Former President Donald Trump spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the phone, ostensibly for the first time since leaving office in January 2021. As his chances of victory in the November election appear to grow, some world leaders have started making limited overtures to Trump in preparation for a possible second presidency. One of these has been Zelensky, who is heavily reliant on the United States for support in its war with Russia. Both parties said the call was productive.Trump said Zelensky congratulated him on winning the Republican nomination for president and condemned the “heinous assassination attempt” last Saturday. He also, according to the former president, “remarked about

# 2 - I think he was wise to take the call. He'll see where Zelensky is coming from and we know Trump can handle money. He won't be sending billions to this losing situation.

Were the Vindamin brothers on the call? And what's the "whistleblower" who cannot be named (Eric somebody?) been up to? Adam Schiff wants to check on how to schedule time in the basement SCIF in the House. Force of habit, of course.

Zelensky can read the writing on the wall. Trump, unlike Biden, is not going to hand the Ukraine a blank check for a war they cannot win. Additionally, Trump will restart American oil production, which will create a loss of revenue for Putin, putting a strain on his military spending.

That Donald Trump could even talk to zelinski without inserting just one word between "go" and "yourself" is remarkable. The receiver of the perfect phone call which got Trump impeached. But note: zelinski has moved on from biden. That is significant. I wonder what he gave future President Trump.

Well, there's Zelensky's endorsement. #1, the Dims came close the last time around, targeting his staff for something similar when Trump was president-elect. They just haven't tried this particular scenario yet - "Republican presidential nominee has unauthorized conversation with head of a foreign power." Give them til Monday.

The FBI clarified Friday that a bullet struck former President Donald Trump during an attempt against his life in a rally on July 13. An attempted assassin present near a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on July 13 opened fire and injured the former president before he was neutralized by the Secret Service. FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress on Thursday that there were still “some questions” as to what exactly had struck Trump during the assassination attempt, whether it was a “bullet or shrapnel,” though did not directly mention whether glass fragments could be responsible, a theory that has been used by some in the media.

Former President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he will be returning to the town where he survived an assassination attempt earlier this month to hold a rally honoring those who were shot. The former president was shot by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks on July 13 during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, as he spoke to thousands of supporters who were in attendance. “I WILL BE GOING BACK TO BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA, FOR A BIG AND BEAUTIFUL RALLY, HONORING THE SOUL OF OUR BELOVED FIREFIGHTING HERO, COREY, AND THOSE BRAVE PATRIOTS INJURED TWO WEEKS AGO,” Trump posted

Advice to Israel: Get it done in Gaza fast and get to it with Hezbollah soon, because it’s a 50-50 proposition that Kamala Harris is going to be president in January. And she is coming after you. In her first major statement as the presumptive Democratic nominee, Harris began by saying Israel has the right to defend itself against terrorism. Some commenters said she was therefore speaking supportive words. That is absurd on its face. It actually goes without saying that every nation, in every circumstance, has the right to defend itself against terrorism, since terrorism is the act of deploying political violence against non-combatants. That includes bad nations, and mean nations,

On Tuesday, the House announced a task force to investigate the July 13 assassination attempt against former and potentially future President Donald Trump. It was a rare move of unanimity, as the plan to set up the task force passed by a vote of 416-0. The task force will be comprised of 13 members, Republicans and Democrats. One of the Democrats being considered is Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), which is raising eyebrows and causing outrage. The Friday morning newsletter from Punchbowl News references Goldman and even mentions that he's "seen as a strong candidate for the panel."

New York Attorney General Letitia James has warned the Supreme Court not to intervene in the sham hush-money case against Donald Trump. Her warning comes after Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a Republican, petitioned the Supreme Court for permission to file a complaint against the state of New York that would delay Trump’s September sentencing hearing and lift all his speech restrictions on the case. Bailey argued that these restrictions represent an infringment on the right of Missourians to hear from prospective presidential candidates.

Kamala Harris was all smiles when she arrived at Joe Biden's former Delaware campaign headquarters on Monday. She was there to lift the spirits of blindsided staffers, who after 15 months of toiling to re-elect the president, suddenly found themselves working for her. 'It is my great honor to have Joe's endorsement in this race,' she boasted to cheers from a crowd who were now on her payroll. But as the assembled readily applauded, some must have harbored private concerns. For, behind the recent public self-branding of Harris as a kindly, jovial 'Momala', she has earned a nasty reputation as an alleged 'soul-destroying' workplace 'bully'.

Former White House Physician and U.S. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) again debunked claims that former President Donald Trump was not hit by a bullet from the would-be assassin who attacked his Pennsylvania rally on July 13 after FBI Director Christopher Wray cast doubt on Trump being shot during congressional testimony this week. "With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear," Wray told lawmakers on Wednesday. Rep. Jackson — who has reviewed Trump's medical records, used to be his White House physician, and has checked the former president out since the assassination attempt — says otherwise.

Donald Trump has appeared without a bandage on his ear for the first time since he was shot in an assassination attempt - as his doctor released an update on his recovery and responded to doubts he was hit by a bullet. The shocking new images show that the 45th president's right ear seems to have made a remarkably quick recovery in less than two weeks since a gunman opened fire on him. Would-be assassin Thomas Crooks, 20, fired eight rounds from his AR-15 at the rally stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, including one that ripped through the president's ear.

Joe Biden gave a confused address at the White House on Wednesday evening that was supposed to address why he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. So basically he was admitting this was an effort to increase their chances in the election. It was a cynical attack on democracy, throwing the votes of millions of Americans under the bus.
