Tractor Supply announced Thursday it is no longer implementing neo-Marxist initiatives throughout the company, marking a rare win for conservatives seeking to restore sanity to American institutions.
“We work hard to live up to our Mission and Values every day and represent the values of the communities and customers we serve,” a company press release reads. “We have heard from customers that we have disappointed them. We have taken this feedback to heart. Going forward, we will ensure our activities and giving tie directly to our business.”

Your thoughts, comments, and ideas are always welcome here. But we ask you to please be mindful and respectful. Threatening or crude language doesn't persuade anybody and makes the conversation less enjoyable for fellow L.Dotters.
Fire the idiot who made that choice and the board that hired him, and we will talk about doing business with them again.
I have heard many a forced apology from teenagers, so I know what I am hearing is CYA, and not contrition.

Hal Lawton is the name of the CEO who implemented DEI at TSC, he is still there.
He was a guest columnist in The Tennessean on April 7, 2021, with "How Tractor Supply Company is helping vaccinate rural American against COVID-19". He wrote an Op-Ed in The Tennessean on October 20, 2021, with the title "Why businesses should follow Tractor Supply’s push for diversity, inclusion, and climate change prevention"

Target never got the "message" from all their "citizen activism." Target continues with their in-your-face "Pride" celebrations and deranged left-leaning marketing. It was once our "go to" place for everything, and they've gotten ne'ery a dollar from us since they began allowing boys in girls restrooms.

Did the woman from Budweiser find a new job at Tractor Supply? I know when I go to Tractor Supply, I'm always on the lookout for DEI content amongst the chickens and feed, garden supplies, and log splitters. Nothing says DEI more than a container of chemical that keeps deer and rabbits out of your garden.

Corporate DEI/ESG implementation has little to do with bottom-line result or consumer druthers on product/service. It has everything to do with virtue signaling with executive peers. No one wants to be socially shunned from the 'in' crowd. They have to be seen at all the right cocktail parties and social events. Consequently, the fear is that a company may lose distributor, advertising, vendor and other business contacts if they don't play along with the 'cool' kids. I suspect that few executives really believe the "Didn't Earn It" crap in their heart of hearts. The only real true believers have been infesting a corporation's HR department for years.

Talk is cheap. Unless the evil corporate idiots responsible for all this garbage get very publicly fired, then they are just buying time to start slowly sneaking all this evil back into their agenda again when they think nobody is paying any attention again!!!
Besides, why would they want to keep corporate stooges who are so out of touch with the customer base for this company?!?!?!? Most of their customers are farmers and ranchers, who are 98% conservative and don't support evil sodomite causes!!!!!

Just in time for me to return to TSC for Christmas shopping for far away relatives. Literally, just in time. TSC has some of the best gifts for my gardening relatives living on other planets. You have to mail them out really early. I can't imagine a corporation that us usually so customer friendly being so damn stupid as to do the deadly DEI thing. Fire the person who thought up that BAD idea.

Diversity, inclusion, and climate change prevention have NOTHING in common with each other. Sounds like Hal Lawton just went beyond his pay-grade. He ain't quite leash-trained yet.
