Child predators follow a common playbook: target the victim, gain their trust, fill a need, and, crucially, isolate the child from her parents. For several years, this has also been standard California state protocol with regard to schoolchildren questioning their gender identities. On Monday, this scheme became law.
The “SAFETY Act,” AB 1955, signed by California Democratic governor Gavin Newsom, legally forbids schools from adopting any policy that would force them to disclose “any information related to a pupil’s sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression to any other person without the pupil’s consent.”

Adidas has pulled images of the model Bella Hadid from adverts promoting a sports shoe first launched to coincide with the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.
The German-based sportswear company said it was “revising” its campaign after criticism from Israel over Hadid’s involvement.
The SL72 trainers, described by Adidas as a timeless classic, were promoted by Hadid, an American whose family has its roots in Palestine. The model, who previously drew the ire of the Israeli government for allegedly chanting the slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”, has been accused of antisemitism.

Rep. Mike Walt (R-FL) took no prisoners going on CNN to shred the network’s notoriously unreliable and shoddy fact-checker Daniel Dale, who said the Republican congressman’s electric tank remarks were “pure fiction” at the Republican National Convention, which wrapped on Thursday Rep. Waltz went back on CNN, brought the facts, and embarrassed the network’s fact-checking department for being nothing more than Democratic Party operatives. The Florida Republican said that there was no way Dale could have analyzed the U.S. Army’s budget in the timeframe, which ended with him smearing the congressman as a liar. Waltz rightly shredded Dale for misleading the public

Well after 50 years from the end of the Civil War, black Americans in much of the country were not allowed to enter the homes of whites by the front door. Black men could be lynched for looking a white woman in the face. Schools, restaurants and even drinking fountains were all segregated.Today, no such legal discrepancies exist. Yes, fringe actors still show that vestiges of racism remain and maybe always will. Yet even though Americans of all races mingle peaceably, the income gap between white and black Americans stubbornly persists. Racism itself can no longer provide a satisfactory answer.

President Biden is digging in his heels and vowing to get “back on the campaign trail next week” despite mounting calls from Democrats to stand down — even reportedly lashing out at his party’s leaders and accusing them of helping Donald Trump get elected in 2016 when they cast him aside to boost Hillary Clinton.
Former President Barack Obama, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and New York Sen. Chuck Schumer are just three of the powerful Dems who have apparently counseled Biden, 81, to throw in the towel.

Hamas, designated a terror group by Western nations, is an Islamist fundamentalist group whose 1988 Covenant openly supports a Sharia law-based paradisical Caliphate free of non-believers and a world free of Jews (end of Article 7).
Despite Israel's compliance with humanitarian concerns, rules of war, and attempts to avoid Palestinian civilian deaths, the perception remains that Israel should be the one to make concessions for a ceasefire, not Hamas, which should immediately release the hostages it took.

Peter Navarro left federal prison in Miami earlier this morning and flew to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to deliver a speech on the “injustice” within Biden’s America.
When Navarro walked onto the stage at the RNC Convention the entire audience erupted in cheers, applause and chants of, “fight, fight, fight.” A smiling Navarro seemed genuinely moved by the audience appreciation as he begins to deliver his remarks REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION FOCUSES ON 'MAKE

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told President Biden in a private conversation that polling indicates he can’t beat Donald Trump in the 2024 election, according to a report.
Pelosi also conveyed to Biden, 81, that his continued presidential re-election campaign could destroy Democrats’ chances of winning the House in November, four sources told CNN.
The California congresswoman referred to several polls showing that Trump would beat the incumbent during their private conversation, the report said.

The debate around whether President Biden should withdraw from the presidential race was put on pause in the immediate aftermath of the attempted assassination on former President Trump.
Democrats have quieted the public pressure on Biden, resigned to the fact that the president will be the nominee, with close to 100 days remaining before Election Day. Still, while the party remains at odds about Biden continuing in the race, many felt like blowing up the ticket at this late stage of the campaign would be a risky bet and wouldn’t necessarily help the Democratic Party prevail in November.

Here we are, the Monday immediately following the attempt on the life of Donald Trump, but for those who were hoping to begin their day with the sane and sober reflections on this event from the capable crew on “Morning Joe”, they were met with dismay. “Morning Joe” was not on the air! We were not treated to the calm and introspective wisdom from Mr. Scarborough, the balanced and thoughtful reflections from his paramour Mika Brzezinski, and the fulfilling commentary from the wizened panel and rotating slate of Algonquin-level thinkers.

Last week, I had the unenviable task of explaining who the “Hawk Tuah” girl is to my curious Boomer mother.
This week, it will be Amber Rose, thanks to her primetime speech at the Republican National Convention on Monday night.
Yes, that Amber Rose.
The former stripper-turned-video vixen who truly arrived as a pop-culture figure on the arm of Kanye West, whom she dated from 2008 to 2010. The mixed-race mother of two was married to rapper Wiz Khalifa and hosts “SlutWalks,” which are feminist events to promote sex positivity and protest gender inequality.
She’s flashy and wears clothing so tight, it could be painted on.

That Iran can, through hostage-taking and extortion, force countries such as the United States, Belgium and Sweden to hand over a convicted criminal who has clearly violated international law shows that gangster methods, used by the Iranian mullahs and others, evidently carry more weight than international law.
This blackmail essentially teaches rogue states that through violence and extortion they can get Western states to make concessions, massive payments, and to de-prioritize and deviate from international law.
