The Secret Service is an agency besieged right now. What happened on July 13 that allowed former President Donald Trump to be shot in Butler, Pennsylvania? How was it that the rooftop overlooking the rally site was left unprotected? Congress wants answers. The American people deserve answers. And this agency has followed a protocol where these crucial questions remain on the table. Thomas Matthew Crooks nearly assassinated Donald Trump that day. And we have received numerous updates—all bad—about the total breakdown of the security situation at the rally.

Bottom line? Jill Biden should have had no authority to pull the most experienced agents off Trump's detail. I am as yet unwilling to believe that these men and women were part of some plot to kill Trump - but I could easily believe that 'Dr.' Jill might have been involved.

The SS did exactly what they were told to do on July 13.

“The site agent, the lead agent, was known to the Trump campaign to be inexperienced, to be ineffectual, to be, frankly, incompetent at their job,” Hawley said. “I’m also told by whistleblowers that on that day, she was not enforcing the normal security protocols.”
"She was not checking people’s IDs. She did not use Secret Service agents,” Hawley added. “Most of the agents there that day were not Secret Service agents. They were Homeland Security agents.”
This has been going on for weeks. WHO IS SHE?

We're a month past the attempt, and we're still trying to get answers? Give up. If you're no closer to finding answers after a month, then you're not going to find anything until the country's tri-centennial.

It's not an easy job protecting a VIP but you should not be there if you are not up to it. There is nothing more boring than having to stay awake on a quiet 12 hour shift but it is imperative that you do. Take a walk around the area, get some coffee. Do not sit down. Look at the stars if you need something to keep your brain functioning. Study the area with your NVGs. If you fail you are putting people in danger, including yourself. If an SS agent is caught sleeping he should be dismissed immediately.

The incompetence of the Trump USSS detachment is the shiny doodad we are supposed to focus on.
A much more basic question is who shot DJT? There were several rifles fired from different locations. The incel was 30° out of position to hit DJT on the right side of his head. Somebody(s) at a very high level is trying their best to mask the reality of what really happened. This makes me think they are going to try something again.

It sounds like Cheatle’s reign as head of the USSS was much, much more damaging than anyone could have imagined.

It was "Rosie" who couldn't get her gun in the holster. DEI hire I'm sure.

It's just a coincidence that all the newbies, incompetents, fools and DEI slackers were assigned to Trump, right?

I wonder when the report will be made public about when and who made the decision to have the FBI service to "stand down" any time an agent was assigned to Trump detail?

In any workforce, if hard work is not rewarded, and is instead replaced with political or social actions, there is always a negative impact. The longer the situation is allowed, the worse things get. People don't like working hard only to be push aside by lightweights.

The article is distressing but I am not surprised at any of it. Look at the first photo at top of the Townhall article. Look at those three “agents” on duty. It is not the first time I have noticed SS agents that look sloppily attired and just plain not what one should expect. I mean, my small town Texas Sheriff deputies are always more sharply attired than that!
The fact that this is a stressful job excuses none of these mistakes and incompetence. Too bad, suck it up. They are well-paid with amazing benefits. If you can’t hack it, resign. What on earth is the matter with us ??

If you have been paying attention since that apparent try by the “nut job” to blow Trump’s head off and after pretty obvious threats uttered by Biden aimed at Trump like “it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye” and other crude remarks by Biden aimed at Trump after the shooting, you have to figure that the Biden crew provided Trump with the least amount of personal Secret Service protection that they thought that they could getaway with, and that the principle Secret Service supervisors, whose identities are being kept confidential, and who would have planned the Secret Service/local law enforcement security for the Trump Butler, PA, rally, which proved to be incompetent, may well have been so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) promotes, as that factor appears to be most important aspect of the Biden crew’s promotion criteria.

Because every appointment by the Biden admin, at every level, in every department, has been based on Wokeism, and not on competency, there is no question whatsoever that that same agenda has driven their Secret Service appointments.
Buttigieg, as Secretary of Transportation? What, because his 8-yr stint as mayor of South Bend prepped him for the job? Or maybe he's so smart he's in the class of a savant?
Or Jennifer Granholm, as Secretary of Energy, who had never previously held any job in any related field?
Or Lloyd Austin, as SecDef, whose obsession with ineffective Covid masks and face shields all but proves he is incapable of critical thinking?
Or the entire admin, for foisting on America a senile, demented POTUS, while actively shielding America from his mental incapacity to govern?
If America does not hold these bozos accountable, the country is doomed.
