The U.S. economy created fewer jobs than expected while the unemployment rate increased, signaling that the labor market could be going through a rapid deceleration at a time when the Federal Reserve could soon be cutting interest rates. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), there were 114,000 new jobs in July, down from 179,000 in June. This fell short of the consensus estimate of 175,000. The unemployment rate rose to 4.3 percent, up from 4.1 percent, and higher than economists’ expectations of 4.1 percent. This represents the highest jobless rate since October 2021.

Dems pushing hard for more inflation, while the Fed is trying to moderate inflation. Nothing good happens when this kind of insanity happens. Like pouring kerosene onto a house fire with one hose and water with the other.

Looking back fondly or nostalgia to my first three decades when you had to compete for jobs with a moving company carrying boxes, waiting on tables or mowing lawns. Presently, you are fortunate to find anyone willing or able to do these jobs. Even at once unbelievable compensation. Long ago and far away.

It's much worse than the numbers indicate. Not counted in the ranks of the unemployed are the millions of basement dwellers, bums with useless degrees, welfare queens, those not looking for work and government workers hired by Biden so he could claim that he created jobs. Attemps at manipulation by this administration are dishonest and pathetic.

I'm not much for measuring inflation movement...but...I ran my own business for many years and when the government steps into the business world...something always goes wrong....bidenomics has fractured the business in this country...and no amount of managing the numbers will change that...so folks...watch out for a "bumpy ride".....

A Thursday recount by Virginia officials determined that House Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good narrowly lost his reelection bid to former state Sen. John McGuire during the commonwealth’s recent primary elections. The final results from the Good-requested recount confirmed McGuire won the battle to become the GOP nominee for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District by 370 votes. That’s four votes fewer than the 374 vote-lead McGuire had following the state’s initial tally of the June 18 race. The former state senator will now face Democrat Gloria Witt this November.

Another day, another bundle of noncitizen voter registrations discovered on state voting rolls. But there’s still nothing to see here — so say the left and their election integrity-denying accomplices in corporate media. On Thursday, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced he was directing local elections officials to remove nearly 500 foreign national registrations from Ohio’s voter rolls. The suspected illegal registrations were detected as part of a statewide audit of Ohio’s voter registration database.

Illegal aliens do not need to vote (per se’), they only need to exist in a captured state database as physical persons. Their personage is then shifted to voter rolls, that then generate ballots. Any state or federal system that links a physical identity to the secretary of state voter rolls is good. Any system, like the USPS postal change of address system, that would remove physical identities from the state voter rolls is not useful. The goal is to maximize the number of systems that generate registration, that eventually generates ballots. Beyond the Driver’s License/State ID issue (motor-voter), it’s everything. The t*t-for-tat will take place in the open, yet few will pay attention. We do. You have to take this announcement in full context: (1) Sanctions against Russia failed. (2) NATO expanded, creating more provocation. (3) NATO pledged Ukraine NATO membership. (4) Biden then pledged new long-range missiles will be located in Germany in 2026 able to reach all of Russia. (5) Russia sailed a nuclear submarine into Cuba; and (6) Yesterday, Vladimir Putin pledged to put nuclear weapons close to the USA (likely Cuba) if Biden puts long-range missiles in Germany. OK, that’s the escalation timeline. That’s the lead up to this next announcement.

The exoneration of Barr came more than four years after a deluge of media reports alleging wrongdoing. However, J.P. Well, it told me that at the time of the 2020 election, there were 168 million registered voters. 81+74+3=158 158 is 94% of 168.

U.S. oil and gas giant Chevron announced Friday it will relocate its corporate headquarters from its long-time location in San Ramon, California to Houston, Texas in the coming months. In a release, the company said chairman and CEO Mike Wirth and vice-chairman Mark Nelson will relocate to Houston by the end of this year, with remaining headquarters employees to make a gradual migration over the next five years. Employees who support the company’s remaining California operations will remain in San Ramon. Currently, Chevron has 2,000 employees in California, and 7,000 in various Texas locations. Friday’s announcement seems symbolic of the diminishing presence of both Chevron and the oil industry itself in California.

Two years ago, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris touted their “Chips Act” to bring the semiconductor industry back home from Taiwan, China and Singapore. The price tag on the bill: a cool $280 billion of corporate handouts. It was arguably the largest corporate welfare bill in American history. Intel, Micron, Global Foundries, Polar Semiconductor, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Samsung, BAE Systems, and Microchip Technology have been the direct beneficiaries of the law. This was supposed to be one of the “Crown Jewels” of the Biden-Harris admin. A massive job creator that would allow America to take back its technological leadership.
