Former President Donald Trump told Tesla CEO and X/Twitter owner Elon Musk during an interview on X Spaces on Monday evening that he was “more of a believer” in God after the assassination attempt on his life last month. “I’m a believer now,” Trump said. “I’m more of a believer, I think. A lot of people have said that.” During the live interview with Musk on X on Monday, which started late after a distributed denial of service attack (DDOS) on X’s servers, Trump spoke about the moment Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13 from the rooftop of a nearby building, where he

I love Breitbart articles that have audio; this one only had the first sentence on audio. (So I'll just take that personally.) I was watching that rally on TV and hollering out a few prayers that day. They got answered, too.

I was listening to this revealing interview. I am really glad I stuck with it as it was LONG. This comment was not disappointing to me, hard as so many of us are praying for this man. He is of a generation that does not reveal those innermost things easily. I am not concerned that on this one subject, Trump just does not get specific in an interview. I know God has already done a mighty work in him and it is only getting started.

No matter how many times the Dems lie, cheat or steal, I hold on to the fact that God saved Trump for a reason, and I am pretty sure that reason was not for him to lose to a pro-abortion liberal. Keep praying and let God take care of the party that worships power.

When JD Vance was in Michigan today, the owner of a local trucking company was given a chance to speak and he slammed the economy and inflation produced by the Biden/Harris administration. He said that his company has tried to expand and to give their workers raises but that it hasn’t been possible. He then said that he wants to get Trump elected with JD Vance as his VP. Working people know who will be better for the economy and it’s not Kamala Harris. WLNS News has more on Vance’s remarks at the event: Watch: (X Video)

Earlier this week, crooked New York Judge Juan Merchan rejected a recusal request for the third time in Trump’s “hush money” case. The dirty judge’s decision was released to the public on Wednesday. Judge Merchan’s daughter’s platform made tens of millions of dollars from her father’s case against Trump. President Trump is STILL under a partial gag order in the case. Can someone please explain how this is legal? And why are Republicans not outraged by this criminal lawfare against the party’s presidential candidate?

The Taliban terrorist organization celebrated the third anniversary of President Joe Biden facilitating its return to power in Afghanistan on Wednesday, hosting a large military parade on the former U.S. air base site at Bagram featuring U.S.-made equipment and welcoming envoys from Iran and China. August 15 will mark three years since the fundamentalist Taliban terror group stormed Kabul, the nation’s capital, while then-President Ashraf Ghani fled in a helicopter. The Afghan military had collapsed by then, leading to a nearly bloodless takeover of the government for the Taliban. The Taliban remains at press time the uncontested government of Afghanistan, though no country recognizes it as such in an official capacity.

Throughout her political career, Vice President Kamala Harris has taken time during speeches and public events to define events or issues that most people are already familiar with. It's a strange phenomenon that's now following Harris as she hits the 2024 presidential campaign trail in the place of Joe Biden, who spectacularly dropped out of the race last month. Harris has a unique style of dumbing down her answers to the point they become more confusing to the general public and often throwing in an awkward laugh.

With Kamala Harris becoming a rock star by inviting rock stars to open her act, it’s clear she’s focused on generating excitement through pure fluff. But whereas Harris captures headlines with showmanship, Donald Trump has an opportunity to resonate deeply with a far more substantial and often overlooked voting bloc: those who have paid into the Social Security system. If Trump zeroes in on this group, he can unlock a political goldmine that could propel him back into the White House. In what even the New York Times admits could be a game-changer, Trump has proposed ending income taxes on Social Security benefits.

A majority of the spending surge was driven by lucrative contracts with big-name consulting firms and high-salaried, remote positions for Sasse’s former U.S. Senate staff and Republican officials.

My dad, like a great number of young men, was drafted into the military in early 1942. Was spending the next three and a half years in the jungles of the Pacific fighting the Japanese the way he would have preferred to spend that time?
