Pope Francis asserted Sunday that global warming is contrary to God’s plan and presents a significant risk to all “life on earth.”
“Besides war, our world is threatened by another great danger, that of the climate, which puts life on Earth, especially for the future generations, at risk,” the pontiff stated in a written text, which was read aloud by his aide Monsignor Paolo Braida following the weekly Angelus prayer.
“And this is contrary to the plan of God, who created everything for life,” he added.

Wow! I didn't realize the Pope was meteorological scientist too. Is there anything he's not an expert on? Other than Catholicism...

Is the same cabal that's behind the gibberish coming from our President also pulling the strings at the Vatican? How else could leadership around the globe be going mad concurrenty?

Pope Francis! Stick to your day job. When Our Lord returns will He find YOU doing what you've been tasked to do? Because I thought (probably mistakenly) that you were primarily supposed to leading others to Heaven - and it seems you've put THAT on the back burner.

The pope would have to be a lot more than an expert in meteorological science to have a reasoned opinion regarding what he is flap jawing about.
He is just regurgitating what he has heard or read in the newspaper. He has no foundational knowledge. He is the vacant mind that is- as the old saying goes- the devil's workshop. He is helping the scammers take resources away from the needy and everyone else. An obsolete solar farm or bankrupt solar panel factory will not help any of God's children but it will enrich the skimming scammers.

He should confine his activities to God which incidentally should begin with the feral animals carjacking 900 cars in our nation's capital.

No it doesn't. I am a Catholic and I thank God I have a sensible parish priest. He even goes hunting. Francis won't be here forever and hopefully the next pope with have some sense.

As I recall, the words to Moses were something along the line of "I will return with fire" so I suppose warming things up a bit would come first.

There is an LCMS pastor who does a lot of satire, and who is also a sometime contributor to The Federalist, and he has several videos about "Frank the Hippy Pope". ;)

1. There is no such thing as catastrophic climate change.
2. There us no such thing as transgender human beings.
3. There is no such thing as a female Catholic priesthood.
Strike three yer out IL Papa. Please sit down in the dugout.
I don't think he has the intellect to defend radical ideas. He just blurts them out from time to time.

Guess the pope doesn't believe in the Bible which says God created man in his own image, it also says “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Sounds like the Pope is following something besides the God mentioned a few times in the Bible.

Last time I checked, even Roman Catholics can read the Bible. And they are supposed to believe what it says. Yeah, I know, how quaint, right? Nowhere in The Bible is the modern bugaboo of "global warming/climate change" even mentioned. Earthquakes, check; wars, check; sun and moon darkening, check; giant flaming hail and mountainous meteors, check. Global warming..... nope, not there. The Pope is a fraud who doesn't even believe in the foundational scripture of his religion. He is a quack, a charlatan, a phoney poseur who needs to shuffle off this mortal coil pronto. And in the meanwhile, he needs to shut his pie hole.

How much papal bull can you pack into one speech? OTOH, he acknowledges “the plan of God, who created everything for life,” and OTOH, declares carbon dioxide—the stuff of life itself for all vegetation on Earth—a danger. Does he even read this stuff before he speaks, or is he just a Biden-like puppet who mouths words written for him? He actually sounds a lot like Obama: arrogant, divisive, petty, vengeful, with just a hint of a threat to those in opposition around the edges.

I tried to tell my little grandchildren that God will take care of us. He entrusted us with the Earth and we are to do our best to take care of it in the ways humans can. Pick up garbage, that starts at home. Then be responsible with fire. Work to make big companies dispose of their waste responsibly, etc., but other things are out of human hands. One volcanic eruption, a result of God's creation, will erase any human removal of carbon in the atmosphere.
We were taught that God watches over the "Birds of the air" and the "Lillie's of the field" and He will watch over us as well.
It really bothers me that Pope Francis never mention's Faith in God as an answer to life's problems. I believe with his milquetoast responses in area's of grave sin have put million's of souls in jeopardy.

This Commie Pope is a pure politician, not any kind of a religious man, let alone a Catholic religious man.
The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

First, let "Pope Goodworks" sell off those billions of dollars worth of artwork and other valuables in Vatican City; donating the proceeds to feed the poor, for the "good of humanity."
