to see an oil derrick in Nancy Pelosi's back yard.

Chances are the result of Harris’s retail level price control policies, if implemented, will be to put a lot of grocery stores and food restaurants squeezed by high wholesale prices out of business, which will allow the others who remain in business to boost their prices until they also go out of business. Then Harris can start setting up DEI run Soviet style government grocery stores and restaurants where prices will be different for each leftist and progressive Democrat recognized Identity group throughout the US population. The Democrats would then go around with their media allies claiming doing that is just the implementation of their “democracy” throughout the US population.

Democrats always think they can do something that is a proven failure, but since they are so much smarter, it's going to work this time. Nixon, Ford and Carter already tried this and it was an utter failure. I remember price controls on coffee and sugar. There were always shortages towards the end of the price freeze deadline and skyrocketing prices after the deadline. Then they would start it all over again. I guess it is back to 1975 where you have to have inside information on which stations will get a truckload of gasoline today, so you get up before the sun and get in line until the truck gets there around lunch time. Oh boy!

Price gouging? I seriously doubt that. I don't think there are large profit margins in food. Do this and it will likely put farms out of business, and we will have shortages which will increase food prices. I'm from the government and I'm here to help. Yeah, right. People will vote for this. They think the government actually helps them.

Biden/Harris democrats always cry "gouging" to cover for their willful degradation of oil and gas production for the more costly importation of Middle Eastern oil. The democrat's so-called Green movement is a flimsy disguise for their actual Red movement. Authoritarians who create food shortages should be terminated by the people whom they pretend to "serve." Our Constitution places 'The People' as the backstop against any tyrannical government, as it guarantees a "Republican" (representative) form of government in Article 4, Section 4, elected by citizens, and the means to enforce the guarantee was provided by the Second Amendment; however, the unchecked, massive importation of third world subjects, quite intentional, from places like Somalia, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela, and Red China have significantly altered the demographics of those living in the US, the very targets of democrats who are Hell-bent to bestow US citizenship upon their communist/Sharia-centric comrades. This November may be the last chance for we citizens to preserve and protect our Republic by massively outvoting the rising leftist tide in American politics. Kamala represents Obama's "transformation" in action.

1972—price controls on gasoline and long lines to get gas. When prices were allowed to follow the market, the lines disappeared. WW 2– there was the OPA, the Office of Price Administration that controlled prices on everything, with the excuse that it was for the war effort. There was rationing on gasoline and ration books for butter, sugar and milk. I know because I was there! But you could get all you wanted on the Black Market! All it took was more money for what you wanted. So, will ration books with coupons be issued under the Kamala plan? That’s what will happen. She has openly gone full Commie!

If they intend to do that, they might just as well also remove all FDA laws against food adulterants, and also the requirement of listing ingredients in order of percentage of content. Because that's the only way the supply can be stretched far enough to prevent riots.

The United States, Egypt, and Qatar have finalized a cease-fire proposal to halt the ongoing Gaza war between Israel and Hamas after holding discussions in Doha over the last two days. The three nations released a joint statement on Friday announcing that they presented both sides of the conflict with a finalized cease-fire deal, and plan on holding discussions in Cairo next week to conclude the negotiations. The proposal is consistent with the principles President Joe Biden laid out in a three-part cease-fire plan on May 31, the statement says. “This proposal builds on areas of agreement over the past week, and bridges remaining gaps

Vice President Kamala Harris laid out more than a dozen policy proposals on Friday aimed at lowering costs for middle-class Americans and supporting young families, marking her first attempt at laying out an economic agenda since becoming the Democrats’ presumptive presidential nominee. Harris’s campaign unveiled the policy proposals ahead of a speech in North Carolina on Friday afternoon, where she is expected to tout her economic agenda and contrast it with her 2024 GOP rival, former president Donald Trump. The move comes as Republicans have criticized Harris’s campaign for its lack of concrete policy proposals, besides her abandonment of several progressive policies

The Biden-Harris administration is granting citizenship to immigrants at speeds not seen in over a decade while a wholly disinterested mainstream media is doing little more than bragging about it. There was a time in this country when journalists would find stealing an election a topic of interest. A threat to democracy, even. Instead, the New York Times recently published a glowing report indicating that over the first nine months of the fiscal year, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USIS) is averaging under five months to process naturalization applications. That process took almost exactly a year on average in 2021. What could possibly be happening in 2024

Kamala Harris finally came out with a policy position. Her prior one was one that she swiped from her opponent, former President Donald Trump — no tax on tips. Her new policy was going after "price gouging" by corporations, saying that she'd crack down on "excessive prices" and "excessive profits." What qualifies as "excessive"? This smacks of the Soviet Union and communism, in addition to being truly bad policy. In the U.S., the government doesn't control/dictate to private companies. Now, what's pretty funny is that the Washington Post recognized this too, in an op-ed entitled: "When your opponent calls you 'communist,' maybe don't propose price controls?"

Political campaigns are all about trajectory. There’s point A and point B: Where you are today, and where you need to be in November. Your campaign plan bridges the gaps between those two points. Nothing more, nothing less. A campaign plan is a roadmap. But it’s a roadmap of wet, muddy terrain that’s constantly changing. Sometimes, new obstacles appear out of nowhere. And when the terrain changes, so must your roadmap — or you’ll get stuck. Since Biden dropped out, Donald Trump has been following the wrong roadmap and now he’s stuck in the wrong direction.

The Biden-Harris administration’s inflation has destroyed wages as Americans know it, with the average U.S. worker experiencing a 3.9 percent pay cut since the Democrat duo first took office. So, while Americans are paying over 21 percent more for groceries, 48 percent more for car insurance, and with significant increases in rent, electricity, and garbage services, they have experienced a 3.9 percent drop in real wages since Biden-Harris took over.

Sympathetic insiders described a weekend of 'reflection' for the president – who had recently tested postive for COVID and was holed up in isolation with his wife Jill and a handful of trusted aides at the Biden family home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Democrats appear rattled that they could lose Senate, House, and presidential elections if Vice President Kamala Harris is transparent about policy solutions to reverse the administration’s failures. Harris, who has not held an unscripted press conference for 26 days since joining the race, is facing calls to not only remain hidden from the press but to keep her proposed policies a secret as she prepares to deliver economic proposals in North Carolina on Friday. Harris, however, already published several policies, such as socialist-style price controls, subsidies for homeowners, and two policies that copy the Trump-Vance ticket: a child tax credit and no tax on tips.

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Friday on MSNBC’s “All In” that Vice President Kamala Harris laid out a “strong progressive agenda” during her economic speech earlier today. When asked for his reaction to the speech, Sanders said, “I think given the fact she has been a candidate for only three weeks I think she’s doing really really well in a whole lot of ways. I think what she laid out today was a strong progressive agenda. Obviously in the weeks and months to come, I think she will add more specificity to some proposals and she’s going to add to it. I have always believed that good policy is good politics.

This is an official Kamala Harris campaign video. It is hard to say what the point is. Kamala ridicules white people for eating food that isn’t spicy. The commercial is a dialogue between Harris and Tim Walz. Walz plays the white guy who eats “white guy tacos.” Walz is the bottom end of this relationship: he humiliates himself by being subservient to Harris, on behalf of (obviously inferior) white people: (X) Playing to idiotic racial stereotypes is commonly known as racism. One wonders how Walz’s fellow Minnesotans will react to his claim that we don’t eat any spices more exotic than pepper. The whole thing is puzzling. Other than reassuring voters

This is because American schools are choosing to emphasize social justice and progressive talking points instead. The College Fix reports: College students lack ‘rudimentary’ knowledge of history, civics: survey – [Snip] ...a civic literacy assessment recently conducted by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni. [Snip] Historian and Hillsdale College Professor Wilfred McClay told The Fix in a recent email he was both “appalled and saddened” by another finding from the survey that found 57 percent of students would flee the country rather than stay and fight in the case of an invasion. “This reflects a social malady, a sickness of the soul, that runs deeper

The Secret Service is providing Kimberly Cheatle, its former director who resigned last month, a security detail in an unprecedented effort to protect a former agency chief amid lingering national anger about the myriad security lapses under her watch that led to the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump and the killing of firefighter Corey Comperatore, according to three sources in the Secret Service community. (snip) The Bidens are close to Cheatle from her time protecting Biden on the vice presidential detail. First lady Jill Biden helped select her for the director role in 2022,
