The present-day Left bears little resemblance to the old civil-libertarian, integrationist Democratic Party that existed from the 1960s through 2000.
The antecedents to its current madness were once previewed in the old party’s extremist wing of campus radicals of the 1960s and 1970s. They were accentuated by Black Lives Matter and Antifa during the Obama years, forged during the COVID lockdown and George Floyd riots, and polished during the era of Trump derangement syndrome.
On almost every issue, Democrats have repudiated their prior reverence for the Supreme Court.

There is a hardwired instinct in all men that drives them to give their lives and use their strength in projects and ambitions beyond themselves. This drive is built into them by their creator, because he made them in his image, and it exists around the world, across all religions, nations, and generations. It is part of masculinity. All men have this instinctive drive, it is only a matter of how they use it.
For a few hundred years, Christianity held influence over American masculinity. Men used their strength and ambition to build, bless, provide for, and protect the weak.

America’s day of reckoning has arrived. After decades of lofty sanctuary rhetoric and scandalously reckless immigration policies, we now face some big questions with no easy answers. Where are we to put the millions of new arrivals? How will we pay for them? What is the cost to our society?
While Joe Biden and his team of anti-borders radicals have been busy turning our country into a make-a-wish charity for the rest of the world’s population, it seems little, if any, thought was given to where all these newcomers would reside.

Mainstream and Social Media keeping apace with the Democrat Party’s FINAL ACT in the Puppet Show starring ‘President’ Joe Biden, continue to report, ad nauseum how the straw is falling out of ole Joe’s ongoing Act on a largely digital world stage.
O’Biden’s still out there falling up the stairs, but not everybody’s laughing.
On Friday, Obama’s 3rd term in office, intoned “God Save the Queen, man," before looking around to figure out where to walk offstage.”

We hear a lot about the loss of “institutional legitimacy” these days. One of the great ironies attendant on that loss is a revolution in sentiment among many—but by no means all—people who think of themselves as conservative. Hitherto, such people would have been staunch supporters of those institutions that, traditionally, had represented the rule of law, the continuity of our culture, etc. Nowadays, they look with a jaundiced eye upon once-respected institutions like the Department of Justice, the FBI, the CIA, and the rest of the national security/surveillance apparat.
How could it be otherwise? Recent revelations that scores if not hundreds of figures from that world had insinuated themselves

When Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his primary challenge to Joe Biden in April, the media shrugged him off as a meme candidate who would soon collide with political reality. Two months later, Kennedy is polling as high as 20% and his campaign is gaining momentum. And the media — unwilling to let Biden be primaried by this pedigreed populist — have decided it’s time to step in.

Rowan Atkinson or as many of us know him: “The guy who played Mr. Bean,” has more experience with EVs than most.
As an avid car owner and enthusiast, an early adopter of electric vehicles, and having previously studied electrical and electronic engineering (before his entirely unrelated career in entertainment), he surely has an informed opinion.

It wouldn't be the first time.
AGoogle Earth satellite video is making the rounds on twitter. it shows the moment an arc of fires began in northern Quebec, the smoke rising. It looks like people calculated the prevailing winds so that the smoke would blow south. Then connected via sat phone, they lit them. It’s another psy-op from our gracious overlords. We aren’t afraid enough, despite every nasty limiting idiotic play they have visited upon us in the last four years. Monkey Pox failed, more plague warnings were greeted by a shrug. But this one, the world bursting into flame? Be very very afraid.

Karl Rove criticized former President Donald Trump this week following the arraignment over his alleged mishandling of classified documents, warning that “America will pay a high price for the former president’s reckless petulance.”
Rove, a former top aide to former President George W. Bush, wrote in an opinion piece published in The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that “America has been plunged into an unprecedented crisis by the indictment of Donald Trump.”
“The blame for this calamity rests solely on Mr. Trump and his childish impulse to keep mementos from his time in the Oval Office, no matter what the law says,” Rove said.

As we all now know, former President Donald Trump has been indicted on 37 counts of willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice and false statements after a special counsel investigation. However, was the president set up by the federal government?
That is a possible defense that floated into a letter to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in April by Trump’s attorneys, in which they allege the National Archives and Records Administration “has become overtly political and declined to provide archival assistance to President Trump’s transition team” — the first such incidence of this to happen in 40 years.
