electoral optimism

For Republicans, it could be a very happy new year indeed. The 2024 elections hold the potential for a trifecta: winning unified control of the federal government, including all its elected branches, for the first time in eight years.
“Could” is the operative word, however. Republicans have an opportunity, but they must capitalize on it to bring their electoral dreams to fruition. The fact that it takes more than good poll numbers and flawed opponents to win in a polarized political climate can itself be summed up in one of the most futile phrases of the past few years: the “red wave.”
Just two years ago, Republicans looked to have a chance

If there has been no change in the mail in ballot problem,
why would anyone expect there to be a change in the election problem?

there are still 11 months yet, to get to November so, remember that the demcommies never stop politicizing any topic and have the media in their back pocket so
- the important and imperative thing to remember is to VOTE in November and in the primaries in your states because
- we have got to increase our numbers in the House and drive out the RINO's in the Senate and
- foremost, give the heave-ho to mitch mcconnell and send him back to cut tobacco in Kentucky

Righto and Rona McDaniel will out there on her Rhino surf board riding that Big Red Wave to another unforeseen election rout. Thanks President Trump for endorsing this corrupt stealth communist death democrat for another term as head of the RNC.

If Republicans win the Presidency and the senate and the House, we still will not capitalize on anything.
Too many Republicans think like Democrats.
We will gain nothing until we rid our party of the cowards and the RINO's

Never underestimate the ability of the national Republican party (RINOS) to screw up a sure victory.

I would have extreme confidence in the outcome if anything had been done to prevent the cheating.

And I begin 2024 with a sense of dread. Is it already too late? will the powers that be allow a Republican to win the election? If Republicans win, even with Trump winning the presidency, will the rest of the party work to undermine Trump as they did last time? And frankly, I think this is the BEST outcome we could hope for. Other much worse alternatives include leftist simply seizing power under some trumped up emergency, assassinating President Trump, WWIII erupting (it’s already begun), China taking Taiwan, Iran nuking Israel, another scamdemic, etc. it’s great to know Republicans are optimistic. I’ll sleep better knowing this.

A very large portion of the republican party will be disappointed if they win, and will actively work against any victory. Their past performances tell of their future behavior.

"Electoral optimism"?!? That's not even close to what I'm feeling right now. How about 'national pessimism'? As in, my country is literally going down the tubes, and it's apparently too far gone to even survive for the next 10-12 months! Whatever FJB's minions haven't accomplished by then will most certainly end in a war with Russia or Iran.....not good odds. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln.....

Big deal. We won the House inn 2022 and nothing is being accomplished.
The only benefit of electing Republicans is that it slows the rate of decay of our country.

I'm not in the camp that says 'the votes have already been counted'. There will always be some last minute tweaking to achieve an illusion of plausibility. I am in 'the fix is already in' camp. I struggle to imagine a way to overcome the ballot fraud, Big Media complicity, and limitless evil of the Deep State.
