Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., criticized the Biden administration’s handling of Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro, arguing that it has fed his regime’s strongman image and emboldened him in his more authoritarian aims. "In my view, it strengthened them internally, and I think gave him the boldness to say: I can get away with this now," Rubio argued. "I'll be condemned. They’ll snap back some sanctions, people will say mean things about me, but in a few months… 2 million more people will leave Venezuela. I'll put some people in jail and crack down on them,

The past 48 hours have been the most dramatic and consequential of any since Hamas’s war against Israel began on October 7, 2023. More than that: they could reverse the momentum of this war which, until now, has been dictated by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies. On July 30, as the sun began to set in Beirut, Israel launched a precision air strike on Fuad Shukr, a senior Hezbollah military commander. The strike took place in the Dahiyeh neighborhood, which is Hezbollah’s stronghold in the city.

Our adversaries fear strong presidents and will either try to keep them from office or yield to the inevitable. That may explain the events of the last two weeks. On July 19, 2024, at the RNC convention, Donald J. Trump accepted the Republican nomination for President. During his speech, he said: To the entire world, I tell you this: We want our hostages back, and they better be back before I assume office, or you will be paying a very big price.” There are more than 60 Americans being held hostage or wrongly detained around the world.

When CNN calls out a Democrat for lying, it’s worth sitting up and taking notice. That’s just what happened last week, after Kamala Harris’ first campaign rally. “Donald Trump wants to take our country backward,” she said in Milwaukee. “He and his extreme Project 2025 agenda. Like, we know we got to take this seriously. And can you believe they put that thing in writing? Read it. It’s 900 pages. “When you read it,” she goes on, “you will see Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare. They intend to end the Affordable Care Act and take us back,

Since April and before Democrats replaced Biden as their nominee, Republicans have grown by 34,045 voter registrations in Pennsylvania, while Independents (many of whom will vote for Trump) increased by 41,475. Democrat voter registrations fell by 2,214 during this recent period. Democrats’ new ticket for president has a problem in Pennsylvania, without which Democrats cannot win the presidency. Kamala Harris is unsuited to become president, as illustrated by a recent study.
President Trump Announces New Policy Proposal

This is a very significant policy proposal. President Trump is supporting a position that Seniors should not pay taxes on Social Security income. This comes on the heels of President Trump supported policy that income received from service tips should not be taxed. Combined, both of these policies would result in massive numbers of middle-class Americans having more money in their bank accounts. The national economic benefits of these two combined policies are extremely significant and could actually offset the financial damage done by Joe Biden. The timing of this announcement coincides with President Trump visiting Chicago.

So, Kamala Harris is the new Democratic candidate for president. And, we’ve been told, she is incredible. Not merely serviceable, a middle innings relief pitcher brought in when your starter suddenly implodes in the third inning. She is the Mariano Rivera of politics. She’s lights-out. She’s charismatic, fascinating, quick on her feet, charming. She is, in the words of the legacy media, a historic candidate—not just because she’s a black woman, a fact that explains her lightning-fast political ascent but that only Democrats are allowed to mention, and only then in the context of explaining why America requires a black female president—but because she is, apparently, so good at this.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran by what the terrorist group said was an airstrike carried out by Israel early Wednesday morning as Iran’s Supreme Leader has vowed revenge. Haniyeh, who was one of the most senior Hamas officials, was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s new president when he was killed, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards announced. The Revolutionary Guards did not comment on how or who killed Haniyeh, but Hamas pointed the finger at Israel, stating the leader was killed “in a Zionist airstrike on his residence in Tehran after he participated in the inauguration of Iran’s new president.”

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has said she no longer endorses a ban on fracking, but political strategists and energy experts say the sudden policy shift will do little to move the needle with key voters in November. Harris said in 2020 there is “no question” she would end fracking if elected president, but her campaign recently told The Hill she no longer wants to outlaw the practice after videos of her endorsing a ban resurfaced following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race. The campaign can walk back Harris’ old fracking position as it pleases,

Kamala Harris is enjoying a honeymoon of sorts — the media handmaidens are giddy with excitement over her TikTok coconut memes. She is girl power personified, the female Obama, a strutting, dancing, exuberant Wonder Woman gushing on the phone with her besties Michelle and Barack. The belated endorsement by the Obamas caught on camera and pumped out on social media in a cringe-inducing campaign video last week was typical of her terminal inauthenticity and social ineptitude. The two Obamas haughtily uttered 55 words between them and were on the phone for a total of 20 seconds, but Kamala cooed and gushed so effusively you would think she had just won an Oscar.

There is a Cheat Machine out there. It worked in the 2020 general election and it's no doubt gearing up again for another run. (Snip) What could the Census Bureau tell me about the results of the 2020 presidential election? Well, it told me quite a bit. It told me that Joseph R. Biden received 81 million votes, and it told me that Donald J. Trump received 74 million votes. Three million people also voted for the Communists, the Greens, or themselves. Well, it told me that at the time of the 2020 election, there were 168 million registered voters. 81+74+3=158 158 is 94% of 168.
Chevron Taking Its Headquarters To Texas 14 replies

U.S. oil and gas giant Chevron announced Friday it will relocate its corporate headquarters from its long-time location in San Ramon, California to Houston, Texas in the coming months. In a release, the company said chairman and CEO Mike Wirth and vice-chairman Mark Nelson will relocate to Houston by the end of this year, with remaining headquarters employees to make a gradual migration over the next five years. Employees who support the company’s remaining California operations will remain in San Ramon. Currently, Chevron has 2,000 employees in California, and 7,000 in various Texas locations. Friday’s announcement seems symbolic of the diminishing presence of both Chevron and the oil industry itself in California.

As job growth has been one of the chimerical accomplishments that Old Joe and his henchmen have most often touted as evidence of the “success” of the regime, this was the last thing the woman whom we now all love and admire wanted to hear.

Two years ago, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris touted their “Chips Act” to bring the semiconductor industry back home from Taiwan, China and Singapore. The price tag on the bill: a cool $280 billion of corporate handouts. It was arguably the largest corporate welfare bill in American history. Intel, Micron, Global Foundries, Polar Semiconductor, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, Samsung, BAE Systems, and Microchip Technology have been the direct beneficiaries of the law. This was supposed to be one of the “Crown Jewels” of the Biden-Harris admin. A massive job creator that would allow America to take back its technological leadership.
