The 45th president of the United States, Donald John Trump, is a particular kind of president, out of all the previous presidents in modern history, and a specific kind of threat to established political organizations. He is not a threat per se to voters, or to Americans, but rather to the current political party system. But there is a fascinating reason why this is so, and I’d like to suggest that it stems from the most powerful element of America itself, including its founding: individualism. That may seem like an obvious statement, but if you map out all the elements of the current U.S. political economy, they are made,

That is because his dogs have bitten people more than one dozen times since moving in, prompting officials to formally kick them out after dealing with it for months on end.

We saw that again when he was asked about the economy and got snippy with a reporter, scolding him to "Start reporting it the right way." (X Video) As I noted, the translation for that is that you guys are supposed to be pumping out my talking points, the way I want them reported, not questioning me.
However, inflation, debt, and high interest rates aren't good for the American people, and snippy comments aren't going to change that.

Speaking at the Iowa Athletic Club in Coralville, Haley accidentally referred to Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark as 'Kaitlan Collins', the name of the rising-star CNN anchor.
'We're excited to see the Lady Hawkeyes team. What a great coach they have. Kaitlan Collins is phenomenal,' said Haley, drawing confused looks from several members of the crowd.

For Republicans, it could be a very happy new year indeed. The 2024 elections hold the potential for a trifecta: winning unified control of the federal government, including all its elected branches, for the first time in eight years.
“Could” is the operative word, however. Republicans have an opportunity, but they must capitalize on it to bring their electoral dreams to fruition. The fact that it takes more than good poll numbers and flawed opponents to win in a polarized political climate can itself be summed up in one of the most futile phrases of the past few years: the “red wave.”
