During a campaign appearance in Denver this week, Vice President Kamala Harris warned the audience that if Trump is reelected, he will weaponize the Department of Justice against his enemies.
That’s a rather ironic statement, considering that this is exactly what the Biden administration is doing right now.
In recent years, Democrats have mastered the art of projection, accusing others of trying to do what they are actually doing in real time.

Democrats had a bad day on Capitol Hill on Tuesday as they simultaneously insisted that the Hur report absolved Joe Biden of having committed any criminal act, while also calling the report a partisan hit job.
There’s no doubt the hearing didn’t go as they’d hoped, and they repeatedly embarrassed themselves in the hopes of undermining former Special Counsel Robert Hur and his report on Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) clearly expected a different answer when he asked Hur, "At any point in your investigation, did you have any reason to believe that President Biden lied to you?"

A federal judge ruled that Hunter Biden will face a trial on federal gun charges on June 3 in Delaware.
The president's son, 54, has pleaded not guilty to three felony charges related to him lying about his drug use when purchasing a gun in 2018. He faces up to 25 years in prison if he is convicted after the trial that could last up to nine days.
His gun trial on June 3 comes immediately for a separate trial in a case brought by Special Counsel David Weiss on nine tax charges set for June 20 in California.

PALM BEACH, Florida — Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively at Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday evening that he is “honored” to be the GOP nominee for president for the third straight presidential election, but he is concerned the United States of America is in “deep trouble,” as the “lunatic” Democrat President Joe Biden is still in charge for the next seven months.
“Number one, I’m honored to be the one representing the great Republican Party,” Trump said in a 90-minute-long exclusive interview at his luxurious seaside resort and club here in southeast Florida. “It’s very important. I thought I would be. I didn’t think it would be this fast.

The tedious Never Trump Republicans are in their happy place now that the election year is finally upon us. These money-grubbing hustlers know they can now put minimum effort into filling their coffers because they will be getting copious amounts of free press from the mainstream media until election day.
They do it all, of course, under the guise of being more principled than the people who are going to vote for Trump, whether they're thrilled with him or not, because we understand that the alternative is the dismantling of the Republic as we know it. The Never Trumpers are really just sellouts, not paragons of lofty principles.

It doesn't take a master's degree in economics to understand that prices are up in every sector of the economy. The economy under Joe Biden is nickel-and-diming us at every turn, and Americans can see past the smoke and mirrors that the White House is using to try to convince us that everything is fine.
The federal government's measure of price increases, the Consumer Price Index (CPI), has consistently shown that inflation isn't going away. The most recent CPI report indicates a 3.2% increase in prices from Feb. 2023 to Feb. 2024. That's a significant increase, but it only shows the increase over a rolling 12 months.

Another Ramadan is upon us, and as is always the case, the eager-to-be-fooled infidels are out in force. A Catholic diocese in Italy has just called upon priests and laypeople to seek out opportunities to participate in Ramadan observances, as a gesture of goodwill toward Muslims. When will Muslim leaders tell Muslims to participate in Christian worship to show friendship with Christians? Don’t hold your breath.
The Catholic Herald reported Friday that the Italian diocese of Bergamo is “instructing its priests to participate in Islamic rituals, citing Pope Francis’ directives on interreligious dialogue.”

Fifteen states are now cooperating and threatening to sue the state of Maine over its radical transgender protection bill that would allow children to be trafficked across state lines into Maine where they would be protected by law while undergoing “gender-affirming care.”
Maine is mulling a bill that would shield any child who wants to undergo transgender procedures no matter where he or she is from. The bill would also automatically invalidate any court action in any other state that might tend to disallow a child to undergo “gender-affirming care” because, in Maine, the procedures would be the patient’s “legal right.”

Given the number of State of the Union speeches President Joe Biden has likely endured over his 50 years in Washington, one might have expected to see a more skilled and cogent annual message to Congress as required by the Constitution. It didn’t happen.
Instead, last week’s SOTU was a master class in how not to win an argument.
Turning up the volume to sell assertions that people don’t fundamentally believe won’t make them more convincing. Nor will an aggressive, if not downright angry, delivery.

A persistent myth is that, for the same job, women in America are paid only 84 cents for every dollar that men are paid.
I explain below, first, why that myth is false and, second, why it’s dangerous.
There are the several reasons why it’s false. The figures use a category of “full time work” for their comparisons. That’s defined as any work over 35 hours per week. That means a man working 55 hours a week is compared to a woman working 36. So, a man making, say, $30/hour for those 55 hours for a total of $1650/week is deemed to be making $210 more

It is a bit jarring to observe the divide between what the legacy press, Democrats, and cable news hosts observed when they watched President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address last Thursday, and how persuadable voters of both Republican and Democratic leanings reacted.

President Joe Biden’s pro-migration administration is preparing for a huge migrant exodus from chaotic Haiti during his 2024 reelection campaign — and he may forcibly return migrants to their chaotic island.
“The driving conditions in Haiti could very well press more people [to migrate],” Rebecca Zimmerman, a senior Pentagon official responsible for homeland defense, told the House Armed Services Committee on March 12e. “We’ve recently approved some additional assistance that we can provide to the Coast Guard,” she told Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on Tuesday.

Former President Donald Trump has had three charges in his Georgia election case thrown out by the judge considering whether to disqualify Fani Willis.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee wrote Wednesday in an order that six of the charges in the indictment must be quashed, including three against Trump.
But the order leaves intact many other charges in the indictment and the judge wrote that prosecutors could seek a new indictment on the charges he dismissed. The six charges in question have to do with allegedly soliciting elected officials to violate their oaths of office.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an airstrike on a senior Hamas terrorist leader — in southern Lebanon, not in Gaza, as part of its effort to protect northern Israel from continued attacks.
The IDF published video of the airstrike on social media: In a statement, the IDF said:
Earlier today (Wednesday), an aircraft in the area of Tyre struck Hadi Ali Mustafa, a significant operative in Hamas’ department responsible for its international terrorist activities. In his position, Hadi directed terrorist cells and activities in the field, and advanced terror attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets in various countries around the world. ATLANTA — The judge presiding over the election interference case in Georgia has dismissed some of the criminal counts against former President Donald Trump.
In a ruling Wednesday, Judge Scott McAfee found that six of the counts in the indictment against Trump and some of his co-defendants, including his former chief of staff Mark Meadows and lawyer Rudy Giuliani, lacked sufficient detail. "As written, these six counts contain all the essential elements of the crimes but fail to allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of their commission, i.e., the underlying felony solicited. They do not give the Defendants enough information to prepare their defenses intelligently," McAfee wrote.

The reported actions of a top White House official that included allegations of longtime bullying and verbal sexual harassment of staffers are accurate, a former top Biden aide told Fox News Digital, who said the claims should trigger an internal investigation. On Tuesday, the New York Post reported that first lady Jill Biden's top aide, Anthony Bernal, who is openly gay, has a history of questionable work conduct but is deemed "untouchable" because she views him as her "work husband."
Bernal, according to the report, has been known to speculate on the

It's South By Southwest Conference (SXSW) time in Austin, Texas. It is an annual event that is "a global event for digital creatives to explore cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests, and network with professionals."
The conference dates this year are March 8-15.
Austin is a big live music city and SXSW brings in musicians from all over the world. This year there is controversy because many bands and musicians scheduled to perform at the festival are pulling out of the event because of the U.S. Army's "super sponsorship" of the festival. They are also taking a pass on performing because of America's support of Israel in the Israel-Hamas war.

Soon after the transcripts of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s interview with President Joe Biden were released, the mainstream press — as though handed talking points by the White House — said they weren’t nearly as bad as Hur had made them out to seem in his report.
“Paints a nuanced portrait,” says the Washington Post. “Transcript shows nuance,” says The Hill. “The interview transcript is more complicated,” says the Associated Press. “Shows memory lapses, but also detailed exchanges,” says NBC News.

Congressional testimonies often don't live up to the hype, but Robert Hur's trip to Capitol Hill on Tuesday was everything Republicans were hoping it would be. The now-former special counsel was in charge of investigating Joe Biden's theft and mishandling of classified documents, some of which were found unsecured in his garage. That led to a report from Hur that was lambasted by Democrats for supposedly overstepping its bounds. What was the issue? It included ample evidence of the current president's senility, including significant memory loss.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is pressuring Jill Biden to forego eggs this Easter but instead use potatoes for the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll event.
In a statement, PETA wrote, “Ahead of the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, PETA sent a letter to Dr. Jill Biden today asking the first lady to modernize the celebration by replacing eggs with dyed Easter potatoes.”
“Children love animals and would be sad to learn that the eggs used for fun and games at the White House come from tormented hens whose lives are spent in cages that afford them less space than a standard sheet of typing paper,”

The murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley, allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien released into the United States, “raises serious questions” about Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Chief Alejandro Mayorkas’s leadership, Senate Homeland Security Committee Republicans say.
On Feb. 22, Laken Riley went for a jog around the University of Georgia (UGA) campus in Athens, Georgia, but never returned home. Later that day, Riley’s body was found bludgeoned in a wooded area.
The following day, 26-year-old illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra from Venezuela was arrested and charged with kidnapping and murdering Riley.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed on Tuesday that conquering Rafah was essential to winning the war against Hamas. In a video address to the AIPAC conference in Washington, D.C., Netanyahu said, “To win this war, we must destroy the remaining Hamas battalions in Rafah. If not, Hamas will regroup, rearm and reconquer Gaza and then we’re back to square one. And that’s an intolerable threat that we cannot accept.” He then restated the three war goals set forth by the government “We will destroy Hamas, free our hostages and ensure that Gaza doesn’t ever pose a threat to Israel again.”

Stephen Colbert is going to host a fundraiser for Biden that will feature Joe, Bill Clinton and Obama. Is it time to reclassify the Late Show as a Democrat super PAC?
Naturally, the event is going to be an elite, high-dollar affair with special perks for people who make six-figure donations.
They’re looking to raise upwards of $10 million.

Special Counsel Robert Hur's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday on his report about Joe Biden's willful retention of classified documents and other sensitive material lived up to the "pre-game" hype that many expected. While Republicans continued to stress the two-tiered justice system in the case of Biden's classified documents vs. those of Donald Trump, Democrats continually tried to put words in Hur's mouth that neither he nor his report said.
So how bad were the Democrats?

Beleaguered Boeing has experienced yet another problem with one of its planes - after one was forced to land due to fuel spewing from its landing gear.
The incident - only the latest from the embattled manufacturer - occurred Monday, and is the fifth involving a Boeing plane in the span of seven days.
Now under investigation, the forced landing happened as the San Francisco-bound 777-300 embarked from Sydney, with fluid filmed leaking from its undercarriage.

Democrats have been cheering since Biden’s State of the Union address last week, because they believe he showed himself to be mentally competent. They really thought that his angry, yelling style speech was a winner.
Voters? Not so much.
A new poll finds that Biden got no boost in his numbers following the speech.
Yahoo News reports:Yahoo News/YouGov poll: No State of the Union bump for Biden
Pundits may have fawned over President Biden’s State of the Union address last Thursday, praising it as a “homerun” performance from a “fiery, powerful, vigorous guy” that would ease nagging fears about his age and vitality.

Both former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden have clinched their respective parties’ nominations, further putting America on a path to a rematch come November of this year.
President Joe Biden earned the title “presumptive nominee” on Tuesday following his primary victory in Georgia, which put him over the delegate threshold.“Biden became the presumptive Democratic nominee by securing a majority of the 3,933 pledged delegates available during the primary process. Maryland businessperson Jason Palmer is the only other individual to earn delegates to the convention so far, though 20 delegates will arrive as ‘uncommitted’ following protest votes in Michigan, Minnesota and Hawaii against Biden’s handling of Israel’s war against

Donald Trump, whose single turbulent term in the White House transformed the Republican Party, tested the resilience of democratic institutions in the U.S. and threatened alliances abroad, will lead the GOP in a third consecutive presidential election after clinching the nomination Tuesday.
With wins in Georgia, Mississippi and Washington state, Trump surpassed the 1,215-delegate threshold needed to become the presumptive Republican nominee. He’ll formally accept the nomination at the Republican National Convention in July, by which point he could be in the remarkable position of being both a presidential candidat

MSNBC host Joy Reid said Tuesday on her show “The ReidOut” that former President Donald Trump and Republicans are “demagoguing” the murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student, by an undocumented migrant.
Reid said, “We know that one of the ways that Donald Trump and Republicans are hoping to demagogue their way back into control of the White House and to hold on to control of the Senate, I mean, control of the House and gain control of the Senate, is the immigration issue.” She continued, “And they have been truly demagoguing an issue of a Georgia young woman who was killed, a Georgia young nursing student named Laken Riley.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump clinched their parties’ presidential nominations Tuesday with decisive victories in a slate of low-profile primaries, setting up a general election rematch that many voters do not want.
The outcome of contests across Georgia, Mississippi and Washington state was never in doubt. Neither Biden, a Democrat, nor Trump, a Republican, faced major opposition. But the magnitude of their wins gave each man the delegate majority he needed to claim his party’s nomination at the summertime national conventions.
Not even halfway through the presidential primary calendar, Tuesday marked a crystalizing moment for a nation uneasy with its choices in 2024.

Two top Kansas Republican Party officials are facing internal calls to resign over a viral online video showing people at a fundraiser kicking and beating a mannequin wearing a mask of Joe Biden, underscoring the national GOP’s deep divisions and its struggles to win over voters outside Donald Trump’s base.
Mike Brown, the Kansas GOP’s state chair, and Maria Holiday, the leader of the party in Johnson County in the Kansas City area, distanced themselves from the display at a Friday evening fundraiser for the county party. In a Facebook post, the state GOP blamed an outside vendor who rented space at the event to promote a martial arts school.

Former President Donald Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee for president, amassing enough delegates by winning Washington state's primary to clinch the GOP nomination.
Trump's win comes just hours after President Joe Biden became the presumptive Democratic nominee.
That means 2024 is officially the long-expected 2020 rematch of Trump versus Biden, with the official nominating conventions taking place this summer. Democrats in the Northern Mariana Islands headed to the polls Tuesday, giving Biden an early win.
The results in Georgia - a quick win for Biden and Trump in their respective primaries - got Biden over the needed 1,968 delegates to become his party's official nominee.

With the collapse of Haiti, the Biden administration has whipped out $300 million for an international aid effort, which like all the other ones, will probably go to beltway consultant contracts.
But true to form, it's doing very little about an expected migrant flotilla that is very likely to happen, even though it has authority to do so.
Witness this exchange between Rep. Matt Gaetz and three Pentagon officials associated with the region: My transcription:
GAETZ: ...we can't really tell because the gangs are in charge, the government has been thrown out, and as a Florida man, I'm deeply concerned about this wave of people that we're about to have, that we
