Kamala Harris recently took to Twitter and heaped praise on a pair of supposedly non-partisan poll workers, saying that ‘our democracy’ could not function without such people.
She was almost immediately called out however, by sharp-eyed Twitter/X users who recognized one of the men as a far left activist.
What are the odds that Harris didn’t know this when she sent her initial tweet?
FOX News reports: Kamala Harris praises ‘nonpartisan poll worker,’ which immediately backfires when people learn who he is...Vice President Harris took to social media to praise the efforts of poll workers amid the presidential primaries and just months ahead of the 2024 election, but her complimentary remarks quickly backfired.

President Joe Biden met with border agents along the banks of the Rio Grande on Thursday during his visit to the southern border as Donald Trump got his own tour 324 miles away.
The president's trip panned by critics as a campaign 'photo op' began with his motorcade driving along the 20-foot fence separating the United States and Mexico.
The 81-year-old then met with members of the Border Patrol, hours after the head of their union warned Biden to 'keep our name out of your mouth'. The 2024 rivals headed to Texas with recent polls showing immigration becoming the number one concern for most Americans.

Vulnerable Democrat Sens. Bob Casey (D-PA), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), and Jon Tester (D-MT) are facing criticism for their soft-on-crime voting record after the murder of Laken Riley.
Riley, a 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student killed allegedly by an illegal alien released into the United States, is the latest American woman to fall victim to the federal government’s inability to enforce immigration law. The tragedy has cast renewed attention on the fate of Kate Steinle, a 32-year-old murdered in 2015 allegedly by a seven-time felon, five-time deported illegal alien, Jose Garcia Zarate. He was acquitted of murder but convicted for federal gun charges in association with the murder.

President Joe Biden may send more American weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, even though Congress is stalling additional funding to replace them, according to reports.
The Pentagon has not made a final decision, but officials are considering the idea as another way to support Ukraine despite the potential political pitfalls for the Biden administration.
Depleting American stockpiles in order to support Ukraine would anger many Republicans who believe Biden has to prioritize the defense of the United States first.

During a visit to the United States-Mexico border, former President Donald Trump says he has spoken with the Angel Parents of Laken Riley, the 22-year-old nursing student murdered allegedly by an illegal alien in Athens, Georgia.
“Reports have come out, and we’ve been covering them, and everybody’s been … and I spoke to the parents of an incredible young lady, and you saw her the other day, you saw what happened the other day in Georgia,” Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee for president, said in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Thursday.

Joe Biden arrived in Brownsville, Texas on Thursday for a drive-by photo-op border visit.
Brownsville is a desolate stretch with virtually no illegal alien invasion compared to other hot spots such as El Paso and Eagle Pass.
Trump supporters protested Biden’s arrival.
WATCH: (X Video) Biden took 94 executive actions in his first 100 days in office to weaken border security. Since then, millions of military-age men from Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and China have invaded the US.

For only the second time since he came into office, President Joe Biden will visit the U.S.-Mexico border.
But, as has been reported, the location the 81-year-old Democrat chose to finally make an appearance seems to be generating more scorn. And in contrast to the location former President Donald Trump has chosen to visit, the difference couldn’t be more obvious.
“Biden will visit Brownsville, Texas, which ranks as the 29th-most trafficked town by illegal border-crossers, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection,” Fox News noted. “Former President Trump, meanwhile,

Late Wednesday afternoon, the Supreme Court announced they’d hear the case on presidential immunity as it relates to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s January 6 criminal case against former President Trump. Naturally, this decision left the liberal media — including ABC and NBC on Wednesday night and Thursday morning — enraged this could further delay what they hope leads to Trump’s imprisonment.
Instead of letting the D.C. Court of Appeals’s decision against Trump stand, the Court decided it would weigh in on whether a president is immune from prosecution, which is, in fact, a big deal. In other words, the kind of topic the high court exists to answer.

After several dramatic twists and turns in the Will He or Won't He Appear for a Deposition saga involving Hunter Biden, the First Son finally sat for a closed-door interview with members and staff counsel of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees on Wednesday, and the transcript has now been released. The transcript is 229 pages, so it will take some time to read and digest, but I wanted to go ahead and share it here (it's linked above and may be viewed below) and share an initial observation regarding the maturity level of one Eric Swalwell (D-CA).

The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) drew a stark contrast between how former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden treat border patrol agents, declaring Trump shows agents “respect” while “Biden falsely accuses them of crimes.”
The union, which notes it represents some “18,000 Border Patrol Agents and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol,” took to X on Thursday to lay out the “difference” between Biden and Trump. (X) “President Trump treats BP agents with respect, supports their mission and listens to their ideas,” a post from the union’s official account reads. “Biden falsely accuses agents of crimes, burned the border to the ground and

Freshman Alabama Sen. Katie Britt has been chosen by Republicans to deliver the rebuttal to President Biden's State of the Union address next week.
The GOP's rising star won her Senate seat in 2022 after serving as a long-time staffer of outgoing Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby.
Britt is the first woman to hold an Alabama Senate seat and at 42, the youngest Republican woman to be elected to the Senate. Trump had endorsed Britt in her 2022 primary after flipping on former Rep. Mo Brooks, who he'd first endorsed. (Photo) The president will address a joint session of Congress before her rebuttal
