NJ Gov. Murphy: GOP Attacks on VP Harris ‘Offensive’

Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Republican attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris are “offensive” because she is an “icon.” Anchor Margaret Brennan asked, “Let’s go national here. Nikki Haley, in particular, has focused on the Vice President Kamala Harris and a lot of her rhetoric and she’s done it as a way pointing to President Biden’s age. The RNC is posting frequently clips from her speeches, flubs and they’re really taking aim at her. Why have Republicans calculated it is a good strategy and that the vice president makes Democrats vulnerable?” Murphy said, “I mean, this is a classic us versus them playbook that, unfortunately,

I just had my comment taken down on Nextdoor because on a thread about "Weathermen being so constantly wrong, yet never fired for it" I dared to suggest, jocularly, that Politicians enjoyed the same standards. It was "Removed for being Disrespectful". I made no mention of any particular politician, nor Party.

I find it extremely offensive that's he's still in office after putting covid infected Seniors back in homes and therefore killing a lot of people with his actions. Why is he not in prison yet? (along with 4 other governors who did the same to seniors.) Remember these Seniors had to die alone because of their policies. I'm disgusted with the lot of them.

Are you kidding me? This woman collects an overly-generous government salary, has free room and board at taxpayer expense, travels for free and does absolutely nothing. She drove her entire staff nuts and they were forced to quit and she can't even complete a sentence. My old English teachers would call them run-on sentences. She had one job and that was the US/Mexican border. That really worked out. Anybody who doesn't make fun of her will go nuts themselves.

Harris has one job. It is the same job as The HairSniffer had, when Zero was installed in the Oval Office. That job is to be such a loser that NO-ONE wanted them in the Oval Office, so NO-ONE tried to remove the current occupant. Not that Zero was that good (he was an anti-American disaster), but The Hairsniffer was so much worse..... then when the Crooked Media and the Crooked Deep-State Democrat Politicians stole the Primary from Crazy Bernie, then stole the general election from Trump and put The HairSniffer in as their puppet, they had to look far and wide to find someone who was SO MUCH WORSE as VP, that NO-ONE would want to remove The HairSniffer. Heels-Up Harris, the Dumbest person they could find (short of poaching one of the cast of 'The View') fit the bill.

Be careful what you wish for. A vocal proponent of the state’s controversial congestion pricing plan who is nudging New Yorkers into the city’s troubled transit system was attacked at a Manhattan subway station over the weekend. Layla Law-Gisiko, president of the City Club of New York, which sued Gov. Kathy Hochul to implement the unpopular toll for motorists driving into Manhattan, said she was left bruised and battered after the Saturday afternoon attack at the 23rd Street station. Today at around 3:30 PM, I entered the subway station at 23rd Street and 5th Avenue,” Law-Gisiko, 53, wrote in a post on X following the attack.

Canada is a lovely country with many lovely people. And while its federal government is dysfunctional and occasionally tyrannical when it comes to defending civil rights, it has much to offer. It has a well-educated populace with remarkably good manners, some fine educational institutions, and a largely functioning economy. I suggest that we only take half the country and leave the rest to sink or swim on its own. [snip] But then what? After all, this is a country that suffered under Justin Trudeau for nine years! Something must be wrong with it--at least with certain parts of Canada.

The Biden administration is banning certain natural gas water heaters from the market as part of its climate change agenda, a move critics say will jack up energy costs for low-income and senior households. The move in the final days of the administration will take non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters off the shelves by 2029 in a bid to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which climate change advocates and President Biden say cause global warming. The new rules will require new tankless gas water heaters to use about 13% less energy than today’s least efficient tankless models.

The Big Apple subway system has been wracked by five straight days of violence amid a spike in transit crime — despite the NYPD, National Guard and even the crime-crusading Guardian Angels on patrol. The horrifying Dec. 22 torching death of a New Jersey straphanger on a Brooklyn F train was only the beginning of the latest underground crime spree, which has seen five people stabbed or slashed and a 45-year-old straphanger thrown under a Manhattan subway train since Sunday. For some city politicians, it’s reached the breaking point. “New Yorkers do not feel safe on our subways, despite the nonsense that Gov. [Kathy] Hochul is spouting,”

A report by an immigration-centric think tank reveals that nearly 400,000 illegal births of so-called “anchor babies” occurred in the United States in the year 2024. As reported by Breitbart, the data from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), the total includes 300,000 anchor babies born to illegal aliens, while another 72,000 were born to foreigners in the country as tourists, on worker visas, or on student visas. The report highlights the ongoing threat of demographic displacement due to the practice of birthright citizenship, a misinterpretation of the Constitution which says that anyone simply born on American soil is to automatically be considered an American citizen.

Traffic cameras have been the bane of Britons for many a year now — but our neighbors across the pond have recently upped the battle, and the technology is coming over to America, as well. According to a Dec. 21 report from NBC News, police departments in the United States have become the latest to use an AI-powered traffic camera system made by an Australian company named Acusensus. The system, called “Heads Up,” doesn’t just check speed or running traffic lights like in other locales.

Tesla Cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger is a long-serving married soldier who was on leave from active duty when he carried out the attack outside Donald Trump's Las Vegas hotel. Livelsberger, 37, was identified by law enforcement sources as the bomber in the Wednesday attack that left seven wounded. The electric vehicle exploded about 15 seconds after the driver pulled up in front of the hotel's valet. The blast was caused by 'a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck' or 'very large fireworks', according to Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Livelsberger died in the bombing. Bryan Bowers and his business partner Mike Licata planned to build medical office space across from a new hospital in downtown Utica, New York. The Oneida County Industrial Development Agency nixed that plan by agreeing to take the property so a competing business next door could use it for a parking lot — a land grab that a state appeals court approved last February. The US Supreme Court invited such abuses with its 2005 ruling in Kelo v. City of New London, which blessed the use of eminent domain to promote economic development by transferring property from one private owner to another. Bowers’ case offers the justices another chance to revisit

Founded in 2016 and technically the product of an Obama-era executive order on counterterrorism, the GEC lapsed in December and lost congressional funding. Since that point, the 47th President has consistently chided Trudeau on social media.
