Vice President Kamala Harris made history when she became what is believed to be the first president or vice president to visit an abortion clinic on Thursday as the fight over abortion rights has been front and center since the overturning of Roe v Wade.
Harris met with abortion providers and staff at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota as part of a nationwide tour she has been on after the landmark decision was struck down in 2022.
The vice president has been a fierce defender of abortion rights within the Biden administration as the issue has proven to be a strong motivator for voters and

The Biden administration's student loan bankruptcy policy is making it easier for borrowers to walk away from their debt, experts say.
It was previously very difficult for Americans to part from their debt in court in a regular bankruptcy proceeding, but new rules are reportedly making this easier.
'We have gotten forgiveness for a number of clients under the new bankruptcy changes,' Malissa Giles, a consumer bankruptcy lawyer in Virginia, told CNBC.'The discharge is life changing for them and their families.'
At the end of 2022, a new process for discharging student debt in the event of bankruptcy was introduced by the Department of Justice and the Department of Education.

Joe Biden on Thursday traveled to Saginaw, Michigan to participate in a campaign event, but the press was frozen out.
He looked lost as usual.
WATCH: (Video) Biden falsely claimed “saved my wife, saved my cat, and saved my Corvette” in a housefire.
“You know what? All kidding aside, my fire department saved my life,” Biden said. “They saved my wife…and my Corvette and cat…” (Video) Biden has told a version of this lie many times.
It turns out the house didn’t burn down.
In 2004 lightning struck Biden’s home, starting a small kitchen fire (who hasn’t had a small kitchen fire?) – Jill reported the small fire and it

The Chinese operative, who was Rep. Eric Swalwell's (D-CA) personal companion and staffer, broke cover in an X-post of her sitting with a Global Times reporter nearly 10 years after her abrupt exit from the United States—shortly after the FBI warned Swalwell she was a foreign agent. “I had lunch with this lady today. Her name is Fang Fang, and U.S. media called her a ‘suspected Chinese spy,’ wrote Hu XiJin, along with the operative who became an omnipresent force in San Francisco Bay Democratic politics—with significant dalliances in the Midwest.

Palm Beach, Florida — Former President Donald Trump intends to endorse Senate Republican conference chairman Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) to replace Sen. John Thune (R-SD) as the next Senate GOP whip, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
Trump is expected to make the endorsement soon, perhaps in the coming days. Barrasso was considering a run for Senate Republican leader after the current leader, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), announced he was stepping down after the election and would not run again. Barrasso instead decided to run for whip, the number two position in Senate GOP leadership. Trump is expected to endorse Barrasso for that job soon, effectively locking it up for him.

Call me crazy, but when Democrats hyperventilate over something Republicans are doing politically and say the strategy is ill-advised or will lead to disaster, I tend to think the strategy might have some merit. Since that's been their reaction to the swift changes enacted at the Republican National Committee, you can assume they think the changes are good for Republicans - or at least are capable of being good for Republicans.Just four business days into their term, RNC chair Michael Whatley, co-chair Lara Trump, and chief of operations Chris LaCivita have been extremely busy restructuring the organization.

New York City commuters scrambled for cover after an 'aggressive' rider was shot in the head on a subway train during rush hour on Thursday.
The shooting occurred on a northbound A train in Brooklyn shortly after 4.45 pm, when a verbal dispute between two strangers escalated into a fight.
A 32-year-old man boarded the train at the Nostrand Avenue stop and was approached by a 36-year-old man who appeared to be 'aggressive and provocative,' according to witnesses.

Prosecutors in Donald Trump's hush money case have asked for a 30-day delay in the start of the trial to review new evidence.
The trial over claims the former president, 77, falsified records to cover up payments to porn star Stormy Daniels was due to begin on March 25.
But the start date could now be pushed back due to a recent disclosure of thousands of pages of new documents by prosecutors led by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. Trump last week asked Justice Juan Merchan to delay his trial on 34 counts until the Supreme Court finishes reviewing his claim of presidential immunity.

It is “obvious” that Democrats, comprised of the radical left, are “destroying this country,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said during an interview on Breitbart News Daily.
Johnson, who opened up the interview by denying any possible vice president rumors, laid out what he believes the mission statement for Republicans should be in the Senate, emphasizing that they are for “defending life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, the Constitution, you know, free markets. I mean, we’re for defending that.”

Former Trump administration Transportation Secretary Steven Mnuchin is reportedly pooling together an investment group that intends to purchase TikTok if the app is ultimately sold by its Chinese Communist Party-affiliated owner.
The news follows the Wednesday passage of a bipartisan bill in the House of Representatives that seeks to force TikTok to be sold by its Chinese parent company ByteDance or face a nationwide ban in the U.S.
The Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act easily passed in the House 352-65.
Republicans and Democrats have expressed concerns that TikTok is a national security threat.

While focusing on foreign over domestic concerns has become commonplace among our Democratic lawmakers, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer may have just crossed one line too many.
In a Thursday speech from the Senate floor, Schumer tried to persuade Israel to hold new elections.
Why? Well, because “Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu has lost his way by allowing his political survival to take the precedence over the best interests of Israel.”

The way the Biden White House has handled the death of Laken Riley has been nothing short of infuriating. But when one reviews the statement they made after her murder versus the one they released Thursday after Nex Benedict's death was ruled a suicide, it is blood-boiling. Riley, as RedState readers will recall, was the 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student who was killed in February while jogging on the University of Georgia campus. Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan illegal immigrant, has been charged with her kidnapping and murder.
