PJ Media, by Sarah Anderson Original Article Posted by ladydawgfan — 4/8/2025 5:37:17 PM I don't even know where to start with this one. Every time this woman opens her mouth, she says something dumber than the last time she spoke. Yes, you may have guessed that I'm talking about the most obnoxious person in politics at the moment, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas).
Apparently, Crockett was the guest speaker at the 125th Anniversary Program at Grace Baptist Church in Connecticut over the weekend, and while I've only seen a minute or so of her speech, it didn't come across as very Godly or Christian-like. In fact, it's extremely racist and offensive. But considering the source, are we surprised?
Fox News, by Breanne Deppisch Original Article Posted by Harlowe — 4/8/2025 11:53:21 AM The federal judge who blocked the Trump administration's use of a 1798 wartime law to immediately deport Venezuelan nationals canceled a planned Tuesday court hearing to review the case after the Supreme Court handed a win to the president. In a minute order published Tuesday morning, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg announced that the previously scheduled Tuesday afternoon hearing would be vacated in light of the high court's ruling, which determined, among other things, that the "appropriate venue for such proceedings is the Southern District of Texas," or wherever plaintiffs that are subject to potential removal are currently being held.
Wall Street Journal, by Jan Wolfe Original Article Posted by sunset — 4/8/2025 8:17:22 PM A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the White House to restore the Associated Press’s access to presidential events, saying that the decision to impose limitations violated the news organization’s free speech rights.
U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden ruled that it was unconstitutional for the Trump administration to punish the AP because it refused to change its style guidance for the Gulf of Mexico, which President Trump renamed the Gulf of America. McFadden ordered the White House to restore the AP’s access to the Oval Office, Air Force One, “and other limited spaces when such spaces are made open to other members of the White House press pool.”
New York Post, by Josh Christenson Original Article Posted by Dreadnought — 4/8/2025 12:03:11 AM WASHINGTON — The White House warned Monday that President Trump would veto a bipartisan bill that would mandate congressional approval of all tariffs should it arrive on his desk.
Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said the measure introduced last week by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) “would severely constrain the President’s ability to use authorities long recognized by Congress and upheld by the courts to respond to national emergencies and foreign threats.”
The Trade Review Act also “eliminates leverage over foreign trading partners, inhibits reshoring and supply chain resilience, fosters market uncertainty, and introduces procedural micromanagement,” the OMB Statement of Administration Policy added.
Newsbusters, by Nicholas Fondacaro Original Article Posted by Imright — 4/8/2025 1:45:41 PM ABC News made a big deal of their extensive, months-long search for someone to fill their “conservative” seat, so one would think presenting a diversity of opinion on The View would be a priority. But a new NewsBusters study showed that it’s more than just a name. “The View” also represented the fact that only one view, the liberal view was permitted; they were exposed by the fact that in the first three months of 2025, they had ZERO right-leaning guests on the program to talk politics.
Since coming back after their winter break on January 6, through April 4 (the Friday before the 6th), The View had 63 guests
Agence France-Presse, by Staff Original Article Posted by Imright — 4/8/2025 11:01:13 AM Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has fired a senior US officer assigned to NATO, the Pentagon announced Tuesday, saying her removal was due to a loss of confidence in her ability to lead.
Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield is the latest in a string of top officers to be dismissed by Donald Trump’s administration, part of a rare major shakeup of senior US military leadership since the president returned to office in January. Hegseth removed Chatfield “from her position as US representative to NATO’s military committee due to a loss of confidence in her ability to lead,
Associated Press, by Lea Skene Original Article Posted by sunset — 4/8/2025 3:05:41 AM An appeals court on Monday cleared the way for billionaire Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency to once again access people’s private data at three federal agencies, a win for the Trump administration as the underlying lawsuit plays out.
In a split ruling, the three-judge panel blocked a lower court decision that halted DOGE access at the Education Department, the Treasury Department and the Office of Personnel Management. The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has also sided with the Trump administration in other cases, including allowing DOGE access to U.S. Agency for International Development and letting executive orders against diversity, equity and inclusion move forward.
American Thinker, by Monica Showalter Original Article Posted by DW626 — 4/8/2025 7:23:42 PM If you're gonna be a master of sneaky pete, a master meddler, you'd better be sure your sneaky schemes work. Obama's didn't.
Which is how he's found himself in this predicament, according to New York Post columnist, Miranda Devine, who cited findings from a new book by a couple of reporters: It used to be said that President Joe Biden was serving former President Obama’s third term, that his former boss was controlling him from the home he had bought in DC’s ritzy Kalorama neighborhood, two miles from the White House.
The feeling was that Obama was the real leader of the Democratic Party
Red State, by Rusty Weiss Original Article Posted by ladydawgfan — 4/8/2025 5:51:13 PM Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem took part in early-morning deportation raids in Arizona Tuesday, almost getting kicked by an illegal alien as he was detained in the back of a police vehicle.
Noem, who takes part in the raids to remind criminal aliens that there's a new sheriff in town, was speaking with a suspect who had just been cuffed and placed in the back of the SUV.
"Do you understand the charges against you?" she asked Jose Escobar-Robles, who was being picked up for reportedly illegally funneling money to Mexican drug cartels.
Escobar-Robles's response was muffled, but Noem replied, "Yeah, well, you're gonna be prosecuted."

Wade has pleaded guilty to attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Nicholas John Roske was arrested outside Kavanaugh's home last year, allegedly armed with a firearm, a knife, and zip ties. Out of rage over the Court's landmark decision, he confessed to the crime. His actions highlight the alarming and dangerous rhetoric emanating from the left as violent threats against conservative justices and public figures continue to escalate.
Breitbart Tech, by Lucas Nolan Original Article Posted by Imright — 4/8/2025 11:54:53 AM Recent incidents of vandalism targeting Tesla vehicles with swastikas has raised questions amongst leftists about the limits and interpretation of hate crime laws. As violence and domestic terrorism by Trump haters against Elon Musk and Tesla escalate, many on the left are trying to excuse extreme acts of vandalism.
The New York Times reports that in recent weeks, a series of vandalism incidents involving swastikas being drawn or carved onto Tesla vehicles in New York City has sparked a complex debate about the definition and application of hate crime laws. While the use of swastikas, a symbol of Nazi Germany and antisemitism, would typically be considered a clear-cut case
Fox News, by Kaylee Holland & Madeline Coggins Original Article Posted by Imright — 4/8/2025 10:52:18 AM From diversity and gay rights to freedom of speech and protest, anti-Trump activists in New York shared their visions of an "ideal America" during interviews with Fox News Digital on Saturday, at the 'Hands Off!' protest movement.
"For me, an ideal America is one where people can protest like this and have their voices heard, and they are the ones who are running the country — not somebody who's taken over the country and no longer allows the First Amendment to be spoken," said one unnamed, masked protester, holding a sign which had the scientific symbol for "resistor."
