Nikki Haley suffered another blowout loss to Donald Trump in Michigan on Tuesday. It’s not a primary—you cannot say that when one candidate consistently gets put through the shredder in every contest. Haley has yet to win anything but insists on giving the GOP base a choice. Does she not know that the party has already done so? There may be some ambivalence and skepticism about a third Trump run, but what is unequivocal is that the Republican Party does not want Nikki Haley.
Haley got damaged out of the gate in Iowa, and her aspirations to be the 2024 Republican nominee should have been cremated

The southern border has seen enormous amounts of fentanyl pouring into the United States with millions of illegal migrants, thanks to President Joe Biden’s reckless open border policies.
In 2023 alone, Border Patrol agents seized enough fentanyl to kill every American in the country, confiscating 2,700 pounds of fentanyl— which did not include the amount seized at ports of entry.
According to the president of the GAI, Peter Schweizer, Biden refuses to confront China about their production of fentanyl that ends up in the hands of illegal migrants because of the president’s ties to the communist country.

In what is becoming a grim pattern in a nation suffering under the Biden Administration's mass migration policies, another innocent young person has lost his life at the hands of illegal aliens.
On the afternoon of Thursday, Feb. 8., Jeremy Poou-Caceres, who had just celebrated his second birthday, was walking with his mother in the 1400 block of Kanawha Street in Langley Park, Md. Suddenly, a shootout broke out, and the pair were caught in the crossfire. When the smoke cleared, Rose Carceras was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening wound to her leg. Her toddler son was taken to Children's National Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson must have fallen asleep last night watching a vintage '80s Chuck Norris movie as part of her preparation to hear oral arguments today in the Garland v. Cargill bumpstock ban lawsuit because her understanding of firearms is even less realistic than your typical Cannon Films production.
While I don't have the transcript yet for you — arguments are going on as I write this column — the Firearms Policy Coalition has been doing the good work of posting highlights to Twitter/X.
(Don't miss the update below from the official transcript.)
When it was time for the Biden Department of Justice to present its side to the Court,

If President Dementia finally falters for good and Vice President Cackler is somehow persuaded to allow herself to be eased into a comfortable and lucrative retirement, and if the persistent rumors about a Michelle Obama presidential campaign prove to be just that — rumors — the Commissar of the California Soviet Socialist Republic, Gavin Newsom, is waiting in the wings. In 2028, he won’t have so many people ahead of him in the Democrat food chain, and he could conceivably turn out to be the occupant of the Oval Office someday. But some of his recent dealings in the tarnished Golden State may end up derailing his ambitions

It seems like just earlier this morning I was writing about the idiot who set himself on fire and died to stop a genocide that isn't happening in support of a group of actual genocidal killers, [Steve, it was just earlier this morning —editor] but I've already come across someone even stupider.
And this one graduated from Harvard.
Joy Reid, the MSNBC host of "The ReidOut" (SWTDT?) since 2020 and a fixture on the left-wing network for a decade or longer, on Monday posted a TikTok video of herself going on an unhinged rant against having babies.

Everyone knows that Donald Trump was the 45th president of the United States, but if Meta, the sinister and malevolent megacorporation formerly known as Facebook, gets its way, that fact will soon go down to the memory hole. The inconvenient little speed bump of 2017 to 2021, delaying our arrival at the socialist internationalist paradise our moral superiors envision for us, will be entirely forgotten as if it had never existed at all.
We see this in a small but glaring fact: Meta’s AI lists Old Joe Biden as the 45th president, omitting mention of Donald Trump as president altogether. Donald Trump? He does not exist and never existed.

Because writing about media bias is one of my main functions here, my workday morning news perusal always begins with The New York Times and The Washington Post. I'm inundated with more water-carrying for the Democrats in the name of journalism before noon my time than most people will experience in a year. For the most part, I am immune to the fantastical rewriting of reality that MSM hacks do in service of the Democratic National Committee.
Then on Tuesday morning, I came across this headline in The Washington Post: "The economy is roaring. Immigration is a key reason."
I immediately wondered if I might be concussed.

For decades, American sports fans welcomed Bob Costas into their homes with open arms as he offered thoughtful commentary and analysis in regard to sports.
That entire time, the veteran TV personality apparently held a deep personal hatred for so many of us.
On Sunday during an interview on CNN, Costas referred to people who support former President Donald Trump’s bid for the White House — people who need immediate relief from inflation and illegal immigrant crime — as “toxic” and delusional.”
The comments were made as the 71-year-old attacked Trump while speaking to network host Michael Smerconish.

Donald Trump Jr. received a letter on Monday containing an unidentified white powder that came out when the letter was opened, the Daily Beast reported, citing "three sources familiar with the matter." Don Jr. also spoke about the white powder in a conversation with the Daily Caller.
Fire trucks and respondents with hazmat suits were seen in photos at the home in Jupiter, Florida.
As of Monday night, it is still not clear what the powder was, given that the report was "inconclusive." As a spokesperson for Don Jr. told the Daily Beast, "[t]he test results of the substance came up inconclusive on what it was exactly,

Sometimes, a story comes along that really burns one's bacon. This is one of those. The subject of the story is one Leonal Moreno, an immigrant (I have been unable to determine whether he is here legally or illegally) from Venezuela and an "influencer" (as if you needed another reason to loathe that word) who openly brags about living off the American taxpayer and shouts to raise support for the Times Square shooter.
In other words, Leonal Moreno is a parasite and an advocate for attempted murder. He says:
"I invite you to find [his] mother and [for] all of us to unite to pay the fines

Donald Trump and his sons have appealed the stupefying $454 million (including interest) New York civil fraud judgment determined by Judge Arthur Engoron. The former president was accused of inflating the value of his assets to obtain better financing and deals for his properties.
It is unclear as of this writing whether Trump has posted bond, which according to law could require the full amount of the massive fine. Trump and his lawyers argued that the judge clearly overstepped his bounds:
The former president’s lawyers filed notices of appeal Monday asking the state’s mid-level appeals court to overturn Judge Arthur Engoron’s Feb. 16 verdict
