There must be some part of me that is incredibly naive, because I didn’t have “eco-friendly” and “green” ambulances on my bingo card—although from what I know about the imbecilic left and their senseless ideas, I really should have seen this coming.
Check this out, from an exclusive report out at Daily Mail on Saturday:
New ‘green’ ambulances unusable by paramedics who are too tall or have big feet, NHS trusts reveal after staff voice concerns for drivers’ safety. (Snip)
Here’s a link to battery-powered ambulances in New York City; here’s a link to more of the same from Paterson, New Jersey; here is just one of many European

This all fits into the depopulation plan.
It has nothing to do with saving energy!

If the battery goes dead, the equipment that's being used on you goes dead, which means YOU go dead. Good plan, you idiots.

And when your loved one perishes, stuck on a road somewhere, just remember: they did their part to worship Gaia. And you should too.

And these EVs don’t to well in the cold. The whole idea is just stupid. It’s going to cause loss of life. And post 2, thanks for making me smile this morning.

They have to weld a bicycle generator to the roof to take over in case of battery failure in the middle of nowhere. The no longer necessary driver of the dead ambulance can climb up there and keep the defib charged.
Stupidity on steroids.

All the more reason to follow the ambulance once the patient is loaded, to make sure they make it to the hospital.
Oh, and sue any ambulance company whose vehicle fails to complete the trip. If they can't deliver, then don't pay.

Hope it doesn't catch on fire while taking someone to the hospital.

You can't afford to get sick, now you can't afford to get into an ambulance unless the ride is short, it's not cold or raining and you are not too tall. Ambulance chasing lawyers will now have a much easier job because the green ones will be easier to catch.

My Rescue Squad, just had a new ambulance delivered.
A Ford 550 chasis with their biggest diesel engine and the cost was $280,000 dollars, we ordered it two years ago.
Today the price is up by another $50,000 dollars. When I joined a paid Fire Department in 1964 they were using Pontiac station wagons. The they went to International carry-alls, and eventually over the years they started buying we call the boxes. The large and roomy boxes we use today. Now they want to put us back in electric Carry-alls. The electric usage in an ambulance is pretty harsh. The light, the monitors, the radio's the suction devices, the portables that need charging the Lucas devices for CPR, even the cots need batteries that charge off the motor. Buying an electric ambulance is crazy.

Some police departments switched to EVs. They had to abandon them because they couldn't catch anyone in an ICE vehicle.

How is this cost effective? There will always be ambulances out of service because they are re-charging. They will need to have extra ambulances or reduce service.

Of all the vehicles that shouldn't be run by a battery, it an emergency vehicle. It has dozens of power hungry devices beside the lighting: Heart things, resuscitators, radios, monitors, etc.
But they can provide instant heat for the patient.

People WILL die.
"Can you hang on a bit, sir. We need a quick charge here before we can make it back to the hospital. It'll only be about 45 minutes. So, just relax....don't think about that heart attack.".

Joe Biden should really show his support for "green cars". He should order that his presidential car, "The Beast" be all electric and that all vehicles in his 40 car convoy be electric. And, if the Secret Service doesn't like it, he should show his leadership and override them. Until he does that, he is just hot air.

What do the billionaires get? Probably helicopters, certainly not electric ambulances. Is this another population reduction measure?
