A new report in CNBC confirms what many observers, including the House Judiciary Committee, have noticed: online censorship has become a global industry, worth billions of dollars. And with two major wars underway, one in Ukraine and one in the Gaza Strip, that industry is reportedly set to expand.
According to one industry insider interviewed by CNBC, the worldwide market for “trust & safety” (Silicon Valley shorthand for “censorship”) services now stands at $11 billion.
Via CNBC: Manu Aggarwal, a partner at research firm Everest Group, said trust and safety is among the fastest-growing segments of a part of the market called business process services, which includes the outsourcing

Donald Trump is now 39 points ahead of his rival Ron DeSantis in Florida, a new poll has revealed, in yet more bad news for the struggling state governor.
Trump, 77, won 60 percent of support among registered Republicans polled by the University of North Florida, while DeSantis could only claim 21 percent.
Nikki Haley, Trump's former UN ambassador, came in third with six percent, while Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, won two percent. Vivek Ramaswamy, the millionaire entrepreneur and political newcomer whose star has burned brightly but now seems to be fading, won one percent.
The pollsters surveyed 788 people between October 23 and November 4.

The list of fraudsters is longer than anyone thought possible. And the fraud schemes range from the clever to plans so stupid you have to wonder who was dumber — the fraudster or the government manager who approved the funds.
No one was fired for the malfeasance, the negligence, the stupidity, the laziness, or the sheer, shocking incompetence involved in losing hundreds of billions of dollars to criminals and ordinary people who saw that a child could rob the government of hundreds of thousands of dollars without any effort at all.

Even when I came up with the awesome and seemingly obvious nickname Christ “Kristy Kreme” Christie and mused why Trump hasn’t employed it yet, I was convinced, and remain convinced, that somebody, somewhere must have thought of it before.
Admittedly, making fun of Chris Christie for being a human-walrus hybrid is low-hanging fruit and low-brow entertainment. But if anyone deserves to be ruthlessly mocked for their gluttony and slovenness, it’s this guy.
Anyway, Christie, who has absolutely no chance of winning the GOP nomination because everyone hates him for being a Judas but who absolutely has a guaranteed MSNBC contributor gig

New Hampshire Democrats have a message for Presidentish Joe Biden, delivered figuratively with a flinty New England middle-finger salute to his plan to upend the traditional primary schedule.
For more than a century, New Hampshire voters have enjoyed the privilege of holding the first-in-the-nation presidential primary election, in recent decades quick on the heels of the Iowa caucuses. There's even a state law mandating that New Hampshire hold its primary seven days before any other state.
Biden, however, tossed tradition aside — and gave New Hampshire's primary law the finger — last year, when he "recommended" that South Carolina go first. Under Biden's plan, which was quickly endorsed by the DNC,

Michelle Goldberg has a column up today that reads more like a news story. The focus of the column is Rep. Jamaal Bowman who has been getting himself in trouble lately with his Jewish constituents because of his left-wing approach to Israel. Jazz wrote about some pronouncements Bowman made earlier this week at a rally demanding a ceasefire. You can imagine how well that went over with people who are actually Jewish and don’t agree with Bowman.
Plenty of Jews in his district, including some who loathe Israel’s right-wing government, disagree, and have grown alienated from their congressman and the strain of progressive politics he represents.

Members of the anti-war feminist group Codepink have firmly rejected claims they secretly take money from Beijing — but then refused to condemn the detention of Uyghurs and other human rights abuses in China.
House Republicans this week launched a probe into the anti-war progressive group, which calls for Pentagon spending cuts to tackle climate change, pointing to the group's ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
DailyMail.com spoke to senior Codepink activists about the allegations. They fervently rejected all claims that they take cash from Beijing, but also appeared unwilling to say anything critical about China's widely-reported abysmal track record on human rights.

Former President Donald Trump “poses the biggest danger to the world in 2024,” says the Economist, a leading globalist magazine.
“A shadow looms over the world,” declares the November 16 article, adding that “the prospect of a second Trump term fills the world’s parliaments and boardrooms with despair. But despair is not a plan. It is past time to impose order on anxiety.”
The article does not suggest any plan to “impose order” on American democracy. In prior decades, establishment groups often offered concessions — mostly insincere — to millions of ordinary U.S. voters.

The process of auto-beatification among the educated in the West seems more prevalent than ever. Possessed, as they believe, of knowledge, wisdom, and generosity, they believe also that they are the conscience of society who therefore ought rightly play a directing role in it. They have what Thomas Sowell, the great American economist and social theorist, calls “the vision of the anointed,” derogation from which would be a sign of moral and intellectual weakness. For them, all desiderata are reconcilable, and the world can be made not only just, but fair. Perhaps not coincidentally, the cost of all this will be borne by others.

Nothing's as expensive as cheap imported labor, and New Yorkers are about to find that out the hard way.
According to the New York Post:
The NYPD’s force will be reduced to just 29,000 cops by the end of fiscal year 2025 — the lowest level since the mid-90s — amid a slew of city-wide budget cuts revealed by Mayor Eric Adams Thursday as the Big Apple grapples with its multi-billion-dollar migrant crisis.

Senate Democrats blocked a stand-alone Israel aid package led by Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., Tuesday after a lengthy debate on the chamber floor.
Marshall sought unanimous consent for the House's version of the package, which passed the lower chamber with bipartisan support Nov. 2 and would earmark $14.3 billion reallocated from funds meant for the IRS in President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. Senators Marshall, Ted Cruz, JD Vance and Mike Lee introduced the Senate version last month.
But Democrats shot down the effort because the package does not include aid to Ukraine. A handful of Republican senators argued the two emergency aid packages should be split up and voted on separately.

How many times have you heard some politician or press member state that "Palestinians don't support Hamas" over the last month? Probably more times than one can count, but is that true? That's a question that is answered by a new poll out of Gaza and the West Bank, and the results are both shocking and deeply disturbing.
We've known from the beginning that many supported the October 7th massacre carried out in Israel by Hamas. In the immediate aftermath, celebrations broke out as bodies and hostages were paraded through the streets. We also know that civilians took part in those attacks, both with violence and looting.

Argentina's presidential frontrunner, Javier Milei, a militant libertarian and zero-apologies supporter of Israel, has picked up and waved the Israeli flag at a gargantuan campaign rally -- and the crowd went wild: While it's kind of unusual for a presidential candidate to pick up another country's flag at a campaign rally for the presidency of his own country, there is some valuable context to explain why that is going on.
One, he doesn't care what polite society thinks of him, so waving the flag of a country he admires is entirely in character.
Two, Argentina has the largest population of Jews

WASHINGTON -- The Supreme Court said Thursday it will not allow Florida to enforce its new law targeting drag shows, while a court case proceeds.
The justices refused to narrow a lower-court order that has prohibited the law from being enforced statewide. Florida had asked the court to allow its anti-drag show law to be enforced everywhere except at the Hamburger Mary's restaurant in Orlando, which challenged the law's constitutionality.
Three justices, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas, said they would have granted the state's request.

Hell hath no fury like the Democrats’ scorn for Moms for Liberty.
These mothers have been attacked, vilified, bullied, doxed, and called every demeaning and negative name in the book. Why? Because mothers around the nation grew weary of the Left’s vice-like grip on the education industrial complex. These brave women decided to resist, fight back, and challenge left-wing ideological dominance in education by embracing the spirit of two simple words: “No more.”Such defiance and desire to protect their children has petrified Democrats, liberals, and left-wingers everywhere. They fear the threat to the Left’s core values and sociopolitical monopoly on education that Moms for Liberty represents.

The White House has forcefully condemned the recent social-media trend in which young influencers have taken to endorsing Osama bin Laden’s “letter to America” justifying al Qaeda’s 9/11 attack on the United States.
The trend, which emerged on the Chinese short-form video app TikTok in recent days, is driven largely by anti-Israel users who have praised bin Laden’s letter for the accuracy of its antisemitic diagnosis of America’s problems.
“There is never a justification for spreading the repugnant, evil, and antisemitic lies that the leader of al Qaeda issued just after committing the worst terrorist attack in American history

Thursday on FNC’s “Special Report,” outgoing Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) addressed speculation he would seek the White House as a third-party candidate in 2024.
The West Virginia Democrat gave low marks to the two parties’ frontrunners, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. He told FNC host Bret Baier he had little confidence in either and warned of consequences if Trump were to win a second term. “Well, first of all, we don’t know on Super Tuesday who the two candidates may be on the Democrat and Republican side,” Manchin said. “But right now, I guess all odds are they will be Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Now for something a little darker.
Examples of the twisted triumph of the American public education leftist indoctrination mill abound these days. The pro-"Palestine" mobs we've seen marching on college campuses for the last month are proof that the rot runs from kindergarten all the way through higher education. Here's a story from Mr. Green that makes me wish I could afford more things to throw against my walls:
"Some of us — and I include more PJ Media VIP commenters than I can count — weren't even half-joking when we said that if 9/11/2001 had been 9/11/2023, thousands or millions of Americans

The big build-up of Gaza as an impregnable Hamas tunnel fortress has turned, in a comparatively short time, into the saga of a martyr city, soon to be a displaced person's camp, the West's wards. Leaving politics and ethics aside, the military collapse suggests Hamas soldiers have been poorly served by their leadership. Gaza was designed as a terror base, not for the conventional war Hamas got itself and the whole strip into. It was never configured and could not conceivably have resisted the IDF. Their survival plan depended on Israel reacting as they anticipated, and not as it could. Hamas' high command was so sure

Few will be shocked to find out that some of the same radical Squad members (and their allies) who have alleged, without evidence, some of the vilest and incendiary things about Israel in the aftermath of the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians are now running to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), begging him to call off powerful critics ahead of the Democratic primaries.

A pro-Palestinian activist group shared a frightening map of New York City newsrooms, businesses and landmark buildings — and called for “direct action” to “globalize intifada.”
In addition to news buildings, Within Our Lifetime, which describes itself as a Palestinian-led community organization, called for followers to target the offices of technology companies. “Each of the locations on this map reflects the location of an office of an enemy of both the Palestinian people and colonized people all over the world. Today and beyond, these locations will be sites for popular mobilization in defense of our people,” the sickening Wednesday night post read.

One of the indisputable foundations of civilization came down Mount Sinai 3,323 years ago. Moses brought two tablets etched with the Ten Commandments to his people and pronounced it to be their common law, which would secure their peace and freedom from the arbitrary rule of kings or pharaohs. One of England’s foremost jurists, Sir Edward Coke, called Moses “the first reporter or writer of law in the world.” Robert Sheffern, a historian of law, wrote that the laws compiled by the Jews in the Ten Commandments, the Torah, and the Talmud “may well be the most influential collection of legal materials in world history.”

In the realm of national security, how important is genderqueerness? According to a recently revealed document, it deserves great regard.
The Daily Wire has published the National Security Agency's 34-page Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Glossary. The list of terms and their meaning solidly set the Defense Department's Woke level to Red.
The agency has an aim, and it's safety -- of feelings. Hence, the following words are featured:
Allyship
Marginalization
Microaggression
Micro-Insults
Micro-Invalidation

As antisemitic rhetoric and attacks have increased at some of America's leading institutions, Jews on college campuses have been left scratching their heads, asking how it is possible that progressives could present the veneer of tolerance and modern thinking, while celebrating Hamas' barbarity and embracing hate. But, in fact, "progressive" intolerance is nothing new for college campuses, with antisemitism and even Nazism part of many universities' dark pasts.

U.S. energy experts are warning of the economic and national security implications of President Biden's pact with China this week to move towards shutting down fossil fuel production in favor of green energy. The State Department announced this week it had struck a deal with its Chinese counterparts pledging to "accelerate the substitution for coal, oil and gas generation" with green energy sources like wind and solar power. The nations, which account for nearly half of global greenhouse gas emissions, also agreed to "deepen policy exchanges" on reducing carbon emissions in various sectors, like power, industry, buildings and transportation, across their economies.

In a recent article I pointed out that the conflict in Israel is very important, but it’s a distraction from another major goal: an attack against the United States that would make 9/11 pale in comparison. Remember, Israel is the “Little Satan” but the U.S. is the “Great Satan.” Though the world now rightly focuses on Israel, the world’s sole Jewish state is largely irrelevant as regards the real threat to world peace: militant Islam. If you really want to address root causes, then look no further. Israel and the Jews are but a convenient distraction, a red herring, just the canary in the coal mine.

In the nauseating demonstrations celebrating Hamas' slaughter of Israelis, one hears repeated, again and again, the refrain that Israelis are "settlers" and "colonists" -- and therefore, in the catechism inculcated in universities in recent decades, oppressors not deserving of mercy or sympathy when tortured and murdered by those who deemed themselves the oppressed. Of course, people -- and peoples -- don't always fit neatly into these categories. Jews have been living in the lands "from the river to the sea," between the Jordan and the Mediterranean, since Biblical times, in varying numbers. Ferdinand Magellan was one of the world’s greatest explorers. He led the first expedition to sail around the world, although he didn’t finish the voyage, having been murdered by natives in what is now the Philippines. Magellan’s greatness as an explorer and navigator has been recognized in many ways. For example, he discovered the Strait of Magellan at the bottom of South America. And his expedition observed and recorded the galaxies that now bear his name.
But perhaps not for long: Astronomers request retitling of galaxies named after ‘violent colonialist’ explorer Magellan.

The Biden administration keeps talking about the urgent need for Israel to have a post-war plan for Gaza. What that really means is that it wants the PLO to take over Gaza. Netanyahu has opposed that for now. The Palestinian Authority is run by Fatah, the body behind the PLO, and is just another Islamic terrorist group. And parts of it claimed to have taken part in the Oct 7 massacres. But none of that is stopping the Biden administration from its obsession.
The thinking is that if the Palestinian Authority takes over Gaza, it can force negotiations on a Two-State Solution and finally bring peace by empowering terrorists.

Interest payments are through the roof. Real wages continue to fall. And a record number of illegals crossed the border.
That’s just the domestic news. As of this writing, Americans are being held hostage by Iran-supported Hamas terrorists who killed nearly two dozen other Americans when they invaded Israel. Our military forces face increasing Iranian-sponsored attacks in Iraq and Syria. While President Joe Biden lets Iran off the sanctions hook for another four months.

The pro-Palestinian protests over the last month, where tens of thousands in the US have chanted for the end of Israel, are not merely a story of organic rage.
They are also funded in large part by an uber-wealthy American-born tech entrepreneur, Neville Roy Singham, and his wife, Jodie Evans.
Since 2017, Singham has been the main funder of The People’s Forum, which has co-organized at least four protests after 1,200 innocent Israelis were slaughtered by Hamas on Oct. 7.
One rally, in Times Square, happened on October 8 before Israel had even counted its dead.

UnitedHealth Group is being sued for allegedly using an artificial intelligence algorithm to systematically deny elderly patients rehabilitative care.
The class action lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Minnesota district court, says the defendants — UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthCare and NaviHealth — illegally used an AI model called nH Predict in place of medical professionals despite knowing it had a 90% error rate. This helped the group continuously deny Medicare Advantage Plan patients the care their doctors said was necessary, such as nursing facility stays, by "predicting" what a patient "should" require instead of what they actually do, the lawsuit states.

I mean, why are we shocked by this poll? The Left might be, along with liberal media reporters, especially for all their chest-beating about how there is a difference between Hamas and ordinary Palestinians. We knew this was a laughably false narrative since Hamas was voted into power in 2006 in the Gaza Strip. The following year, they did what any radical group does: seized the local government and killed members of the rival Fatah Party. They’ve ruled Gaza with an iron fist for 17 years. So, how do these ordinary Palestinians feel about a two-state solution, Hamas, the October 7 attacks, and what their dream nation

A gag order put in place by a 'politically biased' New York judge during Donald Trump's civil fraud trial has been overturned.
Judge Arthur Engoron - who is overseeing the fraud trial that is ongoing against Trump - slapped a limited gag order on the former president on October 3 after he insulted the judge's principal law clerk in a post on his Truth Social platform.
On Thursday, another judge, Associate Justice David Friedman, temporarily lifted the gag order pending a hearing about whether it should be in place amid concerns it could impinge on Trump's freedom of speech.

At first, I assumed this was a fringe thing, but as of late yesterday, the “Letter to America” videos had wracked up over 10 million views, with most people apparently agreeing that Osama had a point. America IS the bad guy because we are a settler colonialist nation and therefore any kind of resistance is justified.
