Eugene Vindman — the twin brother of Alexander Vindman, who orchestrated an impeachment inquiry into former President Donald Trump — is running as a Democrat for a U.S. congressional seat in Virginia, according to a report.
Semafor reported Wednesday that Vindman, a retired U.S. Army colonel, is expected to announce a run for Congress in Virginia’s 7th congressional district to replace Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), who is running for Virginia governor.
There is a fundraising page for Vindman on the ActBlue website, as well as a social media account, according to the outlet. The social media account on X appears to be defunct as of Thursday evening.

Chinese-owned TikTok is now “proactively and aggressively” taking down videos expressing support for Osama bin Laden and promoting the late terrorist leader’s “Letter to America.” Young Americans have enjoyed massive virality spreading the thoughts of the terrorist leader on the Chinese platform.
“Content promoting this letter clearly violates our rules on supporting any form of terrorism,” TikTok said in the statement. “We are proactively and aggressively removing this content and investigating how it got onto our platform.” (X Video) “The number of videos on TikTok is small and reports of it trending on our platform are inaccurate,” the Chinese app added.

Sixty years after Edith Piaf’s death, AI is enabling the iconic French singer to narrate a film about her life.
“AI technology trained on hundreds of voice clips and images, some of which are over 80 years old, will allow for Piaf’s distinct voice and image to be revived to further enhance the authenticity and emotional impact of her story,” Warner Music Group said in a statement on Tuesday.
Warner Music is partnering with Piaf’s estate for Edith, which unfolds on the streets of Paris and New York and will feature original recordings of her signature songs, including “La vie en rose” (Life in pink) and

A new viral trend on China-owned social media platform TikTok includes largely younger people praising and agreeing with notorious terrorist Osama bin Laden‘s “Letter to America.”
The letter, which is filled with anti-Western and anti-Semitic language, is a justification from bin Laden for the 9/11 attacks, which killed roughly 3,000 Americans in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.“Over the past 24 hours, thousands of TikToks (at least) have been posted where people share how they just read Bin Laden’s infamous ‘Letter to America,’

President Joe Biden was left to awkwardly manage a solo press conference on Wednesday after his four-hour meeting with Chinese dictator Xi Jinping in San Francisco.
Xi preferred to avoid the press, scooting off to his reception with big-name American businessmen and leaving the Chinese Foreign Ministry to handle his public relations work.
If Xi had done a joint presser with Biden and taken some questions from the press, he might have avoided the awkward moment when Biden told a reporter he still views Xi as a “dictator.” It seems unlikely Biden would have answered that question the same way if Xi was standing behind him, although one never knows what will

Joe Biden seems intent on keeping the mullahs of Iran well funded proving the means to continue their assaults on the world and on their own people.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday that the Biden administration extended a sanctions waiver allowing Iran to collect another $10 billion in funds.
Biden has now gifted the Iranian regime with $80 billion since entering the White House.
When not using focusing their time, and their increasingly flush coffers, on fomenting violence across the globe, the brutal regime is stepping up executions of anti-regime activists while the world is distracted by the Hamas-Israel war.

Special Counsel Robert Hur, who is investigating President Joe Biden for mishandling documents, is not expected to charge anyone, sources familiar with the matter told CNN and the Wall Street Journal.
The report suggests a double standard of justice. While there will reportedly be no consequences for Biden, Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted former President Donald Trump in June for mishandling classified documents.Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Hur in January to investigate Biden after classified documents from his time as vice president in Barack Obama’s administration were found in his possession at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, DC, and at his Wilmington, Delaware, home.

A Canadian man who attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer in his San Francisco home has been found guilty.
David DePape, a former nudist from Canada, entered the Pelosis' mansion through a back door in the early hours of October 28, 2022, and bludgeoned former House Speaker Nancy's 82-year-old husband Paul.
The jury deliberated for about eight hours before finding David DePape guilty of attempted kidnapping of a federal official and assault on the immediate family member of a federal official. DePape, who faces up to 50 years in prison, did not react as the verdict was read in a San Francisco court on Thursday.

Pro Tip For Joe Scarborough: When seeking to praise Joe Biden, under absolutely no circumstances make mention of the "brain."
On today's Morning Joe, Biden fanboy Joe Scarborough, waxing ecstatic over Biden's meeting yesterday with Xi, asserting the value of Biden's foreign-policy experience, Scarborough made perhaps the most unfortunate analogy possible, comparing Biden to a "brain surgeon."
"I'm so sick and tired of people talking about, oh, we want an outsider to, to run the most important country in the world ...If I'm getting brain surgery, I don't want a guy who's good in action movies. I want a guy who's the best brain surgeon

The Senate voted to punt a fight over government spending into early next year on Wednesday night, easily passing a funding bill the House approved the day before.
The 87-11 vote all but guarantees Congress will avoid the holiday time crunch of past spending clashes. Senate Democrats wanted an extension into early December but ultimately agreed to funding into January and February after Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) introduced a bill free of spending cuts or policy riders.
