The Twilight of Joe Biden

Original Article

We may well look back on February 8, 2024 as the specific moment in time Joe Biden’s bid for reelection was lost. The report of the special prosecutor issued this afternoon effectively said Biden was guilty of willfully mishandling classified documents—but that he could not be successfully prosecuted (and would not be until he was out of office anyway) because he is a nice senile old man and no jury would convict him. Democrats and others expressed outrage at the way special prosecutor Robert Hur chose to explain this decision—but what else exactly was Hur supposed to say? He had to produce a report. He had to lay out why

Hur's job is to prosecute, not make jury decisions, or provide a defense of senility, which is not included in the statutes as a personal defense. What scrap from an unprofessional prosecutor!

The investigations of this sort are supposed to be objective and strictly factual...The Laws were willfully broken or not. Instead for Hillary and Biden both "Investigators" added purely subjective commentary about what a "Theoretical Jury, or prosecutor MIGHT think" about those facts, even more egregious in this case he labeled Biden as a "Nice, Well meaning, elderly gentleman"...though with diminished capacities and memory. Trumps "special investigator/prosecutors" never fail to subjectively slander him with implications of being mean, nasty, combative, nefarious...and madly driven by bad intentions....that any jury will be willing to convict, for ANYTHING. PS: Joe Biden seldom ever even visited the "Biden Center" offices(taking up an entire floor in a Carpenters Union owned building), but HUNTER was there, a LOT, and held meetings there with foreign big money investors in HIS schemes.

FTA: “ These are separate cases, and it’s also true that Biden didn’t seek to hide documents while Trump did.” Joke Bidet hid them for years until he got caught. I was unaware that Trump hid documents. I thought it was a negotiation of whether he would be able to keep some documents and that he was simply told to put a better lock on them while the negotiations continued. Negotiation about ownership is a civil matter under the Presidential Records Act, right? Is Trump accused of hiding documents? Presumably documents that were found during the raid which Trump did not disclose possession of to the National Archives. Or, since pudhurts absolves Joke Bidet of hiding documents is he just casting aspersions at Trump?

Right about Biden. TDS about Trump. The BIG difference is that Trump was PRESIDENT and had documents like all Presidents do when they leave office. PRESIDENTS have to power to declassify, which Trump DID. Trump's documents were secured. Precedence is that the government and former presidents negotiate the handling of documents over many months of discussion. That wasn't OK with the Deep State and the Get Trump crowd. Biden, as VP, had NO right to documents, nor power to declassify. Biden's documents were in an unsecured garage. Biden is GUILTY but pardoned by being Non Compos Mentis. Trump is innocent. Podhoretz is an idiot.

So funny, the Hilary Clinton defense technique ("I don't recall") fails because Biden is at the same time trying to say he is physically and mentally capable. I am bad with dates too but I believe I could convince an interrogator that I wasn't brain dead.

John, you idiot, the difference between Pedo Joe and Trump on classified documents is that Trump, as president, had every right to possession of his documents whereas Joe, as senator and VP had no authority to possess his documents and the only way he could possess them at all was to have STOLEN them. There is absolutely no comparison and you know it.

Napoleon Bonaparte is reputed to have originated the expression, “Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.” It’s to be hoped that, when it comes to the Democrats and their reckoning with Biden’s profoundly diminished brain power, Republicans heed this advice. In 2020, when Biden ran for office, conservatives warned that (a) he was a deep well of corruption, kind of like an unplumbed cesspool; (b) he was never the brightest bulb in the box, to begin with; (c) he was showing early signs, if not of clinical dementia, but at least of age-related diminished capacity; and (d) that he seemed to be in

Glassbrook Elementary is located in Hayward, California which is south of Oakland on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. The school has just under 500 students and lately it has been struggling with falling test scores. But that didn't stop the school from signing a $250,000, three-year contract with a company called "Woke Kindergarden" which, as the name suggests, provides training to teachers (but not to students in this case) on how to fight white supremacy. One teacher at the school, whose name is Tiger Craven-Neeley, felt the expense wasn't justified under the circumstances. Funding for the Woke Kindergarten program came from federal money which was intended

Islamabad — Independent candidates affiliated with jailed Pakistani political leader Imran Khan’s party won the most National Assembly seats in Pakistan’s general election, delivering a surprise victory in a vote marred by a slow count and rigging allegations. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, independent candidates won 98 seats so far, with 22 seats still unclaimed. The majority of the independents are affiliated with Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz party (PMLN), headed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, which had been favored to sweep the polls, has so far won the second-most seats with 69. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has the third-most with 51 seats.

Republicans on up to former President Donald Trump have for three years now been making credible cases alleging the Biden administration at the highest levels has been using the FBI and the Dept. of Justice as political weapons to use against a potential general election opponent. A new story that dropped Friday night detailing Biden's growing frustrations with Attorney General Merrick Garland after the release of the Hur report lent more credence to those allegations, with sources stating Biden had privately been "grumbling" to those close to him about the fact that Garland didn't "move sooner" on the Trump election interference investigation - because maybe by this point

Friday saw the first White House press briefing after President Biden’s embarrassing and disastrous press conference to address his mental acuity following a special counsel report that questioned it. While some questions posed a challenge for White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and White House Counsel Office Spokesman Ian Sams, others were more interested in how the White House was going to rehabilitate the public’s perception of Biden; one even tried to give them an easy out to explain away his cognitive decline. The special counsel report which cleared Biden legally has become a loose grenade for his campaign politically. Now everyone is talking about the one thing the Biden campaign didn't want them talking about: Biden's age and mental fitness. As Karen pointed out this morning, Biden has already made his first post-report gaffe, mixing up the president of Egypt with the president of Mexico. This was meant to reassure us? So today there are two types of Democratic operatives being quoted in news stories the first are those like David Axelrod who've been warning about this problem for some time. “Fair or not, you can’t unring the bell,” said David Axelrod,

In a 122-page motion filed Friday night, Roman’s attorney wrote that Wade’s former law partner, Terrence Bradley, will soon testify that the pair’s relationship started before Willis appointed Wade to the state case involving former president Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants, or before she even became district attorney. If true, the testimony is said to challenge the Georgia prosecutors’ previous claims that they started dating after Wade was already named to the case. “Bradley has non-privileged,

President Joe Biden held a press conference on Thursday night to do damage control over special counsel Robert Hur’s report over Biden’s handling of classified documents. However, the presser was such a disaster that it unquestionably caused more damage than it controlled. It was a public relations nightmare for Biden, who came off as angry, bitter, confused, uninformed, and incompetent. Had it been former President Donald Trump instead of Biden who spoke last night, Democrats would claim he’s unfit for office. But Democrats don’t hold Biden to the same standards they held Trump. For the past three years, Americans knew what Democrats refused to admit -- that Joe Biden had entered a cognitive decline that rendered him unfit for office. Democrats and the media insisted that Biden still had energy and vigor, even while every public appearance added evidence to the contrary. Voters had to rely on their own eyes to reach their conclusions that Biden's aphasiac mumbling, stiffness, and repeatedly false recollections indicated that Biden was clearly unfit for office. Joe Biden, senior aides and political observers strongly criticised the special counsel, Robert Hur, for extensively discussing the president’s age and allegedly fading memory in his report on Biden’s retention of classified information from his time as a senator and as vice-president – which did not produce an indictment. Hur, who Donald Trump appointed US attorney for Maryland, “could not refrain from investigative excess”, said Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal counsel. Though this was “perhaps unsurprising given the intense pressures of the current political environment”, Bauer added, the final report “flouts Department [of Justice] regulations and norms”.

[SNIP] The announcement set off panic. More than half of Gaza's 2.3 million people are packed into Rafah, which borders Egypt. Many fled there after following Israeli evacuation orders that now cover two-thirds of the territory following the Oct. 7 Hamas attack that sparked the war. It's not clear where they could go next. Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said any Israeli ground offensive on Rafah would have "disastrous consequences."
