During Sunday’s broadcast of New York City radio WABC’s “The Cat’s Roundtable,” long-time Democrat political strategist James Carville admitted remorse for President Joe Biden’s decision to run for re-election in 2024.
Carville told WABC host John Catsimatidis there was a deep bench if Biden should be forced out but acknowledged he thought the incumbent president should have considered sitting this one out.
“And tell me, we both talked over breakfast that, if anything — if President Biden decides not to run or is ill and can’t run, where does the Democratic Party go?”

Carville is right. Hillary would be a much stronger candidate, right James?

Chester James "CrazyMan" Carville Jr. will be 80 years old
October 25. His wife, Mary Matlin, tends to keep her mouth shut because she is a Bush follower and busy spoiling the grandchildren.

They had four years. And in four years they crashed the economy, started three wars, dumped on half of the voters. Did I miss anything?

"And so I got to live in the world, I got to live in it, not the world I wanted to live in.” That might work for you, Carville, but for the rest of us it SUCKS! Most of us are not millionaires where the biggest decision we have is which luxury car should we get this year. We are trying to buy food and pay bills. All out of this world because of FJB policies. FJB world works for him. He might not make 4 more years but he can always raise his "big guy cut" to 25% to make up for lost time. Mrs. FJB is all good too. Flying back and forth from here to France like she is just going downtown to lunch. I thought she was all worried about Mother Nature? The only thing she has to worry about is does she have enough davenport materials to make a new dress and Depends for FJB. We mothers know what it is like to grab for the diaper and find an empty box instead. Jimmy Carter was a very poor president because he didn't know which end was up but he wasn't disgusting. The FJB family is disgusting.

I wonder if Jill gets x amount of money as long as they keep pretending Biden is president. My guess is that the gravy train stops as soon as he is finished. Biden is too far gone to even know he’s alive, but Jill knows the score, doesn’t she? I wonder if it was suggested that they call it quits and the old shrew refused. Seeing as she knows where all the bodies are buried, Obama, Inc. may have felt they needed to play ball for 4 more years. Just speculating…

Deep Bench? You mean Horizontal Harris, Gruesome Newsom, and the governor in Michigan who thinks her state should still be in COVID lockdown?
After that, it's AOC and Uncle Fenstermann.

Well then, show us you mean it. Lay some of that off-color vitriol that you so gleefully spew at the MAGA crowd on him and everyone around him who drove your party up this dead-end street. Clintonianism has been shelved for almost a quarter-century,

The dimocrat's "deep bench" is the "Group W" bench:
"there was all kinds of mean nasty ugly looking people on the bench there. Mother rapers. Father stabbers. Father rapers! Father rapers sitting right there on the bench next to me! And
they was mean and nasty and ugly and horrible crime-type guys sitting on the
bench next to me"
Yup that's the best and brightest of the dimocrat party.

'Doctor' Jill probably told Joe that he was running for reelection whether he liked it or not because she was not about to just walk away from the power and perks of being first lady.

#5, the Dems may not be locked in to Biden. Vivek Ramaswamy is making the argument that the first debate is strategically set for the earliest date ever on June 27. That is before the Dem convention. If Biden does not do well in the debate, the Dems will change the nomination rules at the convention to ignore the primaries and will nominate someone other than Biden.
My speculation: Biden may try to outsmart the Obama/Clinton puppetmasters and assist Jimmy Carter's demise so that Jimmy expires before June 27 and he will cancel the debate because the former president needs to be honored and it would be undignified to mix political debates with funeral ceremonies.

I think he is running to ensure the executive branch mechanisms are able to protect the family from the many issues the Biden's are facing.
And to protect the Biden brand/name. PERIOD.
They love the power the office of the President provides and aren't giving it up if they don't have to.
It's not a guarantee Kamala would protect them all if she were to assume the office, based on how the two sides have "gotten along".

There is a gaping hole in the democrat party bench because any youthful rising stars were ruthlessly squashed to make way for Hillary's 2008 presidential bid. You may remember how Rep Nita Lowery who after faithful years in New York politics was considered the logical choice to replace Moynihan in the Senate was ruthlessly bigfooted out of the way for First Lady Clinton. That was just the beginning. IMHO, Obama was left standing to be her running mate, but wild carded an end run around her, using the Ted Kennedy faction that resented Clinton control of the party. Her foundation gave her the financial clout to continue weeding out potential rivals for 2016 while her anger fueled the effort. With fossils Schumer and Pelosi protecting their power the legislative branch, youth was stifled and there was no one under 75 to run in 2020. The few who hit the primaries were weak. Nothing has changed except everyone is even older now. It will take sometime before the party recovers from the deliberate removal of a generation of dems.
