Why GA Judge Won’t Disqualify Fani Willis

Any rational person familiar with the behavior of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis during the prosecutorial misconduct hearings that finally ended last Friday has probably concluded that her conduct has created the “appearance of impropriety.” This, according to defense lawyers for former President Trump and several co-defendants, is sufficient to disqualify Willis and the Fulton County DA’s office from prosecuting the RICO case they launched last August. Indeed, defense attorney Harry MacDougald cited six examples of actual conflicts of interest, any one of which is sufficient to disqualify Willis and her office. Yet it’s unlikely that it will happen.

This article makes several good points. I hope the judge has the courage to do the right thing. He probably won't get elected in that county anyway.

I believe the key thought here is that Judge McAfee is indeed a Coward.

Da Judge may have to face the voters. But he was initially appointed by Governor Brian Kemp who could appoint him to another position. If he doesn't disqualify Fat Fani and her Boy Toy the Georgia legislature should remove them.

Judge McAfee donated to Fani’s campaign. She will skate. He’s a fan and help never disqualify her. Fulton County is as corrupt as the Bidens

Ths isn't surprising. I predicted that the fix was in before the trail even started. You can also tell by the judge's questions.

The judge has to choose between following the law or keeping the Dem mob happy.
Given that I have to face myself in the mirror every morning, I would choose the former.
If it costs me my job, so be it.

If the judge had any iota of Integrity, he would have recused himself from the case, as he used to work for the defendant, and even donated to her campaign. She'll skate, and on to another appeal.

He isn't known as ole judge Fannysfan for nothing. Of course the fix is in. This is a Democrat run city. Nothing will come between a Democrat run court including the truth and justice.

How could Judge McAfee even preside over this case? He worked for her in the DA’s office. You can see he is prejudiced in her favor and that is concerning. It seems to be a given in the legal community that they are going to get President Trump by hook or crook. Sadly, our Department of Justice is no longer interested in justice, only retribution. These awful judges and prosecutors are a disgrace to their profession. What is disgusting is that Fani will likely remain on the case which means corruption will be rewarded.

judge mcafee, if he does not administer proper and adequate justice on fani and what's his name, will be setting himself up for a Constitutional crisis of gigantic proportions because
= on appeal ALL of the mistakes and omissions will be brought into the light and he will be holding the bag with fani and what's his name taking more trips to exotic places to continue their .... ah, forget it!!

I was expecting as much, but only now do I find an explanation of the judge's coddling of Fani Willis in his courtroom. The fix is in.

Since Fani and her lover boy put on such a disgusting performance in public I think it will take more courage for the judge to support her than if everything had been done behind closed doors. Her lying, cheating, disrespect, theft and disgrace has been on display for the world to see. As Donald Trump always says, "we'll see what happens."

#1 Agreed.
Also the judge should find that Fani Willis did in fact put her dress on backwards and shall henceforth be named "Wrong Way Willis."

I remain hopeful. I presume the judge is being incredibly polite and "Kind" to Fanni/Wade etal because when he does finally Rule, on the basis of the facts to boot them from the case, and likely from any future employment. He wants to ensure the "PartisanRACIST!!! Card cannot be played against him.
This case, and Fanni's filings in it went from "There was NO Personal relationship of any kind! And it is racist to even accuse us!", to.."Ok here WAS a personal relationship, but it started way after the case was initiated, and after Wade was Hired". To NO MONEY ever changed hands. ...To Money changed hands, it was ALL in cash, so that everything was 50/50, no one benefited. (I am surprised the defense team didn't make a bit more of the numerous references to the Porsche Experience, an afternoon there costs as much as those cruises did, even an evening meal there is one of the priciest meals in Town)
The phone records...Fanni et all subpoenaed and received all of Trumps and the other 19 defendants, not just the fact that they made calls and sent texts, but the actual texts themselves, as well as voice mails, in order to charge collusion/coordination-RICO.The thousands of texts and calls between Wills and Wade(based only upon HIS phone usage) are from a time both have testified they were "Barely acquainted, all contact was strictly business", but most of those thousands of calls and texts are after business hours, many very late at night, AND the majority were initiated by Fanni, not by Wade. The calls are broken down by day of the week, hour of the day, and incoming/outgoing. All they had to do to PROVE it was business was release the actual texts of some of those calls, where the topic WAS business. They did not, the judge surely noted that..
But MOST importantly...The grand jury indictments that led to the defendants being charged, are on the basis of "They appeared to..." Violate certain Laws. Fanni etal made a Federal Case out of it, on very thin grounds, THEN "appears to" have done the EXACT same violations to prosecute them, and in this set of hearings.
The Fani Willis indictments:
Violation of oath by public officer
False statements and writings
Filing false documents
Solicitation of violation of oath by public officer.
She APPEARS To have done ALL of these, not just in the sideshow hearings, but in the Main Case, and in the Wade Divorce case..ALL of which "REQUIRE" a Caesars Wife level of pristine, and an absolute adherence to all Laws. Just the fact that SHE signed off on the interrogatories in the Wade divorce, had 9 other of her DA Office employees ad THEIR names to them, and then filed copies with THIS court?. Is enough to make it a slam dunk...and get her entire office fired, likely disbarred. That Offense is not against Trump etal...it is a against a "Long suffering" Black woman, still married to Wade.
Everybody in that district knows...Willis ran for the job and made the "Prosecutorial discretion" decision to Go After Trump, as chosen pathway to Fame and Fortune, so does the Judge. "If you are gonna come..Ya better come Correct" is a street standard. And one firmly based in Law.as well.
