Leftist rag raked over the coals for portraying
Trump as Hitler on its cover – literally

The New Republic was raked over the coals for its outrageous cover depicting a former U.S. president as a fascist dictator responsible for the deaths of millions. The leftist rag was called out on social media as a “clown publication” and blasted for “fearmongering” after sporting an image of Trump as Hitler on its latest cover. “We chose the cover image, based on a well-known 1932 Hitler campaign poster, for a precise reason: that anyone transported back to 1932 Germany could very, very easily have explained away Herr Hitler’s excesses and been persuaded that his critics were going overboard,” the publication explained.

Wait -- when George W. Bush was President, didn't the left constantly tell us he was Hitler? And now Donald Trump is Hitler? I guess when a Republican becomes President, he becomes Hitler -- which is kind of odd, since Hitler was a big-government left-wing Socialist.

A friend of mine died recently. She was a German war bride, having been in the Nazi navy and was captured near the end of the war - a POW. Many interesting stories she told about growing up in Hitler's Germany. One thing in particular struck me, though. She said when she first heard an Obama speech, it gave her cold chills: she told me 'he sounds like Hitler!'

But if Trump is a modern-day Hitler and we Americans are in the exact position as the Germans were in 1933 watching the rise of the real Hitler, why are they wasting time writing articles in magazines and not out there in the streets to stop the nascent dictator, as their hero Alinsky advocated “by any means necessary,” up to and including assassination? Care to respond, New Republic or are you just your usual hysterical selves?

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Wednesday morning did not provide a direct answer when she was asked if she wanted President Joe Biden to continue his campaign for president. The California Democrat was pressed on the issue on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and said she and other Democrats would support whatever Biden chooses to do. “It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run,” Pelosi said. “We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short,” she added. Pelosi said Biden has the “overwhelming support of the caucus,” although

How many times have you heard people say that Donald Trump can be his own worst enemy? How many times have you thought that he could do so much more good if he didn’t get in his own way? Or, as Ben Domenech puts it at Spectator World, “The attitude is ubiquitous among some portions of the president’s base: they just think he’d be better off if he could focus and not give Democrats so much material. But because this hypothetical has never emerged, we never really got to find out if it was true — until now.” For the last few weeks, we’ve largely seen that wish come true.

Two weeks. We've had two weeks since Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance. Normally, a debate sustains a news cycle for a few days. But Biden's performance was so bad, his obvious mental decline so apparent, that the media just can't let it go. To be fair, we on the right have not let it go since his basement campaign in 2020. But the media has suddenly had their eyes opened and the veil lifted. They see now what they were too un-curious to see before: Biden is a man in decline. The problem for the Democrats is that, when it comes to seeking another candidate, time is up. The ideal time

By the time we saw Joe Biden’s debate debacle, the media had spent four years covering up his mental and physical decline to help Democrats. After Biden’s fragile mental state was exposed, the media instantaneously began pushing Biden out of the presidential race to help Democrats. The goal remains the same. The Wall Street Journal reports this week that Biden’s senior advisers “aggressively stage-managed” the president’s “schedule, movements and personal interactions, as they sought to minimize signs of how age has taken a toll on the oldest president in U.S. history.” Basically, everyone in the White House — as well as big-money donors — conspired to hide that the president

So when an article appears that mentions (almost certainly correctly) that Baby Boomers are at the moment the wealthiest generation and reveals how they are apparently flocking to a town in Texas with wheelbarrows full of cash (almost certainly an exaggeration), it's easy to spot some of those misconceptions. Georgetown, Texas, is the place to be, at least if you're of a certain age. Thanks to a surge in baby boomers moving into the city just 40 miles north of Austin, it's the fastest-growing city in America.

In 2022, the Washington Examiner's Becket Adams reported that the Marine Corps Band was instructed to compose an entrance theme for First Lady Jill Biden. The song, Fanfare for the First Lady, was intended to be a counterpoint to the president's Hail to the Chief. Amid the battle over Joe Biden's senility among Democrats, Schumer moved to a different topic, pledging to legislatively declare Trump's actions surrounding January 6th as "unofficial." That comes after the Supreme Court delivered a mixed opinion on the matter in late June, stating that "official" acts are indeed subject to presidential immunity while "unofficial" acts are not. That set up a long legal battle whereby the special counsel prosecuting Trump must litigate each action to determine what category they fall under. Naturally, Democrats were not pleased

"Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last," is how Winston Churchill, just months away from becoming Britain's wartime Prime Minister, described the appeasement that led to World War II. "All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. "The same could be said of France's snap election, in which everyone from French Stalinists to the country's business interests banded together to defeat the country's "far right" at the polls. But the far right is not the threat, and the crocodile snapping at everyone's heels is the accelerating Islamification of France.
