New Inflation Numbers Keep Economic Concerns

Inflation ticked up in the latest figures from the U.S. government's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), released March 12. It's not a huge rise, but enough to keep the eroding value of the dollar in the headlines, feed Americans' dissatisfaction with the economy, and be received as very bad news by the White House. The president and his allies work hard to claim credit for what they tout as a thriving economy, but all they've done is link the Biden brand to rising prices and a general distaste for the president's management.

When the government continues to print a $1,000,000,000,000 of new money, created out of thin air every month or two.....THE MONEY BECOMES WORTH LESS.....until eventually "worth less" equals "worthless". This is called inflation.....unless you are a Dem or socialist-communist, and then you call it "bad luck".

"Brace for more of the same," true words. The elites want to pay their debts with inflated dollars. Meanwhile the people that have saved see their wealth erode away.

If I hear one more msm garden gnome say "but the stock market is doing so well" I will scream. Do they really think your average, normal American family has $$$ invested in the stock market? Do they think that when we are looking at a pound of hamburger that costs $6.98 we are swooning over the unemployment figures? Or the car needs fixed, but it will cost $800 more and they can't get the part in shop. And the idiot in the WH wants me to buy a $60,000 electric car? EVERYTHING is more expensive because of their spending and printing more Monopoly Money. Now throw in MILLIONS of illegals and what it cost to buy their future votes and we are talking about real money. And the pork barrel spending that just came down the pike. Even a dead Diane Feinstein gets a check for $5 million. What is wrong with these people? CUT the spending and printing.

"New Inflation Numbers Keep Economic Concerns Front and Center" - isn't that nice .... so, = here we are, once again, waiting for government to fix our everyday existence problems but = it doesn't matter who is "in charge" in D.C. because the demcommies always seem to have the upper hand in any situation and = having them at the helm is like having a known arsonist building the fire for this nights dinner which means = it can only end badly

The Path to Victory for Trump 3 replies

Following this week's primaries, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have both attained enough delegates to be their respective parties' presidential nominees this fall. Barring some sort of unforeseen event -- a debilitating hospitalization, an ultra-expedited criminal prosecution, or a convention floor revolt -- we will thus get a rematch of the 2020 presidential election. For the many Americans who are neither Trump enthusiasts nor card-carrying Democratic partisans, this choice at the ballot box may be less than fully enticing. But for those patriots who still love this country, warts and all and in spite of our ruinous current trajectory and decadence, it is imperative that Trump secures

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer saying Thursday he has lost faith in the current Israeli government during an interview Sunday morning on "FOX & Friends." CHUCK SCHUMER: A new election is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel... People on all sides of this war are turning away from a two-state solution, including Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu... I believe in his heart he has his highest priority is the security of Israel. I also believe Prime Minister Netanyahu has lost his way.

Former President Donald Trump weighed in on the abortion debate, which has been a politically fraught subject for Republicans. Reports claim Trump has discussed having a ban on abortions after 16 weeks of pregnancy with three exceptions: rape, incest and the life of the mother. "Pretty soon, I'm going to be making a decision. And I would like to see if we could do that at all. I would like to see if we could make both sides happy," Trump said on "MediaBuzz" Sunday. Trump was vocally pro-life throughout his presidency, but he drew backlash after telling MSNBC in September that Gov. Ron DeSantis' six-week ban on abortion was

With eight months still to go until the presidential election, many on the Left are in denial of one of the more historic and significant shifts happening within a key voting bloc — Latino voters. The chief fallacy of the Democrats right now is that they believe President Joe Biden’s problems are all about perception. In truth, however, the reality is far starker: The shortcomings of this administration’s policy outcomes are deeply rooted in reality. If Biden loses in November, it will largely be because of Democrats’ shockingly diminished support among minority voters.

The removal of lead special prosecutor Nathan Wade from Donald Trump’s prosecution had the feel of a Southern Gothic. Fulton County, Ga. District Attorney Fani Willis had described Wade as “a Southern gentleman. Me, not so much.” For weeks, the public has been enthralled by accounts of Wade’s illicit affair with Willis. Then there was the roughly three-quarters of a million dollars paid to Wade before he was booted from the case this week. Channeling Tennessee Williams in his play “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” Judge Scott McAfee wrote that, after their testimony, there remained “an odor of mendacity.”

Former President Trump visited Ohio on Saturday, where he barnstormed for businessman Bernie Moreno, a Republican seeking to win his state’s primary to run against Democrat Sherrod Brown for U.S. Senate. During his rally in Dayton, Trump repeatedly mentioned illegal migrants surging across the border, violent migrant crime, and the death of University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley. "Not one more American life should be lost to migrant crime. We can't have another Laken," the 2024 Republican presumptive nominee said in his remarks, in which he also repeatedly blamed President Biden’s policies for allowing millions of migrants, including, "violent gang members and gangsters" into the U.S.

This newsletter has noted that the elected Democrats, Biden DOJ-appointed prosecutors, legal activists, and others who have filed criminal charges and lawsuits against former President Donald Trump have crafted a multiple-redundant line of attack. If one case fails, there is another to back it up, and if that case fails, there is another to back it up, and so on. There are four criminal cases against the former president, all charging him with felonies. At the beginning of this week, there were 91 felony counts against Trump, but a judge in the Georgia prosecution threw out some counts, so

A new report has sharply criticized the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, writing that lockdowns, school closures and vaccine mandates were "catastrophic errors" resulting in many Americans losing faith in public health institutions. The report, published this week by the non-profit Committee to Unleash Prosperity (CTUP), paints a damning indictment of the government’s role in the crisis and offers ten lessons that must be learned, to avoid the same mistakes from being repeated. Some of the guidance includes halting all binding agreements or pledges to the World Health Organization (WHO),

FOX News contributor and GWU law professor Jonathan Turley on Friday told FOX News host Laura Ingraham that Fulton County DA Fani Willis is damaged goods. Turley said on 'The Ingraham Angle' that the best thing for former President Donald Trump may be for her to continue to lead the case. "Nobody reading this opinion with these damning findings could possibly believe that Willis can continue to be part of this case," Turley said. "She is prosecuting people for the underlining conduct she is accused of committing with Nathan Wade. False statements given to a court. False filings that have been submitted.

Last week, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul ordered the National Guard to start patrolling the subways of New York City to deal with the city’s crime problem, which has been metastasizing for years now. There was a lot of guffawing from the online peanut gallery, and understandably so. In the summer of 2020, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., had written a New York Times op-ed suggesting the deployment of the military to quell the rioting that destroyed dozens of cities and did billions of dollars in damage. Though polls showed Cotton’s suggestion had popular support, the Times’ own staff revolted against their employer, with several employees publicly

Earlier this week, John Burn-Murdoch of the Financial Times posted a thread that purported to show substantial losses for Democrats among non-white voters, which he termed a “racial realignment”. If you’re an election data junkie, you’ve probably seen it; it’s been viewed more than 7 million times on Twitter. Here is the graphic that kicked it off. It’s worth reading the whole thread. There’s a lot of data, and Burn-Murdoch notes that the problems are particularly bad for Democrats among working-class voters of color, and younger ones. Many Black, Hispanic and Asian American voters have long identified as moderate or conservative rather than liberal, and Burn-Murdoch theorizes that Democrats’ tilt

The latest “contemporary” sculpture to be unveiled in London’s Trafalgar Square has sparked an uproar, with critics slamming the cartoonish figure as “hideous political trash.” The square has been home to many art installations over the decades, with the Fourth Plinth featuring a rotating cast of artworks every few years since 1999. Detractors aren’t surprised that the sculpture has been changed, but that the latest replacement doesn’t appear to represent native Londoners.Lady in Blue is a sculpture of a black woman with abstract proportions, including strangely long arms and very pronounced buttocks and legs.

Something is seriously wrong with American law schools and the disciplinary outfits that are supposed to monitor corrupt conduct of practitioners. You can see the effects of this degradation in the outrageous behavior of government prosecutors and in the judiciary, which ignores its responsibility to decide fairly and without bias. We are churning out dishonest, corrupt lawyers and judges who are more than willing to look the other way at such behavior, condoning the most obvious selective partisan prosecutions. As the awareness of the failure of the judicial system grows,

The White House is preparing to host a much smaller ceremony for Ramadan amid Arab-American anger at Joe Biden and fears the event would be boycotted by prominent Muslims. Traditionally, the president hosts hundreds of Muslim leaders from around the country for an Eid al-Fitr celebration, which marks the end of Ramadan, the holiest month of the Muslim calendar. But the White House has discussed limiting invitations this year to a smaller group of administration officials and ambassadors from Muslim-majority nations, officials told Politico.
