On Monday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” co-host Sara Sidner stated that “the economy is doing well, by all measures.” Even though “the prices are high” and said that some Republicans haven’t been giving credit to President Joe Biden for improvements to roads and bridges under the infrastructure law.
While speaking with Biden Campaign Co-Chair Mitch Landrieu, Sidner said, “Look, the economy is doing well, by all measures. Yes, the prices are high. There was also the infrastructure bill that was pushed through that some Republicans in their states have been touting, not giving the credit, of course, to Joe Biden, but telling their citizens that this is a great thing,

Meeting metrics means nothing if the metrics are outdated or inadequate. This entire administration digs for one positive data point, while ignoring the mountain of negative data points, and tells us that everything is fine.

Shoot, we were just up in PA, and gas was $3.89/gallon. 25 bucks barely raised my needle 1/4. Inflate your tires!

After paying normal bills, trying to put food on the table there is nothing left. I was not living like this four years ago. When you have millions $ in the bank none of this asshat economy is a problem. So maybe you go on one less vacation or complain a little but it's not because you can't feed your family. Money sees you through. I am tired of being told I am stupid, everything is good, I am tired of being told I am stupid, there is nothing wrong with FJB, I am tired of being told I am stupid, of course a man can be a woman, I am tired of being told I am stupid, eating meat is bad, using natural energy resources is bad, parents are unnecessary to the wellbeing of a child, crime is under control, illegals are good, policing is bad, everyone is a victim unless you are white. I hate these people. I would like for one of these elites to stay with a normal family for a month and live on their income and then report back. It sucks big time in the real world.

Of course! Biden says it's so and his lying water carriers in the media parrot whatever the lie of the day is. And it must be true! They're all telling the same story.
Yet I look around and see it's not so. Each lie the media tries to sell us just digs their grave that much deeper. We see what you're doing and we're NOT buying it.

Economic nonsense. The economy is being propped up by prolific government spending. Citizens are see nothing but higher costs, because the government spending produces nothing.

Lies.
Ignore your empty bank account and huge grocery bills, and you doubled gas bill....the economy is FANTASTIC, best ever. Would we lie to you?
You are just confused about that lack of money at the end of the month into imagining that things aren't great.
Get with it, Joe has created the best economy, and enjoy your raman noodles and peanut butter sandwiches, we have some nice bug paste coming next year.

CNN's Sara Sidner is, as usual, WRONG! The Republicans are giving Biden all kinds of credit for the economy. He gets all the credit for the high food prices, high fuel prices, high inflation, and all of the others issues that the Biden administration likes to ignore or blame on others. The Republicans happily give credit where credit is due. Will Sidner ask Democrats when they will give Donald Trump for the great economy under his presidency (up to Covid)?

The economy was MUCH better under Trump. Show me where CNN ever gave Trump credit for that. As #7 said, I'll happily give Biden credit for the sorry state of this economy. Just because CNN says a tiger is really a house cat - doesn't mean it won't eat you for lunch. You can call this economy 'great!' - but it is eating us peons' lunch! Which is probably the dems' intent. The more people who are dependent on the government's largess (from other people's money) the more control the governing tyrants have over the peons. And they will expect the peons to be extremely grateful to the government for the pittance the government grants the peons.

People will vote their pocketbooks. Just hope there are enough of them. That's what the Democrats are afraid of. Propagandists like Sidner should be made to dress as clowns when they make these ridiculous statements.

The economy is great, Biden is competent, EVs and windmills will save the planet, the country was founded on racism, socialism works, a man can be a woman and Epstein killed himself. Democrat ideas are nothing but a rickety structure of lies piled upon lies.

You are getting sleepy; very, very sleepy. Your eyelids are getting heavy; very, very heavy. Food and gas are plentiful and cheap. Biden is the best; Trump is the worst. When I snap my fingers you will awaken, refreshed and happy.

The GDP at the end of 2020, the covid year, was $25.5 trillion.
The GDP at the end of 2023, after three years of Biden, was $27.4 Trillion. Actual numbers. Look them up.
So, the economy growing 7.3% while inflation was up 19% is great? I beg to differ.

CNN is crashing and burning (like the Waa-Poo) and insane reporting like this is the reason why. AND Americans KNOW it. CNN is spitting into the wind and they are drenched in saliva.

People still have to eat and live. Imagine how much better the economy would be doing if inflation and energy prices were much lower.

Today I took an Uber to see an eye doctor. Reason: I hate driving after my eyes have been dilated. The guy who took me home was driving a BMW and told me he paid $ 400k for his house. Guess the economy is great for Uber drivers. It ain't for me. The only thing I absolutely have to have is coffee. Anything else I can deal with.
