You can count on the media and your fellow travelers to justify your words and actions, minimize their impact, or even make them disappear on command. This is particularly true if you happen to be a high-ranking member of the progressive movement — especially an elected one. But Ilhan Omar, Jamaal Bowman, and the ever-effervescent AOC are facing a class-action lawsuit by a group of anonymous Columbia students for stoking the fires of antisemitism at the school earlier this year.

Politically speaking, I've never been more happy to be wrong. For the better part of a week, all signs pointed to Josh Shapiro being the vice presidential choice for Kamala Harris. Never mind that he, by far, made the most electoral sense.
Shapiro is a popular governor in the must-win state of Pennsylvania. Had he been on the ticket, it would have been an exceptionally difficult obstacle for Donald Trump to overcome. Yet, in a surprise move, Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, almost certainly because Shapiro is Jewish and the far-left antisemites in the Democratic Party have been in the middle of throwing a fit over his possible selection.
There's been a lot of reaction to Kamala Harris's selection of Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) as her running mate, and one of my favorites comes from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who destroyed Tim Walz and his abysmal record as governor of Minnesota.
"We all remember the [Black Lives Matter] riots of 2020 in Minneapolis," he said during a press conference in Steinhatchee, Fla., on Tuesday morning. "Those were riots that Harris egged on and raised money to bail out the rioters with the Minnesota bail fund. And they were riots that Tim Waltz, as governor, sat back and let happen. He sat back and let the city of Minneapolis burn.
President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that Joe Biden will attempt to reclaim the Democratic nomination after it was “stolen” by Kamala Harris.
This comment comes in light of recent announcements confirming Harris’s position as the Democrat presidential nominee, following a controversial series of events leading to Biden’s abrupt withdrawal from the 2024 race.
Last week, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison announced that Harris has amassed enough delegates to secure her place at the top of the ticket, with final results expected to be confirmed on Monday.
Despite never winning a primary election, Harris has now found herself positioned as the official Democrat nominee.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.), a staunch supporter of the MAGA movement, was targeted by federal authorities just days after securing a hard-fought victory in the Republican primary against a RINO challenger.
The raid, reported by local outlet WTVF on Tuesday.
Ogles’ attorney, G. Kline Preston IV, refused to confirm or deny the search, stating, “I’m not going to confirm or deny that there was a search warrant issued.” Similarly, the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee declined to comment on the matter.

A federal complaint unsealed on Tuesday in Brooklyn has charged Asif Merchant, also known as “Asif Raza Merchant,” a 46-year-old Pakistani national, with murder-for-hire in connection with a foiled assassination plot targeting a politician or U.S. government officials on American soil.
