The self-proclaimed "Never Again Trumper" Paul Ryan once praised President Donald J. Trump on CNBC's "Squawk Box," April 17, 2018 -- chatting with Joe Kernen. This is a dramatically different face than what Breitbart recently reported about Ryan, on the same Squawk Box program, with some very harsh things to say about the former president (chatting with the same Joe Kernan). Here is the Breitbart account of those mean-spirited comments:

I can relate to changing opinions of people. I thought Paul Ryan would be a great Speaker and move along the MAGA agenda, but he turned out to be rather worthless. His performance as Speaker was as noticeable as passing gas in a windstorm.

Of course Paul Ryan's own failure as Speaker of the House has nothing to do with any of those losses. Terminal case of swamp dweller's TDS.

II presume mr Ryan views himself as the political savior in waiting. The front runner in November 2024.

I’ve often wondered why Paulie thwarted the MAGA agenda.
Was it because of his own philosophical bent, or was he being manipulated by the Deep State?
Maybe both.

#4 Might I suggest another reason to add to your list? Mr. Ryan married into the wealthy, political Boren Family of Oklahoma. His very, very wealthy wife whispers sweet liberal ideas into his ear. Paulie Babes likes his wealthy lifestyle and toes the line for his liberal spouse.
(By the way it us TOE the line.)

Laughable at Paul Ryan's comments in this article, saying that "we all lose" if he wins the election. Who exactly is the we in "we all lose" comment, Paul Ryan? Perhaps the losers are Ryan, Liz Cheney, Mitch, Romney, et al? I dunno Paul, I sorta liked the lower gas prices due to energy independence policies, border enforcement, low inflation, low unemployment, booming economy, booming stock market, etc. I could go on. Maybe you and Liz haven't been affected by the current regime, but we have. And we don't like it! All IMHO, of course!

It comes down to judgment and Ryan has bad judgment. Anyone who infers that the country will be better off with Biden or any democrat, and most Republicans is a fool. He is being a disingenuous twit. I agree with #6. I liked Trump’s policies.
The political class on both sides have brazenly shown contempt for the people who pay their salaries. They are too arrogant to understand we are not ignorant and more than understand what they have done to us. Trump ripped the curtain open and exposed the political class as the dirty, depraved, and corrupt criminals they are. The American people will not abandon the one guy willing to take them on which is why the Republican candidates running against him can’t peel away his supporters. It’s as simple as that. As President Lincoln said of General Grant and I am paraphrasing, I can’t lose him because he fights!

..it amazes me how absolutely CLUELESS the RINO pols like ryan... pence... christie... haley...etc... etc are...thinking that THEY can bad-mouth Trump...and still gain enough (any?) Republican support to successfully run for office...??........... makes one question their IQ as well as their patriotism.

An absolute two-faced loser and a liar, like a diamond, of first water.
This is guy was one of the top Uni-party forest rangers in the Deep Swamp who knew where all the quicksand pits were ... but led Trump into them anyway.
I hate this guy with a purple passion ... and if Dante gave Lucifer another mouth he'd jam Paul into it. An absolute piece of roadside garbage.
Okay ... enough metaphors.

RE #5 - and Supreme Court Justice KJB is married to a brother-in-law of Paul Ryan.
I think Donald Trump was too much a disruptor for Paul. Being in Congress wasn't about "public service" but controlling the agenda with his liberal wife telling him what to do. Screw your constituents and the country.

Lying Ryan has been bought and paid for by the swamp...he was at the meeting of the world order oligarchs recently...convincing them he could control sanctimonious and will lead him into the trap...he sees obama control biden without taking responsibility for the disastrous outcomes...like the border and the Afghanistan withdrawal ...so he figures he'll control sanctimonious the same way....santimonious is so stupid he doesn't see he's being used....or....maybe he does...

Many people I’ve seen post that they’d like to see Dem WV senator Manchin change parties.
I always disagree.
However I’d love to see Traitor Ryan do so.

If I remember correctly didn't biden sorta roll over Paul when they debated? That's pretty embarrassing unless of course Paul was instructed to hand biden the debate which should have been a walk in the park for PR.

Oh I don't know, I've only ever noticed ONE face to Paul Ryan. An ugly, evil one.
Oh, he is a handsome enough man, but his soul oozes through the facade. I never trusted him. When others at first were excited at him becoming Speaker and thought he would be great, I had at best a slight hope that he would be a decent conservative, but no expectation that he would be.

Paul Ryan is married to a lawyer who is highly connected in the democrat party. Not only that, she holds the purse strings on significant family money. So when you consider those two points, of course Paul is a gigolo Johnny, goes along to get along and is very passive aggressive.
