Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe testified before the Senate Judiciary and Senate Homeland Security Committees Tuesday in a joint hearing on the assassination attempt of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.
During the hearing Acting Director Rowe said it was “unfair persecution” to relieve officials who were responsible for the breakdown of security at the Trump Butler rally where President Trump was shot and another man was murdered.
Senator Hawley: Is that the person who is in charge of the interoperability of radio frequencies between local law enforcement and secret service? Has that person been relieved of duty?

Government writes laws that allows squatters in YOUR house sue you if they are injured or you don't fix problems.
Government official cries and plays the victim if someone gets MURDERED on his watch.
These people are scum.

Another hearing with no new information. The Acting Director of the SS is defensive, and doesn't listen, posturing, instead of interviewing the agents that were there. It has been a couple of weeks, and this guy still pretends not to know basic facts.

Kinda interesting he brought up the Texas Book Suppository. So far nothing has been done to Trumps detail and every single member of that fateful day in Days was FIRED! Every single one. At a minimum, the entire detail should be placed on administrative leave pending the investigation. Imagine there was a true personal failure on the Trump team. Do we want to have that person working on another high profile goobernment official pending an investigation? Isn't that in and of itself a potential security breach? Until we know the facts, all should be placed on leave. Not fired but on leave until we know the 'root cause' of a horrible event that could have rocked the world.

The new director said it was too hot on that roof, so they didn't go up there. First, it was too steep now too hot. The gunman didn't have any problem? Why didn't they first protect that building from anyone going up there? They need professional integrators to question the government's employers, not politicians.

“People will be held accountable.” That’s one of the biggest lies that our government tells us. We STILL don’t know who ordered our military to stand down during Benghazi.
BTW, ted Cruz chopped Rowe into what the Brits call “mince”. It was a thing of beauty.

Truth be known, he's the problem. Fire this pos. and the several layers of incompetence below him. Find the SS guy who wrote the letter. Put him in charge and watch things get sorted.

The US Secret Service has a staff of 7,000 and an over $3 billion per year budget, yet still does not have the "bandwidth" to protect a handful of people?

I honestly do not think we'll ever get the whole real account. Unfortunately no one will be accountable.
It will be move along folks nothing to see here.
Don't be surprised if more "instances" occur.

What degree of persecution would be fair? It is not persecution at all to fire incompetent personnel, including Mr. Rowe.

The job for the person in charge (PIC) of the secret service at the Butler event was safety. The safety of the President Trump as well as all the attendees, all the secret service personnel and other police at the event.
After the PIC sets up an event, he/she reviews the communications with everyone. He/she then gets off his/her ass and walks the site checking on everything and everyone. It was not a large site. Less then 10 minutes to walk around with no stops. Probably 30 minutes with conversations with personnel.
The secret service was in charge, and did not talk with local police. This is not uncommon with the secret service. They can then lie about it. Which concerning the Butler tragedy, they have.

I was happy for America for house and senate hearing. Seeing democrats and Republicans ripping into usss and fbi as dart boards.

We found out that the buck doesn't stop with Rowe either. Fire his hind end. Listen to Bongino about Rowe. He's as bad as the Cheatle.

The director already resigned, that's a good start.
What he says makes sense. But once the investigation is done, it seems lije somebody should go.

LEOs who are involved in a fatal shooting get put on administrative leave or non-field duties with their weapons confiscated. If this poseur cannot immediately identify the decision makers who were on site and suspend them, then he needs to go right now, too. "Doing the investigation with integrity" is simply code for covering up and hiding the identities and saving the jobs of those who failed in their duty thru ignorance, malice, or incompetence.

I must have missed that question. I saw a mr. Rowe crawl for forgiveness From that point on, especially after Sen. Kenney used him for his humorous attacks.

No sympathy for any SS agents. These are prestigious positions. They are well-paid and no excuses should be accepted for such outrageous stupidity. I have been glad to see a few House Republicans basically come out and say it. It seems like a group of tough County Sheriffs could have done a far better job that day in Butler, PA. One thing these government snipers seem to always get right. Oswald was killed, just like Jack Ruby was killed and this Crooks kid was very expertly immediately killed so he could never talk. Gee, they sure are 100% accurate in their jobs when they want to be.
Nobody gets fired in this government. Three thousand people incinerated LIVE on 9/11 and not one idiot got fired. Uvalde Texas school massacre still has the truth being covered up, few resignations and weird silence. Law enforcement being protected and nobody turned in their badge. We have a real crisis in integrity and honesty at all levels of government.

Back in my military days, if we " failed" to do out job, we were relieved of our position, security clearance, authority to bear arms were pulled, investigated and depending on the severity, courts martialed and sent to prison.
