The media are worried about the low COVID vaccination rate as winter approaches. The lockdown lovers and mandate militants of the press are doing their best to gin up yet another round of COVID hysteria. A robust resistance is called for.
The government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak, cheered on by a legacy media that is clearly dominated by neurotics, violated fundamental liberties and caused more health problems than it solved. We were encouraged last week by a long article in New York magazine topped with the headline: “COVID Lockdowns Were a Giant Experiment. It Was a Failure.” Finally,

Like the Johnny Paycheck song of take this job and shove it. That's what they can do with their clot shot.

The government is not to blame for using COVID to expand their power, that's what all governments eventually do and lawyers are not the answer. The blame rests solely on the millions of American stooges who willingly gave up their freedoms, complied with shutdowns, took dubious and untested vaccines and wore those useless rags on their faces when proof was presented early on that they were useless. The "useful idiots" as people such as this were identified decades ago by communist promoters, came through as predicted for the US Government and most of the civilized world. Washington did not escape their own dictatorial policies as the US Military, airline pilots and police forces were decimated by the vaccine requirements. Perhaps the worst outcome was the dumbing down of millions of our children when already underperforming schools were closed.

Very, very early on hubby and I recognized that the information we were being fed was seriously flawed for a variety of reasons. So when the so-called vaccines became available we were already so skeptical of anything coming the government that we made the decision that we would be and remain part of the control group in what was obviously a huge, unprecedented experiment. We have never regretted that decision. I credit the Holy Spirit for inspiring us to do what we did; especially with every new piece of information that emerges concerning the ongoing terrible effects of those drugs.

There was plenty of evidence that Covid was a very survivable virus. A little bit of research beyond the usual stuff would have done the trick. I turned off the TV to get rid of the virus fear porn and lived my life very normally. Often I would be the only one in the grocery store without a face diaper going the wrong way down the aisle (remember that?).
I will ignore the next latest thing too. I am ashamed of my fellow Americans who bought into this giant hoax.

I know a LOT of people who had covid. I had it too. The only ones who had a difficult time with it were those who had pre-existing conditions. The worst was a woman I know who is overweight, has high blood pressure, asthma and diabetes and she had a very bad time with it. I have a sibling with psoriatic arthritis and he had it rough too. Everyone else has described it as a mild flu or bad cold which was my experience. I didn't take the new shot. My doctor said I don't need it.

Most of us have friends and relatives that still believe that a covid virus is just waiting, ready to pounce on them. We must feel compassion for them, as we do for any ill person. But please, spare the rest of us from their bizarre rituals.

In the SF Bay Area, some of my liberal friends are still wearing masks. Liberals are so cult-like and so inclined to be sheeple. It is depressing.

In my county, Kansas suburbs of Kansas City, the county closed restaurants for 6 weeks, and then it was over here. Once that was over, we continued to go out to dinner with friends once a week, and to eat with other friends in restaurants the entire time. Two couples of our dinner group bowed out for 18 months, sat home by their own choice, but my wife and I and other friends still went to restaurants. I never wore masks, either going to the restaurants, or in them.
We shopped normally, did not wear masks when shopping. One grocery store I use said that they were going to "require masks"....and did, but didn't confront me when I shopped without a mask. Initially, when there was reason to believe that the virus could be transmitted via surface contamination, we sprayed out hands with isopropyl alcohol prior to entering our cars. That ended after 6 months when we discovered that this was an extremely improbable transmission route. We visited Yellowstone Park, met family members there and had dinner together in a large lodge (igoring their mask mandate, getting mildly hassled) and camped, hiked, visited relatives in Florida and Mississippi, traveled whenever and wherever we chose. We visited our cabin in Colorado, hired a well driller, had a well drilled, and had another company install the well pump, bury the deep pipe to the house,
and more. Just went about our business pretty much unhindered.
Other than the difficulty in some cases of finding restaurants open in random counties where the idiot county commissioners shut down restaurants, we had no difficulties. And foolish crap like one particular large chain store gas station where there were no windshield cleaning squeegies. When I asked about it the fool said "There's a pandemic going on!" To which I replied, "What the heck does that have to do with cleaning my windshield?" All the others of the same chain store had their windshield squeegies in place. Fools.
God Bless Waffle House and Subway. They were the restaurant chains that we found ALWAYS open when traveling, where it was sometimes a pain to find a nearby restaurant in the town we happened to be at
when meal time rolled around.
We did not "lock down" in any sense. We were moderately inconvenienced.
Just ignore the idiots.

I’m extremely grateful to still be jab-free after all these years. I’m also grateful that I live in a state where our governor has already announced that there will be no mandates of any kind, no lockdowns and no closed schools this winter.
