Moment California Democrat WEEPS when
Latina Republican tells him why slavery
reparations are doomed

A top California Democrat was brought to tears when he was told in a heated debate that Asian and Latino residents shouldn't have to pay for a controversial slavery reparations package. Ash Kalra, the Indian-American chair of the Assembly Judiciary Committee, briefly sobbed in a tense exchange with Latina Republican Kate Sanchez as she slammed race-based payouts. The pair were debating Senate Bill 1331, one of 14 reparations bills being weighed by lawmakers after a task force last year proposed $1.2 million packages for every descendant of slavery.

This will get bogged down in courts for years! I can claim exemption because none of my mother’s ancestors owned slaves. All fought on the Union side. I come from an Amish/Mennonite line on my father’s side. No slaveholders there, either.

I shouldn't have to pay either. Because exactly half or 50% of my ancestors were unable to vote and so they had absolutely nothing to say about what was going on in this country. Those ancestors didn't get the right to vote until 1920 when women got the right to vote.

Reparations is a hustle. Any idea that, once paid, the agitators will go away satisfied is like expecting unreformed drunks to stop frequenting bars that give them free drinks or socialists to live within their budgets.

The unintended consequences will be disastrous for California. White tax “payers” and businesses will leave in droves. Droves of people with their hands out will flood the state, thinking that they will get in on the windfall, just to end up on the welfare rolls. Inflation and real estate values will skyrocket temporarily as the suddenly wealthy pay outrageous prices for homes. Then the crash happens as tax receipts dry up. Property values plummet and bankruptcies backlog the courts. 800 billion in reparations will, in short order, turn California into Somalia West. Remember, this isn't about making amends for slavery. This is about buying votes and lining democrat pockets at the expense of tax payers.

This debate is emotional for all sides. People of all "races" pay taxes. Black people who pay taxes would also fund reparations. An argument for reparations is maybe we all get reparations for being taxed way too darn much for decades. Our enemy is the demonic communists working to destroy this country and to divide us against one another. Outthink them; it ain't hard to do. Just push every foolish idea they have back on them with something that makes sense.

Former President Trump called to offer condolences to Patty Morin, the mother of Rachel Morin, the mother of five who was allegedly raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, prompting a very different reaction than her response to the Biden administration’s seeming indifference to her pain. Patty Morin revealed on Wednesday that no one in the Biden administration had reached out to her after the arrest of Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, 23, who was arrested last Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma and charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape in Rachel Morin’s death. Former President Donald Trump is expected to hold a huge rally in Virginia Friday, the day after he faces President Joe Biden on the debate stage for the first time in the 2024 cycle. The move is meant to exude confidence, as Biden beat Trump in Virginia in 2020 by 10.2 points, whereas now Trump seems to be within striking distance. It's stirring up VP rumors too, as Trump will reportedly be joined by Virginia's popular Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin - who was once being pushed by some Republican donors to run against Trump in the 2024 GOP primaries - an opportunity the first-term governor declined.

Hawaii is the second most expensive state for families, followed by Connecticut in third place. New York comes in fourth, while California is the fifth most expensive state for a family to make ends meet, it found.

But based on the dreadful macroeconomic strategies and visible results of the Biden administration’s policies, their misreading of this adage has had them commanding the ship of state at flank speeds towards the financial rocks. The broad areas where Biden took us off course toward the shallows deal with strangling oil and gas availability, and unsustainable government overspending, both resulting in higher interest rates. A Democrat political strategist is confirming what many believe is the biggest problem with Joe Biden's re-election campaign: Joe Biden. The president - a week ahead of the surprise first debate against Donald Trump - continues to struggle in the polls, often trailing nationally and in key swing states. What's worse for Biden is that the Democrat Senators defending their seats this November are running ahead of Biden and even handily leading their Republican opponent. However, in the same polls, the consistently gaffe-prone Biden is either barely leading or outright trailing his long-time rival.
