Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Thursday he would support “whoever” is running against President Joe Biden in the 2024 general election.
“Special Report” anchor Bret Baier asked Pompeo if he would refuse to support former President Donald Trump if he were the nominee. Trump currently leads Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida in the Real Clear Politics average of polls taken from July 12 to August 6, 54.2% to 15.9%, a margin of 38.3 points, with businessman Vivek Ramaswamy in third place with 6.1%.

Barack Obama is often hailed as one of the greatest orators in modern politics. While he had undeniable gifts in that department, as someone who attended a number of his speeches in person, I never quite understood all the praise. Special counsel Jack Smith said in a filing Thursday he is prepared to take former President Donald Trump to trial by Jan. 2 of next year over Trump's federal indictment for seeking to overturn the 2020 election.

Cristina Laila reported Wednesday that 75-year-old Utah man and Trump supporter Craig Robertson was shot and killed early Wednesday morning during an FBI raid.
According to reports, Robertson was facing three counts after posting threats to Joe Biden: Interstate threats, threats against the president, and influencing, impeding and retaliating against federal law enforcement officers by threat. Many good people whom I respect tell me that the Marxist left have already won and that there is no longer any point in fighting. I disagree for many reasons, but I will list three:

In fact, I would say that history is really written only when good men and women find their backs against the wall and realize that the only way to preserve their free will is to fight like hell and buck everything that stands against them.
Corporate America’s complete surrender to DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) standards and ESG (environmental, social and governance) efforts is only beginning to be exposed, as cowardly CEOs place greater importance on Corporate Equality Index scores issued by the left-wing Human Rights Campaign than they do the satisfaction of loyal consumers — see Bud Light.
One brand after another is suddenly in the headlines for selling out, sometimes costing them billions of dollars, as seen recently with Target and its “tuck-friendly” swimwear targeting children, and Best Buy seems eager to be next in line it seems.
The walls are closing in around the Bidens. Sworn testimony and bank records show that they accepted at least $20 million from foreign entities during the time Joe was Vice President. These foreign entities are notoriously corrupt ones such as China, Russia, Romania and Ukraine.
Joe’s son was the ringleader, but it was Joe that he was selling. Joe was the “brand” according to sworn testimony. Who else could have been? There’s no conceivable reason for these foreigners to send millions to the Biden family other than to influence the “brand.”
