Biden seeks to tame Democrat panic at
post-debate rally

President Biden sought to tamp down the panic among some Democrats on Friday over his ability to lead the party heading into November following a calamitous debate performance a night earlier, delivering a more energized speech in North Carolina in which he acknowledged some of his shortcomings. “Folks, I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to,” Biden said at a campaign rally in Raleigh. “But I know what I do know,” he continued. “I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong.

FJB's Raleigh appearance was on several news channels. You couldn't avoid it. Before switching to Formula 1 on DVR, I heard the lying and the slurred speech until I had had enough--about one minute was all any reasonable person could tolerate. He hollered, "I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong." Beastly liar. The truth is not in him. Never was. Almost everything he tries to do is wrong. He has been Obama's auto-pen since 20 January 2021. He decides nothing, and probably doesn't know anyting about what they put in front of him to sign. Hollow man, head full of straw.

FTA:“But I know what I do know,” he continued. “I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. And I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done." And this "I give you my word as a Biden....." There's so much to unpack from these calculated statements. biden claims to know how to tell the truth but has always chosen to tell a lie instead. He also claims to know right from wrong but chooses to do wrong because wrong leads to more wealth and power for him and his dysfunctional family. And finally he talks about his "word as a biden". That's purely laughable. The word of a congenital liar has no credibility anywhere. He's nothing more than an angry, little man who enjoys portraying himself as the "tough guy" because deep in his demented heart he knows he's a coward.

What Biden was simply trying to get across to that small group of Democrats who he met with after the debate, was that after about 50 years in DC as partisan political animal that he still has enough liberal Democrat political jargon ensconced in what remains of his cognitively diminished brain to last four more years. But is that what the majority of voters across the country want, a President who has greatly diminished cognitive abilities, and who could in a clinch order that the wrong foreign country be bombed.

Maybe the Liar in Chief does know how to tell the truth. But he doesn’t. Could there be a more vile lie than saying a fellow killed your wife because he “drank his lunch”? Biden’s wife ran a stop sign and ran into the truck. That poor trucker was involved in a fatality and then gets defamed saying he was drunk and caused the accident. Maybe the Ethicist in Chief does know right from wrong. But he consistently chooses wrong. Heard some audio clips of his Raleigh stop, and he certainly sounded a LOT more direct than on the debate last night. I realize he was on a teleprompter but it made me realize he likely had an earpiece last night. Kept thinking he was listening for the answer most of the night. If he didn't have an earpiece then he just isn't capable of handling things extemporaneously which is a real problem. Saw him writing on a paper too, but Trump was speaking directly without notes or teleprompter.

Under normal circumstances, I would have said that the exclusion from last night’s presidential debate of anti-Semitism was so significant as to merit our full attention. After all, it’s not merely a question of Jews feeling comfortable on campus or elsewhere; it’s a steady stream of violent riots that have taken a can of bear spray to American civic life. And yet, it honestly feels silly even complaining about that—or anything else issue-based, for that matter. The feeling of crisis at this moment is so acute that all issues take a backseat—and that is a crisis all its own. The crisis is international. Maybe even more so than it is domestic.
