Israel's ambassador to the UN displayed a yellow star reminiscent of Holocaust victims on his chest Monday, provocatively pledging to wear the badge until members of the Security Council condemn Hamas 'atrocities.'
The state has previously called for Secretary General Antonio Guterres to resign after he said last week that the October 7 Hamas attack that killed 1,400 'didn't happen in a vacuum.'
'Some of you have learned nothing in the past 80 years. Some of you have forgotten why this body was established,' envoy Gilad Erdan said.

Far left Rep. Pramila Jayapal is apparently worried that Biden’s expressed support for Israel may cost him the votes of some Arab and Muslim Americans in 2024.
She made the remarks during Meet the Press yesterday, when she also compared Israel’s response to the Hamas attack on Israel to Russia’s “seige of Ukraine.”
Members of the ‘Squad’ have really taken their masks off over the last two weeks. It’s ugly.
FOX News reports:Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., warned President Biden to be “careful” about his support for Israel on Sunday during an interview on NBC and said she needed to “call us to a higher moral place”

A Nevada man was arrested last week in connection to allegedly issuing ominous and antisemitic threats to a U.S. senator in the wake of Hamas’s bloody terror attack on Israel, according to a criminal complaint.
ABC7 reported:
John Anthony Miller, 43, allegedly began making the calls to the unnamed female senator on Oct. 11, four days after Israel’s war with Hamas began. […] While the senator is not named in the complaint, Sen. Jacky Rosen is Jewish, and Miller’s threats repeatedly seek to tie the lawmaker’s support for Israel to what he says is her Jewish background.
Miller is accused of leaving a voicemail with Rosen’s office on October 17th, court documents said.

We've seen a lot of twisted reactions calling for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas, including protests like those in New York City, where people chanted in support of Hamas.

We saw an unbelievably awful response from the UN — that organization that's supposed to be about bringing people together — that showed again it's about anything but with a couple of its resolutions last week. The juxtaposition of the results of those resolutions was jarring. First, they failed to pass a resolution condemning the Hamas attack on Israel. So that couldn't get the two-thirds vote required to pass.

The Biden Administration became upset and threatened to quit supplying rifles to Israel after photos emerged of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir passing them out to “community security squads,” according to Haaretz.
Photos of the rifles being passed out were posted on Ben Gvir’s social media and “led to a diplomatic incident that threatened to stop the arms shipments from the United States to Israel.”
The Biden Administration reportedly does not want guns passed out to civilians nor distributed during “political events.”Haaretz noted, “The [Biden Administration] also threatened to halt an order of some 20,000 rifles purchased by the National Security Ministry from American suppliers.”

Lost in the swirl of events over the past three weeks, as well as the rapid pace of events in cases in multiple courts involving former President Trump, is the fact that he moved to dismiss the Washington D.C. case filed against him by Special Counsel Jack Smith based on a claim of “Presidential immunity” from criminal prosecution for acts while in office.
On October 19, 2023, Smith filed an Opposition to that motion. Much like the motion itself, the Opposition escaped scrutiny as it came around the same time Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro pled guilty – to what I’m still not certain – in the Georgia case,

In a recent no-holds-barred conversation with political commentator Joy Thayer, ex-Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), General Michael Flynn, unveiled a shocking narrative surrounding the moral integrity of certain members within the U.S. legislature.
He alleged that the hold of globalist agendas over these officials stems from compromising situations they find themselves in during official overseas trips.
He expressed his disdain for what he described as a “totally, completely broken” House of Representatives, which he alleges is under the thumbs of corporate lobbyists and globalists. According to Flynn, these external entities have managed to ensnare some legislators through compromising situations during Congressional Delegation (CODEL) trips overseas.

Now that Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) has been elected as the Speaker of the House, you know that Democrats are desperately trying to dig up any kind of dirt that they can find on him. Democrats target anyone who might stand in the way of their power, so you know it's a good sign that they're having such a meltdown over Johnson.
But you know how hard up they must be with The Atlantic’s effort to attack Johnson. It’s pretty comical, truthfully. If this is all they can come up with, Democrats are going to spend a lot of time gnashing their teeth.
What have they come up with?

The total of Biden private email exchanges was disclosed Monday in a little-noticed status report filed in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought against the National Archives and Records Administration by the nonprofit public interest law firm the Southeastern Legal Foundation.

President Joe Biden’s supporters initiated a New Hampshire write-in campaign to save the embattled president from losing the nation’s first Democrat primary.
Biden skipped registering for the state’s balloting deadline on Friday in an effort to support the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) new primary state nominating calendar. Joe Biden and the DNC opted to displace New Hampshire as the first state and replace it with South Carolina, a state that greatly aided Joe Biden in securing the 2020 Democrat nomination over socialist Sen. Already felt in places like Denver, the abnormal chill will affect wide swathes of the Midwest, South, and East, forecasts show - including almost all the Lower 48 states.
The single exception, meteorologists say, will be the Sunshine State - which, true to its name, is set to stay in the 70s and 80s.Elsewhere, in places like North Texas, temperatures are poised to drop like a rock

“This machine cannot be stopped,” declared Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant earlier today. At the very least, Israel will not stop the IDF, now fully unleashed in Gaza, short of total victory. Instead, Gallant offered Hamas a different deal, which sounds remarkably like Hamas’ true ‘offer’ to the Israelis.
“Die or surrender” sums both up nicely, no? This is the same ‘deal’ that Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran have offered Israel for decades. It’s the same deal that the other Arab nations offered between 1947 and roughly 1979, too. For the last sixteen years, Israel has hoped that withdrawal from Gaza might moderate those enemies similarly as Egypt and Jordan moderated

As Israel continues to count and identify the bodies of the October 7 Simchat Torah massacre by Hamas, and as the number of civilian victims used as human shields by Hamas in Gaza continues to rise, revolutionary Islamists are now filling European streets and squares, attacking police and synagogues, and, above all, proclaiming loudly: “Here we are, and we stand by what happened.”
This problem stems from both failed demographic and immigration policies. While Hungary’s Viktor Orbán has accepted some level of immigration and has started to let in tens of thousands of third world migrant workers to deal with the ongoing global recession, he has done so under strict regulations.

The most barbaric and widescale terror attack in decades took place on October 7, when Hamas Nazis invaded southern Israel and embarked on a killing spree, massacring 1,400 Israelis and taking over 220 hostages. I will never forget the unfathomable images of death and destruction.
Hamas is a jihadi terror group and the atrocities they committed were exactly like those of ISIS and al Qaeda. It deliberately targets civilians and children. It is savage. And these terrorists are solely responsible for the situation in Gaza. In 2005, Israel unilaterally withdrew from the Gaza Strip, removing all Israeli civilians and soldiers from the territory.

It's pretty shocking to see little kids saying that. Until you think a little, and then you realize: of course.
Of course, the schools in Gaza teach the kids to hate the Jews. That's the whole point of government schools. To teach the kiddies who to hate.
That's why all the college kids are peacefully protesting for the Palestinians.

Phillips’ campaign, Balz wrote, "is built on perceived anxiety about Biden’s age," and serves as "a placeholder for the unease about Biden, 80, that exists among many Democrats."

But "Bidenomics" means the worst is yet to come, and multi-trillion-dollar deficits are the new normal. The impetus for these massive deficits is federal government spending, which tipped the scales at $6.1 trillion last year. Government receipts, meanwhile, were $4.4 trillion, woefully short of the $5 trillion previously forecasted.

New Jersey’s Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin has added new charges to an ongoing election-fraud case involving Democrat Alex Mendez, the Paterson City Council President, and several alleged co-conspirators. According to the Attorney General, the defendants are accused of attempting to rig the election, tampering with ballots, and obstructing the course of justice through witness tampering.
Mendez was initially indicted on election fraud charges in 2021. Now, fresh charges have been brought against him, his wife Yohanny Mendez, and two other Paterson residents, Omar Ledesma and Iris Rigo. The revelations came after an extensive investigation by the Office of Public Integrity and Accountability (OPIA), which itself was prompted when

Police across Maine were alerted just last month to 'veiled threats' by the U.S. Army reservist who would go on to carry out the worst mass shooting in the state's history, after concerns he would 'snap and commit a mass shooting'.
It was just one of a string of missed red flags that preceded last week's massacre at a bowling alley.
The revelations came as more than 1,000 people packed a cavernous church on Sunday night, with hundreds more spilling outside, to hug, sing, weep and seek comfort in the wake the state's most deadly mass shooting.

Vice President Kamala Harris offered up a cringeworthy moment for the ages when she proudly declared that President Joe Biden, 80, was 'very much alive' during an interview with 60 Minutes' reporter Bill Whitaker.
When asked would she happily step into the breach if Biden opted not to run for re-election in 2024, Harris, 59, awkwardly replied: 'Well, first of all, I'm not gonna engage in that hypothetical, because Joe Biden is very much alive and running for reelection. So there we are.'
When Whitaker pressed the former California senator for an answer, Harris said hat she didn't have time for 'parlor games.'

The United States has halted most civilian firearm exports for the next 90 days, the U.S. Department of Commerce said late Friday. Citing national security reasons, the Commerce Department said the U.S. will largely stop issuing civilian export licenses and will assess the "risk of firearms being diverted to entities or activities that promote regional instability, violate human rights, or fuel criminal activities."

Whether it’s the Russia-Ukraine war, or the Israeli-Hamas war, NATO remains a big part of U.S. decision-making. Indeed, the U.S.-led postwar alliance has lasted 75 years, and it’s fair to say that nearly everything the U.S. does overseas involves NATO, directly or indirectly. But increasingly, average Americans are uneasy about the alliance, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.
A significant number of Americans, though not yet a majority, feel the burdens of the U.S.’ NATO leadership as unfairly distributed, according to the online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,378 adults taken from Sept. 27-29

Utah Senate Republican candidate Trent Staggs said on Breitbart News Saturday that electing another Senate conservative could create a “critical mass” for change in Congress’s upper chamber.
Staggs told Breitbart News Saturday host and Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle that should he get elected to the Senate, he hopes to work with stalwart conservatives such as Sens. Rick Scott (R-FL), Ron Johnson (R-WI), J.D. Vance (R-OH), Josh Hawley (R-MO), and others. He said that increasing the conservatives’ share of influence in Congress’s upper chamber could help create a “critical mass” to where Senate conservatives could “effectuate change.”

Jewish students at Cornell University in upstate New York are reportedly hiding in their rooms after vile, anti-Semitic death threats were posted on a student message board. The campus kosher dining hall was singled out with a threat of a massacre. Police are reportedly on scene and the Cornell administration has issued a statement expressing concern. During an appearance on this week’s “Sunday Morning Futures” on the Fox News Channel, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) acknowledged House Republicans under his leadership were still committed to pursuing potential wrongdoing by President Joe Biden and his family.
“Sir, what about the investigations into the potential Biden family influence peddling, potential bribery?” host Maria Bartiromo asked. “Are you going to allocate the financial resources and human capital needed to do an in-depth investigation? And will an impeachment inquiry turn into an official impeachment?”

A federal judge on Sunday reinstated a gag order she imposed on Donald Trump in the Washington case accusing him of trying to overturn his 2020 election defeat, preventing him from attacking witnesses, prosecutors and court officials.
The order prohibited Trump from targeting Jack Smith, the special counsel prosecuting his case or witnesses who might be called to testify about his efforts to upend his election loss.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan imposed the gag order on October 16 at the Justice Department's request.

If you want an indicator of how lost Western civilization has become, go to your kids’ school and check their rules on fighting. Most likely, you’ll find out if two kids get into a fight, both get suspended, regardless of whether one was a punk bully who started it and the other was simply defending himself or some little kid. This is a moral disaster, of course – violence in the defense of what is right is a moral obligation and a symbol of a greater rot within society. This is the kind of rule created by middle-aged, divorced cat women who can neither find nor satisfy a man

Newly-minted Speaker Mike Johnson may check many boxes for conservative Americans, but he's checking boxes for Democrats in a completely different way. In other words, the left has its new bogeyman, and he's sending them into fits of rage.
For example, did you know that Johnson is a Christian? I know, it's really terrifying stuff. It's times like these that I wish there wasn't a legal requirement to link to the source of an excerpt because absolutely no one should give David Corn and his awful site a click. Here's a bit of what was written.

On Friday evening, Harvard President Claudine Gay gave a speech to Harvard Hillel that was adapted in Forward. Gay forthrightly admitted that Harvard has an anti-Semitism problem:
Here in the U.S., we are witnessing a surge in anti-Jewish incidents and rhetoric across the nation — and on our own campus. The ancient specter of antisemitism, that persistent and corrosive hatred, has returned with renewed force.
A recent ADL report found that incidents of antisemitism had almost tripled over the past six years nationally. Here at Harvard, I’ve heard story after story of Jewish students feeling increasingly uneasy or even threatened on campus.

U.S. consumers are dealing with double-digit Halloween candy inflation for the second year in a row, with prices being an average of 13 percent higher this month compared to last October.
Retail price tracker Datasembly’s latest Grocery Price Index, based on “data collected from over 150,000 stores that represent 200+ retail banners” across the nation, revealed the spooky numbers on October 11. The index shared that sweet treats inflation “over-indexes the entire Grocery category at 6.7 percent for the same time period.”
According to the tracker, high inflation drove a national increase of 19.9 percent last year across the “Candy and Gum” category, so an additional 12.8 percent increase

Police at Cornell University were called to the school’s kosher dining hall, and the campus Hillel warned students to stay away from it, after anonymous antisemitic posts on a Greek life website that included threats to “shoot up” the building and kill and rape Jewish students.
The posts, whose text has circulated widely on social media, were published Saturday and Sunday under pseudonyms including “hamas,” “jew evil,” “jew jenocide,” “hamas warrior” and “kill jews.” The posts have titles such as “jewish people need to be killed,” “eliminate jewish living from cornell campus” and “gonna shoot up 104 west,” the name of the kosher dining hall.

So there's this: Lorenz, recall, is the Washington Post charmer who's supposedly the Voice of the Millennial, the youthquake explosion, the internet 'influencer' of the 'influencers.'
She's also a barftastic leftist, and worse still, a pretty unethical one.
She's the one who famously doxxed the owner of the Libs of TikTok Twitter account, and apparently lied to her editor about consulting her sources. I wrote about her here. Then when Elon Musk bought Twitter and started releasing all the company's secrets, it came to light

Nikki Haley is slowly rising in the Republican presidential primary polls. She put in good performances in the first two RNC debates and it is starting to pay off.
Haley and the other Republicans running in the primary have been slow to criticize Trump or draw sharp distinctions between his record and what they pledge to do in office. That’s a problem when the frontrunner, Trump, is so far ahead in the polls. Haley spoke out in Las Vegas on Saturday at the Republican Jewish Coalition annual summit. It’s a gathering for donors so if there is ever a good time to distinguish yourself as a candidate from the others
