We Had an Incident With a Boeing Plane
in Atlanta

Original Article

Boeing should just declare bankruptcy because the company has suffered an atrocious month filled with investigations, pieces falling off their airplanes, and parts blowing off mid-flight. It all began when a door panel blew off a routine flight from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California. Scores of flights using the 737 Max 9 were again grounded nationwide. Airlines inspecting this model found that screws needed to be tightened. The Federal Aviation Administration’s order later became indefinite, but that didn’t stop the calamity. Last week, a Boeing cargo plane was spraying flames, making an emergency landing in Miami. That was after the FAA announced a total audit of Boeing’s manufacturing process.

Good grief, ANOTHER one!!

Was it Boeing that decreed that DEI was it's primary focus. Maybe United Air?

Maybe Matt Vespa isn’t very bright. The plug door is on the current team; Boeing didn’t build the engine on the 747, it was GE. And 757s have been out of production for nearly twenty years, that’s on operator maintenance - there is no epidemic of landing gear wheels departing from Boeing aircraft. But please do point the finger at your favorite bogeyman.

One would think that it is Deltas responsibility to ensure that all of the tires are securely bolted to the aircraft not Boeings? They were awfully lucky that the tire didn't come off while tooling down the runway at 140mph

The engine blowing and the nose wheel falling off has nothing to do with Boeing.

Probably well above 50% of all the airliners and cargo aircraft in the world. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it is 70%. So ANYTHING happening, good or bad, to any large aircraft is very likely to involve a Boeing aircraft. Boeing does not build engines and most models have multiple engine options, so engine troubles may or may not relate to other aircraft of "the same model". Also, Boeing doesn't build landing gear, tires or brakes. And Boeing doesn't maintain the aircraft. HUGE swaths of the aircraft systems and performance are entirely outside the ability of Boeing to control. Certainly, issues with the door blowing out may be a Boeing build problem or a maintenance issue. Flight control issues can be Boeing issuse, or third world pilot issues. Boeing isn't perfect, but they are also not incompetent. This pilot and engineer would MUCH prefer to fly on Boeing's aircraft rather than Airbus's overly automated and thereby dangerous designs.

fta: “Sounds like we got a problem” is an understatement. So, is Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg going to do something about why parts keep falling and blowing off airplanes, or is he still on paternity leave? -- Of course not, they don't want us serfs flying anyway. So why not just let lots of airplanes fall apart causing countless deaths and watch the commercial airline industry implode. Then only our betters will be able to jet about the globe all while patting each other on the back for being so climate conscience.

What kind of maintenance is being done on these planes that this is an ongoing problem. Once upon a time there used to perform preflight checks. Is that still happening?

At a time when technology increasingly intersects with law enforcement practices, the story of Harvey Eugene Murphy provides a cautionary tale about the potential pitfalls of using various technologies that can lead to injustice. Murphy has filed a lawsuit against Sunglass Hut’s parent company after a store’s facial recognition program falsely identified him as a robber. As a result, he was arrested and jailed, which led to him being sexually assaulted. A 61-year-old grandfather is suing Sunglass Hut's parent company after the store's facial recognition technology mistakenly identified him as a robber. Harvey Eugene Murphy Jr. was subsequently held in jail, where he says he was sexually assaulted, according to the lawsuit.

MSNBC host Al Sharpton said Wednesday on “Morning Joe” that Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) humiliated himself Tuesday night by supporting former President Donald Trump after the New Hampshire primary. Sharpton said, “Obviously Trump winning by double digits was not unexpected. I think Haley did a little better than some of the polls had, but she didn’t make it. I think that the fact that she pledged to keep running is in many ways the ultimate insult to Donald Trump because he wants everyone to just prostrate and bow to him and say now it’s over. What he’s really concerned about is his four cases.

Plans are in motion to build what would become the tallest skyscraper in the United States — and it is coming to an unlikely city. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a population of just under 700,000, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Although it has around a twelfth of the population of New York City, developers are trying to use it to take away the Big Apple’s title as home of the largest building in the country. Real estate company Matteson Capital hopes to submit a request to raise the tower’s original planned height of 1,750 feet to a whopping 1,907 feet — a nod to the year Oklahoma gained statehood

The Democrat Party has done everything they can to ruin President Donald Trump. The junk lawsuits couldn’t stop him. The insurrection lies couldn’t stop him. The 14th Amendment smears couldn’t stop him. The FBI spying and lies couldn’t stop him. Lawfare charges by crooked District Attorneys. Threats of 700 years in prison for manufactured crimes. Stealing over $250 million from his business for paying off business loans. Brutal harassment of his family. None of this stopped President Trump from his mission to save America from the Marxist horde and the power hungry elites. Now, the left has a new tactic. Politico today is now urging Republicans to skip Trump rallies.

Despite unique voting laws New Hampshire holds, former President Trump still slid to victory in the Granite State’s Monday night primary election. New Hampshire is often described as a “closed” primary; however, several rules allow voters to change party affiliation to “undeclared” when voting in elections. The state’s Secretary of State website asks: Can I vote in a primary if I am an undeclared voter? Yes. An undeclared voter may vote in a state primary or a presidential primary. You will be required to choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot when you go to vote.

Perhaps the one thing Hamas didn't count on was its inability to command total public support in Gaza. Residents of the embattled territory took to the streets on Wednesday morning to demand their terrorist government release the remaining Israeli hostages taken during the October 7th massacre. [Tweet, video] The protest occurred near a hospital, prompted by anger at Hamas for putting civilians in the position they've been placed in. As has been said many times, the war would end immediately if Hamas simply surrendered and turned over the hostages. Instead, the terrorist group, including its psychotic leader Yahya Sinwar, has burrowed underground, content to prolong the conflict.
