Conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas painted a dark picture of what working in Washington, D.C. is like.
Thomas described the “nastiness and the lies” he and his wife endure during a judicial conference on Friday, adding that the nation’s capital is a “hideous place.” His comments come following a question about working in a polarizing environment, calling it “incredible” to live in a world the way we do now.
“But you have some choices. You don’t get to prevent people from doing horrible things or saying horrible things. But one you have to understand and accept the fact that they can’t change you unless you permit that,”

Justice Thomas may be one of the last Americans who can join Donald Trump in saving America from the extinction Victor Davis Hanson depicts in The End of Everything. MAGA Vet.

DC ruins everyone that works there. I bet not a single senator or representative went there with the intention of becoming a corrupt communist or a blackmailed pedophile, yet here we are. Debt can never be paid, taxes are through the roof. Bill Of Rights no longer exists, and the system exists only to enrich its members and punish its enemies. Our experiment in self government has failed.

If Thomas wasn't on the Supreme Court, I think he would be an excellent choice for VP. Washington has tried to get Thomas and so far, seems to have failed. Only thing working against him is his age.

DC Uniparty Deep State Criminal Cabal headquarters, filled with rotten, lying, criminal folks who steal with both hands all day every day, and will probably kill anyone that gets in their way.
They are VERY angry that Trump may interfere with their stealing and take away some of their powers.
Thousands deserve to be in prison or in front of firing squads.

Yes poster # 6, thousands need to be tried for treason and belong in jail or at the end of a rope. Unfortunately, many of those denizens of the District of Corruption are rinos.

Read an article where Justice Thomas and his wife RV and camp out with normal people. I think it would be pretty cool to meet and talk to him.

A little amendment: true, you can't always stop someone from doing evil, however, once the crime is committed, then your established Laws MUST be enforced, and punishment just but swift. This often makes the person pause, who might be contemplating committing a crime. A depraved heart may be undaunted, for sure.
As the old preacher said, You can't stop the birds from flying over your head, but you can stop them from building a nest in your hair.
So the Rule of Law must be exerted anew, in all the cities, at the borders, for sure, and, alas, clean out the rot in government... which will take voters getting involved in choosing best possible candidates. Hard to do. These are the new times trying our souls...
What we have been witnessing is the purposeful destruction of our legal system, intentional "unequal application of the Law", the persecution of political and religious opponents, all throughout the Justice system, sometimes only slowed down in its effectuation, sometimes, sometimes actually fully engaged in administering justice as notable exceptions, but too often running roughshod over the rights and liberties of chosen victims, seemingly unaware of how the putrefaction of unequal administration of laws putrefies the whole Body. And as we know, so much of this perversion of justice and corruption of our justice system is due to untold millions spent by Soros and the like to destroy our Republic. pure evil. (Why is he not deemed "persona non grata" and expelled from US or charged along with many others, under RICO???)
This is what is frightening to the core. Any reading of history will tell you that without justice, The People will be destroyed. Is there any nation on earth where justice and the Rule of Law are championed? Can this be restored here?

Re #8, yes, apparently they do....although in a huge, wonderful, very, very nice older "Greyhound bus" class of RV....so not exactly parking with the riff-raff, but certainly they do meet a lot of fairly normal people in RV campgrounds. You don't have to be rich to have a big RV, I know a number of pretty normal middle class folks who camp that way.
Since my wife and I don't camp in RV campgrounds, but in tent campgrounds, I doubt we'll ever run across them....which is a shame. I'd love to thank Justice Thomas for all he does and wish him well.

I grew up in Virginia (BEFORE it got paved over), then earned a BS in mechanical engineering at GWU -23rd & I (Eye) street NW in DC.
The whole time I was there (and this is in the late 1970's) I felt that I was in some type of discontinuity zone, or perhaps a foreign country.
Whatever it was, the main thing I wanted out of that place was ME!
I graduated, then a couple years later moved to the Mississippi gulf coast, where I have lived happily ever since.
Justice Thomas is a wise man and a good man. We are fortunate to have him on the Supreme Court.
