During one of the early commercial breaks during the 2024 Super Bowl, Come Near aired its ad featuring scenes of people of all sorts washing someone’s feet in emulation of Jesus. But many felt the ad completely missed the Biblical point. [SNIP] The ad shows a total of twelve scenes of one individual washing another’s feet. Most appear to be white people doing the washing. None feature a minority washing a white man’s feet, and some even seem to be telling white Christians not to be bigoted. That last one, in particular, features a white priest washing the feet of what appears to be a member of the LGBTQ community.

One of the reasons that Joe Biden is doing so badly in the polls is that the American people regard him as a failure when it comes to securing the border. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump does much better on the subject because people believe he would do a better job than Biden. They believe that with good reason, because Trump did do a better job. That's made the Biden team and Democrats desperate to change that equation. That's why they were salivating to have the talking point of Republicans rejecting a border bill so they could try to claim that it's the Republicans who don't want the border secure.

As they have done for the past several Super Bowl broadcasts, the NFL opened the Super Bowl with a performance of the song Lift Every Voice and Sing, the so-called “black national anthem.” But not every voice appreciated the left-wing gesture.
The song was performed by R&B singer, Grammy Award winner, and actress Andra Day: [video]
The reaction was immediate and many were not enthused. [Tweets]

No joke. He really thinks you are that stupid, America. After driving up the price of food 33 percent in three years thanks to his disastrous inflationary policies, Joe Biden is portraying himself as standing up for the little guy by attacking the snack food industry over “shrinkflation”, selling smaller packages at the same price to compensate for Biden’s inflation.
On Super Bowl Sunday, the White House posted a video on its social media platforms featuring Biden complaining that there are fewer snack chips in bags, smaller sports drink containers and–what makes ice cream lover Joe the “most angry”–smaller cartons of ice cream.

Former Dutch Prime Minister Dries van Agt and his wife Eugene have died by state-sponsored suicide.
The couple died on Monday "hand-in-hand" in their hometown of Nijmegen, Netherlands. They were both 93 years old when they decided to die by euthanasia. Both of them were reportedly in failing health.
While duo euthanasia remains relatively rare in the Netherlands, it is rising. According to the New York Post, 29 couples opted for lethal injection in 2022. This compared to 16 couples who died by euthanasia in 2021 and 13 in 2020.

This week we celebrate the anniversary of the release of what is considered one of the all-time comedy classic movies, “Blazing Saddles.” While the film is built on the framework of satirizing Westerns, creator Mel Brooks wove in numerous other elements of modern social commentary and even took things to a self-referential limit by having his universe physically break through into the contemporary era.
Writing at CNN, Noah Berlatsky looked over the general support for the movie over the generations and displayed that he is bothered by some of those who have shown affection for the film. As a result, he painfully tries to contort things

The finer details behind Donald Trump's plan to deport millions of illegal immigrants are starting to emerge.
In a report published Sunday evening, Axios outlined how Trump plans to use the power of the state to forcibly deport millions of people with no legal right to be in the United States. The outlet noted:
Donald Trump's plan to crack down on immigration includes using a range of tools to deport millions of people in the U.S. each year — from obscure laws to military funds to law enforcement officers from all levels of government.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview released Sunday that “enough” of the Israeli hostages captured by Hamas in its October 7 onslaught are still alive to justify Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.
Netanyahu told ABC’s This Week program that “enough” hostages are alive in Hamas territory “to warrant the kind of efforts that we’re doing.”
“We’re going to try to do our best to get all those who are alive back and, frankly, also the bodies of the dead,” he added.
Netanyahu, after noting that one Palestinian civilian has been killed for every Hamas terrorist, assured that the Israeli military is trying to minimize civilian casualties.

This bill was introduced in response to the failure of its so-called bipartisan predecessor, championed by Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell and his Oklahoma-lackey Sen. James Lankford. The previous legislation that supposedly bundled border and foreign aid would have codified the ongoing southern border invasion into law by largely preventing meaningful action

Donald Trump spent the weekend telling senators they should not pass more unconditional U.S. foreign aid. More than a dozen Republicans ignored him Sunday, moving forward on a bill to send $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
The Senate voted 67-27 to advance the foreign aid supplemental spending bill that doesn’t include border provisions, moving it another step closer to passage. That still isn’t guaranteed, as leaders haven’t yet reached an agreement on GOP-demanded border amendments. The package faces some resistance from Republicans, who say they won’t back further aid to Ukraine unless it’s amended to include border policy changes.

Late last week President Biden dispatched administration officials to conciliate offended opponents of Israel’s war on Hamas. They were sent — where else? — to America’s jihad capital (i.e., Dearborn). The delegation included deputy national security adviser Jon Finer and USAID administrator Samantha Power. Their object was to smooth relations with the locals.
Readers with a long memory may recall Samantha Power as the author of “A Problem From Hell“ and an Israel hater who served in the Obama administration. Power now serves as the administrator of the United States Agency for International Development. She and her friends are themselves a problem from hell.

Democrats and their close friends and allies in the activist media have been in full-on spin doctor mode ever since Special Counsel Robert Hur released his report regarding President Joe Biden’s alleged mishandling of classified documents. Predictably, the Special Counsel refrained from recommending charges, but the rest of his report was quite damning when it comes to the issue of Biden’s age and cognitive problems. Now, the left is doing its best to assure the nation that the president is still fit for office despite Hur’s contention that he is an “elderly man with a poor memory.”

For the last couple of days, the news world has been abuzz with the Hur Report, its condemnation of President Biden's mental state, and its implications for the 2024 Presidential race. Day by day, more and more Democrats are showing some willingness to yank the rug out from under old Joe and sub in someone else. There is a lot of noise about someone either belling the cat and convincing Joe (or, more likely, Jill) to step down for "reasons of health" or "family matters" or to outright 25th Amendment the old man into the next time zone, which would put Kamala Harris at the Resolute Desk and,

Even now, after an agreement was brokered between Israel and Hamas by Qatar to deliver medication to the hostages in Gaza, via France to Qatar and then through Egypt, the ICRC refuses to touch the medicines and has said that it wants nothing to do with them.
"We know that the medications effectively entered into Gaza. The modalities of their transfer to the hostages were dealt with under Qatar's mediation. We now expect to receive verifiable proof that the medications have reached their beneficiaries." — Unnamed French official, Times of Israel, February 6, 2024.

Every day the Israeli Defense Forces find more proof of the perfidy of the UN and UNRWA. Did you guess that the UN’s demand for a quick ceasefire was intended to conceal this? If so, you guessed right. This week, among other things, the IDF discovered Hamas Intelligence Headquarters and an enormous tunnel beneath UNRWA HQ in Gaza equipped with a huge server and data farm which was receiving its electricity from UNRWA sources. I’d hate to prejudge the honesty of the UNRWA officials who claim they’d no idea what was going on under their feet --

The thunderous, blind rage with which Democrats and their media stooges are greeting the special counsel report on Joe Biden is a thing to behold.
With apologies to Jack Nicholson and “A Few Good Men,” they can’t handle the truth.
It’s as if Dems and their handmaidens really believed Biden was fit for duty, that the stumbling, mumbling, confusion and hiding were normal.
And now they are wild with fury because they’ve been embarrassed by the revelation of explosive facts they should have known.
That’s a possible explanation, but not the likely one.
A more reasonable view is that their fury stems from the fact that they, too, were part of a great con job,

Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush may be headed for a defeat in this year’s primary battle amid a federal investigation and strong criticisms of her positions on the Israel-Hamas war, a new poll suggests.
Bush, a member of the so-called “squad” of left-wing House Democrats, is trailing her main primary challenger, Prosecuting Attorney of St. Louis County Wesley Bell, by 22 points with about six months until voters in Missouri’s first congressional district go to the polls for the primary election in August, according to a new poll by MOScout and Remington, a Republican polling firm. Bush is currently under federal investigation for alleged misuse of federal security money, and

It was easily one of the notable moments of President Joe Biden's Thursday press conference in which he angrily denounced Special Counsel Robert Hur for highlighting his memory loss several times in his report. Yet Politico neglected to mention how Biden seemingly failed to recall the name of the church he got the rosary from to memorialize his deceased son Beau.
Here's that highly embarrassing moment for Biden that shocked viewers yet Politico disingenuously left out of their reports of the press conference. (X Video)

I wrote more in a story earlier about a report on Jill Biden's handler role of her husband, the freakout that she had at him and his aides, when no one stopped him during a disastrous press conference, and how she was the one who pushed him to run because of her hatred for former President Donald Trump. Now, she is showing that handler role again, with a statement on the report issued by Special Counsel Robert Hur in the classified document investigation. The statement was issued in her name, as part of a fundraising email sent out by the Biden campaign.

Montana Republican Tim Sheehy joined Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Saturday for his first interview since receiving former President Donald Trump’s highly influential endorsement in Montana’s race for the U.S. Senate and said it is “a great honor” to have the backing of the 45th president.
“Well, first of all, of course, it’s a great honor to have President Trump’s endorsement,” Sheehy, a former Navy SEAL, said. “We’ve been supportive of him since even before the campaign started. We’ve been very vocal about our support of the America First policies and agenda, which he skillfully enacted during his time in the White House.”

The Israeli Army in the Gaza Strip slaying thousands of Muslim Brotherhood brothers (Hamas) came upon evidence of UNRWA employees participating in the satanic events of October 7, which should not surprise because UNRWA has been a major player in the antisemitic fantasy of a “Palestinian people” whose homeland was allegedly stolen from them by the Jews, the lie that justifies the very existence of UNRWA in support of the “victims of Zionism.”
UNRWA’s brief for 75 years has been supporting millions of “Palestinian refugees” when, truth be told, there is nothing Palestinian about these people. And neither are they refugees.

Napoleon Bonaparte is reputed to have originated the expression, “Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.” It’s to be hoped that, when it comes to the Democrats and their reckoning with Biden’s profoundly diminished brain power, Republicans heed this advice.
In 2020, when Biden ran for office, conservatives warned that (a) he was a deep well of corruption, kind of like an unplumbed cesspool; (b) he was never the brightest bulb in the box, to begin with; (c) he was showing early signs, if not of clinical dementia, but at least of age-related diminished capacity; and (d) that he seemed to be in

Glassbrook Elementary is located in Hayward, California which is south of Oakland on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. The school has just under 500 students and lately it has been struggling with falling test scores. But that didn't stop the school from signing a $250,000, three-year contract with a company called "Woke Kindergarden" which, as the name suggests, provides training to teachers (but not to students in this case) on how to fight white supremacy.
One teacher at the school, whose name is Tiger Craven-Neeley, felt the expense wasn't justified under the circumstances. Funding for the Woke Kindergarten program came from federal money which was intended
