Remember when the United States taxed and spent its way out of debt and into prosperity?
Me neither. But that's what the Biden administration wants to try.
Earlier on Monday, President Joe Biden rolled out his massive, treasury-busting budget proposal, which includes, among other wackadoodle items, yet another attempt to tax the nation into prosperity. Fortunately, House Republicans are already preparing to round-file the whole thing.
House Republican leaders are blasting President Biden’s proposed plan for how to fund the government in fiscal year 2025.
"The price tag of President Biden’s proposed budget is yet another glaring reminder of this Administration’s insatiable appetite for reckless spending

"The Purge" is coming to Pittsburgh between the hours of 3 a.m. and 7 a.m., and if that works out well enough for the city's criminal class, maybe they'll expand those hours.
For those not in the know, "The Purge" is a series of dystopian thrillers — the first was decent, but the four sequels proved increasingly unnecessary — set in a near-future United States where, for one night each year, all crime is legal. Whatever it is you want to do, from shoplifting to killing your mother-in-law, it's all good.
Maybe the changes being made to the Pittsburgh Police Department's rules and hours aren't quite that extreme.

The contempt that far-left protesters show for historical artifacts, specifically priceless works of art, has always been sickening, but now has just gotten despicable.
Picking up where the insufferable climate protesters left off, a group of anti-Israel activists at the University of Cambridge in England destroyed a priceless 1914 painting of Arthur James Balfour by artist Philip Alexius de László.
Posting a video of the incident to their account, Palestine Action, on the social media platform X, the protesters spray painted red paint on the painting and then slashed it without any hint of shame.

Boy, are they desperate.
The internal polling on African Americans must be through the roof for Donald Trump.
After his nasty dishonest SOTU Address last night – the Biden team released a new ad on Friday comparing Trump supporters to the KKK.
The Biden ad shows images of Donald Trump with KKK marchers and a noose.
Why is this not flagged by Google-YouTube for violent content and misinformation? [Video]
As everyone knows the KKK was the militant wing of the Democrat Party.
When the Civil War ended, and after Republican President Abraham Lincoln liberated the slaves, Democrats initiated Jim Crow laws to punish blacks.
Democrats continued for decades to discriminate against blacks.

No matter how much I might disagree with a person, I am unlikely to call that person a "heartless monster" and/or "terrorist," especially when that person happens to be a United States combat veteran.
Rep. Brian Mast (R-Fla.) is a U.S. Army combat veteran, having served in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Stepping on an IED in September 2010 "as he cleared a lane for Rangers during an attack in the Arghandab District of Kandahar" cost him both legs. In January 2015 he volunteered with the IDF, and was stationed just outside of Tel Aviv, "where he packed medical kits and moved supplies around, including some heavy lifting."

Many have speculated that Joe Biden was hopped up on something during Thursday's State of the Union. Whatever stimulation he received before taking the podium, it wasn't enough to stop him from calling Laken Riley by the wrong name and proclaiming that women have "electrical power," among other flubs.
Somehow, things managed to get much worse on Friday. After an ill-advised impromptu presser on the tarmac of Joint Base Andrews, the president traveled to Pennsylvania for a campaign rally. Let's just say the upper wore off, leading to perhaps his most senile speech yet.

Can an illegally recorded phone call be used to form the basis of a prosecution? That's a question that is about to become very relevant following a bombshell revelation regarding the infamous phone call between Donald Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
On the call, Trump can be heard telling Raffensperger, "I just want to find 11,780 votes." That statement was one of the centerpieces of the former president's second impeachment. Was it definitive, though? In context, Trump had also asked Raffensperger to "find the fraud," indicating that he thought there were legitimate votes left to be uncovered.
Regardless, Fulton County DA Fani Willis used the phone call

Laken Riley’s mother spoke out for the first time following President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address where he botched her dead daughter’s name.
On Friday, Allyson Phillips slammed Biden for referring to her daughter as "Lincoln" rather than "Laken" in his speech.
Riley, a 22-year-old Georgia nursing student, was murdered last month by a Venezuelan illegal immigrant who had been residing in the United States illegally.
Responding to a Facebook comment, Phillips did not beat around the bush in her criticism toward the president, saying “Biden does not even KNOW my child’s name – it’s pathetic!

Thursday night’s State of the Union speech was a doozy. Joe Biden, hopped up on some cocktail of energizing substances, delivered a hyperpartisan speech that devoted more time to attacking Donald Trump and anyone else who doesn’t fall in line behind the far left’s policy proposals than to assessing the state of our country. Let’s call it what it was: a campaign speech. To quote Erick Erickson, the State of the Union was “partisan and not memorable and beneath the dignity of the office.”
Sen. Katie Britt (R-Ala.) has garnered mixed reviews for her official rebuttal to Biden’s speech, but she wasn’t the only one to issue a response.

The following is a public service announcement from PJ Media.
Be it known that on Sunday, March 10 at 2 a.m., Daylight Saving Time will come into effect for most of the United States. You must move all clocks one hour ahead, according to the instructions issued to you when you were a child.
Remember: "Spring Forward, Fall Back" with the word "Spring" referring to the season, not jumping like a kangaroo, and the word "Fall" also referring to the season and not something we might expect Joe Biden to do while walking up the steps to Air Force 1.

Joe Biden’s fiery but mostly peaceful State of the Union address prompted many to suggest that he had been drugged before the speech to ensure an energetic performance.
I don’t doubt that many wags made those comments in jest, but it may actually be the truth. A psychiatrist who specializes in elderly dementia patients told the Washington Times that Biden displayed behaviors indicative of stimulant usage to conceal cognitive decline during his State of the Union address on Thursday.
While Democrats were rushing to claim that his performance proved that he was physically and mentally capable of handling the presidency, Dr. Carole Lieberman, a forensic psychiatrist based in Beverly Hills, Calif.,

Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse allegedly spent the last 17 years in the Senate pushing legislation that directly benefits the environmentalist groups that pay his wife.
A 21-page ethics complaint, filed by Judicial Watch last month, alleges Whitehouse abused his congressional position to enrich himself and his wife, Sandra Thorton Whitehouse, president of the consulting firm Ocean Wonks. She also raked in millions consulting for Ocean Conservancy and sat on the advisory board at AltaSea from 2015 to 2018, says the complaint.
Whitehouse is Democrats’ lead man in their effort to destroy the credibility of the Supreme Court with sham ethics grievances and dark money allegations.
