COVID cases are up. Hospitalizations climbed 24% last week. But the media make everything seem scarier than it is. The headline "Up 24%!" comes after dramatic lows. Oh fer Chrissake, Stossel. A mask? If you can see daylight through the mask, it’s useless. Unless it seals tightly around your face (so that you can’t talk to anyone) it’s useless. If you don’t wear it everywhere all the time, it’s useless. You stand a better chance of getting shot in Chicago than getting the virus. If you want to get another useless booster, well, okay.... but forget the rest of that nonsense.

My daughter’s mother in law currently has covid - a sore throat and a headache. That’s it. And she’s had every shot and booster that has come down the pike and this is her third case of covid. Guess how she votes. The only people who will fall for this nonsense again are ignorant democrats. Oops, that’s redundant. So, put on a mask and show the world that you’re an idiot. The rest of us will not comply.

Stossel was mostly right in his assessment of the Covid hysteria the media and medicos are building. I’m glad he praised the wisdom of Sweden’s response to Covid from the beginning. Throughout 2020 Trump went out of his way to bad mouth Sweden’s policy of not shutting down the country or imposing masks. Stossel gets it wrong as he criticizes DeSantis for preventing businesses from requiring customers to wear masks or be vaccinated. Civil rights cannot be erased by private business.

FTA: "The headline "Up 24%!" comes after dramatic lows. Hospitalizations are still less than half what they were when President Joe Biden said, "The pandemic is over."" I think it should be against the law to not print the percentage and absolute numbers together - always, whatever kind of story.

Of course the left is intent on creating another covid "crisis". They used the first one as a reason to introduce wide spread vote-fraud-by-mail schemes and they want to do it again.

Give it a rest, Stossel! Why not publish some of that swill as fiction, make a few nickels and dimes to see you into an early retirement.

News broke Monday that U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, the judge overseeing the Jan. 6-related case against Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., set a March 4, 2024, trial date for the former president. It just so happens that March 4 is the day before Super Tuesday, when more than a dozen states, from California to Texas to Virginia, will hold Republican primary elections. What a coincidence! What this means is that Trump, the Republican front-runner by a wide margin, will not be able to campaign ahead of the most important date on the GOP primary calendar. It also means he’ll likely be tied up in court a week later on March 12,

In the midst of the Biden administration’s disastrous military withdrawal from Afghanistan, top Pentagon officials were working to get the Secretary of Defense to sign a major climate change initiative, according to emails obtained by The Daily Wire. In the two weeks between the fall of Kabul to the Taliban on August 15, 2021, and the final U.S. military flight out of Afghanistan on August 30, Pentagon officials were scrambling with the White House to finalize the Department of Defense Climate Adaptation Plan, a document that declares climate change a major national security risk.

I watched the first GOP presidential debate Wednesday, moderated by Fox News. What was my first thought? That all Republicans should first stop giving in to the media and other Democrats by calling limits on abortion a "ban" on abortion. Six-, 13-, 15-, or 20-week limits on abortions are not bans any more than moving pornographic books out of children’s sections in libraries is a "ban."It appears that many people are giving Nikki Haley high marks for the debate because she appeared moderate and reasonable and willing to work with Democrats

Despite years of Biden family and media disinformation, we are finally learning that President Joe Biden really did fire Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin for looking into state corruption involving the oil company Burisma and Hunter Biden -- and ultimately Joe Biden himself. As vice president, Biden, in his own words, bragged that he had threatened to cancel the deliverance of American foreign aid to Ukraine unless Shokin was dismissed. So what is Congress to do now -- un-impeach and exonerate an innocent impeached Donald Trump, and instead impeach a guilty Biden for essentially the same allegations?

Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of the Hezbollah terror group, recently threatened to send Israel back "to the Stone Age" if it goes to war with Lebanon -- meaning defend itself against an Iranian-Lebanese attack. While Nasrallah's threat to destroy Israel is not new, he surely knows a thing or two about sending countries back to the Stone Age. His Iran-backed group, which functions as a state-within-a-state in Lebanon, is responsible for turning the Arab country into a failed state.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said it’s time to take a “political risk” and consider changes to Social Security and Medicare benefits for young people. Changes to the programs are necessary, or they could run out of money for everyone in about a decade as the country faces a rising national debt, the presidential candidate said. “The most disgusting part of Joe Biden’s State of the Union address this year was when he stood up, and he said, ‘We’ll all agree, right? We’re not going to do anything to Social Security?’

Thanks for joining today’s study. I was inspired to write “What Jesus Says About Worrying” while watching an episode of “The Chosen” Season Three, where Jesus quotes from Matthew 6:25-34. However, “inspired to write” is an understatement. Hammer on the head is more accurate since God knows my Jewish mother was a worrier — an Olympic gold-medal team member. I once bought her a decorative pillow with a Hebrew-like typeface that read, “Call your mother - she worries.” That proved the Jewish mother’s “worry gene” is pervasive enough to be branded on merchandise. (Then, I imagined some Jewish mother worrying,

This is a wonderful connection and one of the reasons I loved growing up in Manhattan and being exposed to so many people from other countries. As a woman of color who had grown up in the 1950s, my exposure to what constituted American culture was exclusively White although at the time it wasn’t labeled as such. It also made no difference to me that the idea of diversity in culture was even necessary.

And how accomplishing the important things allows you to say the right things and move the ball forward. DeSantis has proven to be an exceptionally competent governor,

In an interview on Tuesday, the rightwing broadcaster Glenn Beck raised Trump’s famous campaign-trail vow to “lock up” Hillary Clinton, his opponent in 2016, a promise Trump did not fulfill in office.Beck said: “Do you regret not locking [Clinton] up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?” Trump said: “The answer is you have no choice, because they’re doing it to us.” Trump has encouraged the “lock her up” chant against other opponents but he remains in considerable danger of being locked up himself.
