A Boston-bound United Airlines flight was diverted on Sunday mid-air over a 'biohazard' issue. United Airlines flight 2477 departed from Houston at 9:39 a.m. CT on Sunday destined for Boston, but was forced to reroute when a customer became sick, the airline told DailyMail.com. The plane, a Boeing 737-800, was diverted to Washington Dulles International Airport, landing at 1:36 p.m. ET, according to FlightAware. 'Especially with this kind of being a biohazard, I think we need to get this plane on the ground ASAP,' a pilot on board said to air traffic control in audio shared on X.

The airline needs to bring back their old slogan, “Fly the Friendly Skies of United”.

C'mon, DM. Airsickness is not a "disgusting act" which implies willfulness. I still recall wgen an entire Coach section erupted into applause when a baby, abused by ignorant pare nts for crying when her ears hurt on descent, vomited all over both parents just before landing.

Agreed, #2 - misleading headline to garner clicks, which is what the DM is all about. So now, vomit is a biohazard? And if it is, then the flight attendendants need only distribute N95 masks to everyone. If they protect against Covid (that's what we were told), then...

It's been a while since I have flown, but don't they still put barf nags in the slot behind the seats? I know I have filled a few of them back when I flew on the older piston engine flights.

Okay... so something of a bio nature happened on the plane. As a mother, projectile vomiting and underpants smothered in the unmentionable are old hat. This is why we always bring a change of clothes! We have had many accidents on planes. Our youngest vomited up an incredible amount of pasta on one trans-Atlantic (thankfully as we were landing). Air sick bags, get a pile of them. Our flight crew was awesome with moist towels and moral support. What kind of "biohazard" required this kind of action? Or is this another instance of an unqualified (younger generation) flight crew not being able to handle what would be just the norm for a flight crew a decade plus ago?

I regularly flew to and from Moscow in the 2000s. On the trips from Moscow there were very often a large number of infants, recently adopted out of Russian orphanages. Selling children was a big business for the Russians in those days. By the last three or four hours of the flight....the entire rear portion of the cabin smelled like a huge dirty diaper. Not a pleasant ride. Nobody got hysterical and landed the airplane.

It's one of the wealthiest states in America, with residents of its fanciest zip code luxuriating in $3 million red-brick apartments. But the writing is on the wall for Massachusetts, says an alarming new study. The 50,000 non-legal migrants who've entered the state since Joe Biden became president are putting a costly strain on schools, healthcare, and other services. Jessica Vaughan, author of the report for the Center for Immigration Studies, says the state is destined for bankruptcy. That's because migrants will drain state coffers of a staggering $1.8 trillion over the next two years.

Norah O’Donnell will leave the anchor chair at last-place “CBS Evening News” after the 2024 presidential election amid expected cost-cutting by parent Paramount, the network said Tuesday. O’Donnell, who took over the seat in 2019, re-upped her contract with CBS News in 2022 — despite speculation that the she would be replaced. Her salary, however, was rumored to be substantially slashed from the $8 million a year when she was hired, as The Post exclusively reported. The show’s ratings have also been in the tank during her five years in the anchor seat — plunging roughly 25% and cementing the newscast firmly behind rivals at ABC and NBC.

On July 30, 2024, over two weeks after the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate said the agency still does not know how the would-be alleged assassin got a rifle onto the roof from which he fired. Sen. Laphonza Butler (D-CA) asked Abbate if the agency knew how the 20-year-old would-be assassin was able to get the rifle onto the roof. Abbate responded, “We don’t have definitive evidence yet as to how he got the rifle up there. Based on everything that’s been collected thus far — photos, video, eyewitness accounts — we do believe he likely had it in the backpack.”

The establishment media are suggesting that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is deporting more illegal aliens than former President Donald Trump did, even as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data shows otherwise. Politico, for example, seemingly credits Biden for Title 42 — the public health order that Trump first used as a border control during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. Biden, in May 2023, ended Title 42.Though Politico notes that Title 42 expulsions at the United States-Mexico border are different from deportations of illegal aliens from the U.S. interior, the report later conflates the two to claim that Biden and Harris have

Democrats just revealed their true, sick political nature with their cynical push to remake the Supreme Court. Indeed, they showed just how far they’re willing to go to take down Donald Trump and win an election. And that they are the real threat to democracy and America’s political system. The plan, rolled out by President Biden and Veep Kamala Harris, would impose 18-year term limits on justices, essentially, a plan to pack the court with liberals. They’d subject justices to a code of conduct you can bet will be used similarly against justices they dislike. Plus, they want more limits on presidential immunity after the Supreme Court reminded them that, under the Constitution,

Twenty-six years ago, a young man named Matthew Shepard was beaten and strung up on a Wyoming barbed wire fence to die. The beating and murder were because Shepard was gay. The perps were quickly found, tried for murder, convicted, and sentenced to prison. They’re still there. It was a good news story about bad news and was widely reported. But it wasn’t true. It has since been shown that Shepard and one of the perps were in the drug business together. Shepard was due to receive a $10,000 shipment of meth. The perp himself was gay and had been in a gay relationship with Shepard.
